Don't worry about it.

TAC Season 3 will have a new host. Glubags will be taking over TAC from me after this season is over. Being a veteran competitor, I can only imagine how much better TAC will be for those who are new and old. I want to thank everyone from the support that you have given me from all 3 seasons. It really has been fun, I believe that all of us have improved from Season One a great amount. Heck even Detroitbb isn't in last anymore ;) Any kidding aside, I really appreciate all the hard work everyone put in including Psp88 & Cottees for helping me with replay viewing and catching cheaters. Although only one person was caught, I still appreciate you both for taking the time and effort away from TAC to help me out. Although I won't be hosting any longer, I still will try to compete and such. And giving Glubags a hand if needed during his hosting era. Thanks again GTP !!!

Wow, you won't be competing? I am quite curious what you have in mind for Season Three.

I will be closing this thread once the season is over. From there, I believe Glubags will be starting the next thread up.

Glubags, good luck with the S3 !!! Just one question : what about using the default tires of a car instead ? I mean, most of them are S1 or R1 but few of them or given with S3 (e.g. the Bugatti Veyron or the Honda NSX-R Prototype LM Road Car). What do you think ?

About your lap times record, I am happy to tell you that I added them in my website here. Are you ok with that ? If yes, can I put the other lap times record you did ?

I was confused too, that's why I posted one before 11:00 PM, but stay on the road for one hour more because I wasn't sure about the deadline. So maybe it is an honest mistake... I don't know, you are the boss !

1'09.746 without any tuning, but this is probably the most laps I've ever done before tuning. Wanted to try to squeeze everything I could out of the car.

Second split time was 0'37.110.

Unless I can find some suspension changes that will allow the car to understeer a LOT less, 1'08 is completely out of the question for me.

Hi ! I played a little bit while waiting for my client early this afternoon :

Lap time : 1'10.130

splits :
1. 0'16.682
2. 0'37.411
3. 1'10.130

No tuning, so my target time is 1'09.746 ! Great job by the way Glubags !

I'm currently at 1'10.366 and I hope (fingers crossed) that I'll be able to crack into the 1'09 mark. I don't think it'll be possible to knock a second and a half off my current time - it's not as if this car slides and loses grip. This challenge will be about the right line and getting the turns down perfectly (something that I'm not too proficient at).

Did a few laps this morning, just managed 1'09.875. Might be able to shave off .150 or so. I'm aiming for 1'09.700. Arg!!! Have to go to work now:grumpy:
 
Hi ! Funny thing : I did 1'09.993... twice ! (A splits : 0'16.580, 0'37.345, 1'09.993 / B splits : 0'16.776, 0'37.306, 1'09.993)

but I was able to do a little bit better -not better than Glybags'no tuning lap time though- :

Lap time : 1'09.864

splits :
1. 0'16.639 (did a 0'16.4xx once here)
2. 0'37.162 (did a 0'36.9xx once here)
3. 1'09.864 (consequently would be better here if I manage to improve both two splits before which is always the same problem lol)

No tuning.

Haha, I did the same thing during our Mercedes-Benz/Valencia challenge... I ran two 1'57.145s consecutively, one right after the other... first and only time I've done that in a GT game.

My name on your site is exactly my PSN name, so that's fine.

I just got home from the dentist... whole left side of my face is numb. Starving and can't eat yet. :( Gonna run a few laps while I recuperate.
 
Struggling with this car - more understeer than the belly of of buffalo! Can't seem to tune it out either, and without changing gear ratio's that cripples this little Yaris. Aaargghh! Currently stuck at 1'10.226 - if I can cure that understeer should be able to crack into the 1'09's.

Ran another 35 laps, but the closest I came to my old record was 1'09.321, so I'm gonna go ahead and settle with the 1'09.298. Will edit this post to include pic/ghost/vid.

Glubags - sad to see that you won't be competing, but I understand that you'd like to focus your attention to running the series. At least you'll still be involved in some manner!

I'm currently at 1'09.7xx and somewhat stuck. Now I'm trying to experiment on running deeper into the turn to see if I can maybe gain a slight advantage over my previous line(s) - I have to try something (anything!) in an attempt to improve!
 
I run on tsukuba this evening

Lap time : 1'09.197

Splits
T1: 0'16.484
T2: 0'36.795

I think i can reach 1'09.0xx but realy hard to make 1'08.xxx

Fantastic lap, Pitch! 👍 My unintentionally wide line through the second to last corner must have killed more time than I thought, as both my splits on my .298 lap are faster than those, and the last corner is perfect.

I don't have time to go back and improve tonight... maybe tomorrow!
 
It looks like I can't stay away from GTP forums lol. I am planning on creating a 5 day event between the end of Season Two and when Glubags starts up Season Three. More details by friday.
