I only recall Kaz saying open wheel race cars wouldn’t be in the base launch game when asked if there were any, not that they couldn’t or wouldn’t include them in the future.

Hope they’re already modeling Senna’s MP4/4. :D

A lot of people will lose their crap, believe me

Looking closer at the teaser image, that 3rd-gen Supra is a real surprise. I think it was tossed in to complement the R32 GT-R. As for the two Alpines, I always liked the look of the A110. Would be lovely to just cruise in lobbies in one of those.

I'm actually stoked for what appears to be the Mustang Fastback, as it's really one of the few pony cars that I liked in previous GTs. The third cars looks like a GD Impreza, and if it is, I am hoping to see at least one of the Lancer Evos 7, 8 or 9 in the update after this. I love me some Evos :embarrassed:

yep he said only on launch

also, what about more modern F1 as well like the F2004, Renault R26, RedBull RB6, maybe even from last year....

one can only hope...

If kaz able the only one developer get all the right to modern f1 Model from each team. I call him God that would be crazy hard thing he have not done yet. Getting completes open wheel and other dev get one piece car but missing other car. While code master the only dev to get right to make F1 2017. It make GT only game besides official 1game that future completed F1 car if happen.

I know I'm kinda late on this considering pretty much everyone figured out what cars they are, but here are my predictions for the cars that will be in the new update.

I can't wait to try all of these cars out, especially the Pantera, the new Alpine, and the 97T!

Not real sure how people keep coming up with an 04-05 Subaru. Certainly there would be a relection on the gigantic hood scoop.

Is it possible for them to get rights to an old Toyota F1 like a TF105 or TF106 or even the one used by Pirelli for Tyre testing or an old Honda F1. I feel current cars might be a bit more difficult to obtain

I’m glad the 98T is pretty much confirmed.. It’ll probably be extremely expensive to buy and you’ll need quite a bit of luck on your side to get it as a daily workout gift... Although I did get the Jaguar in the daily workout fairly shortly after it was added, so there’s hope...
I’m still hoping they’ll add the X2014jr. at some point as their vision of how a future formula car could look like, maybe slightly updated with a ‘aeroscreen’ (no halo of course). The regular and fan version of the X2014 were a bit too extreme imho so maybe a bit more powerful X2014jr. would be more appropriate :)

I'm glad that the Lotus F1 is going to appear in GT Sport. Because thanks to Livery Editor, we could simply make a livery of every F1 team ever from the late 1980's period then do Online (Lobbies, not sport mode) races with them.

I mean I know there's difference in F1 cars but...I would say a Mclaren livery on the Lotus is the closest thing we would get in GT Sport....probably.

It's not a Cuda but a Challenger (reconizable hood and windows).
All next ok

But Im sure the WRX willbe the Isle of Man version.

I still do not see the MR2 at the bottom. Looks like Porsche on top. Not quit up front and certainly not at the back unless its a Turbo somehow. And a Porsche makes no sense, although we would very much want it.

It also makes me wish we had some long road courses, it's really the only way to properly enjoy some of the road cars in the game.
My biggest dream ever ! Road tracks, like the Eifel, real coast tracks. Schotland, Alps. Just some Autobahn in between. Like Assetto Corsa but created by the developers.

Wait... If that is in fact the Senna car from GT6, this'll be the first Lotus in the launch version of the game...

Rip GTS Evora 2016-2017.

The Lotus brand back then and the one now are not one and the same. Most likely the 97T will therefore appear under a "Gran Turismo" brand.

The Audi R8 will be a retouched version of GT6, so even if it's the V10, it will be N500, not N600.

The Alpine A110 '72 will be N100.

I really hope they improve GT League. In its current state it's boring. You can have more fun if you play arcade mode and customize your racing experience. No championships, no time trails, no drift events, no qualifying. I would prefer new missions and circuit experiences for the campaign mode.
They should take an example from DRIVECLUB with its face-offs and challenges. For example "Don't fall behind position x" or getting a certain lap time for extra rewards.

The 3Rd Gen Supra looks to much like an American firebird, but Kaz had one of these so that is why it's in, shame they should put the twin turbo 2.5 ltr and not the 3.0.
