Elise Normal:
12.931
28.926

Silvia reverse:
9.905
26.122

We're pretty close together with the Silvia, but you're kicking my butt with the Elise! This gives me some motivation to run the crap out of the Elise tonight. I hope I can get close to those times... :nervous:

Still a whole second back from Dan...dammit....I'd better be able to beat him at chess so I have some sanity in my life...lol. Silvia Reverse I need another .3 or so and another .2 in the Elise Forward. We'll see though, I must not be tempted by the 'DS2 Darkside'....I also have some personal stuff going on today, man life is a roller coaster for sure. Happy St. Patty's Day! YES GREEN BEER!!!! WOOOT!!!!!!! Let's Get ****FACED TONIGHT BOYZZZZZZ!!!!!

Sure.
Someone already posted (week 35) a replay where the submitted lap was lap #13.
That's no reason to be DQ'ed as long as the lap is clean and matches the submitted time. Not the best way to make friends with the guy who checks the replay, but legal ;)
In general, I agree with this practice, however only if it's a clearly clean run. If there's a possible wall touch involved and it was a hotlap week, I'd have to say no since there's no way to check the anaylyzer in a full replay save the way you could with everyone else that week.

That's my only reservation about using the full replay as lap time verification.

100% agreed.

So is it the Spec S or Spec R?
Nissan Silvia Spec-R Aero (S15) '99.
Anything else I wrote is a typo, sorry.
The Spec-S has 75hp less than the Spec-R, so there's no way you can reach 304hp with the required parts.

I put on some quality brakes, customizable tranny and improved clutch/flywheel and suspensions and nearly took off a second from my previous times:

ELISE - Reverse - DS2 - Manual Trans. - Division 3 ;)

T1 : 9.756 (-0.242)
T2 : 25.983 (-0.849)

Now, need to find and buy that damn Silvia.

Yep and Rob is there too. :scared:

I hoped I could get an improvement on the Elise too, but no luck. Looks like I topped too early. :dopey:

A very good point.

In my case though, it would have been very easy to verify the lap from the full replay. It was on lap 1, no close calls and no walls anywhere nearby. :)

Luckily I later beat it with 0.009 sec. and need no special treatment afterall. :utterly relief:

Righty-O....had a crack and this is one fun combo...I spent a little longer on the Sylvia lap and I'm still not happy with it. I think I still have 0.2 - 0.4 in that lap to find, the Elise lap is such a sweet lap and I beat my previous best by 0.3, however I still think there is 0.1 - 0.2 left to get, I did over-drift a couple of corners:

### Sylvia (Forward) ###
T1: 0'13.058
T2: 0'29.523

### Elise (Reverse) ###
T1: 0'09.743
T2: 0'25.648

Both laps had excellent finishes which is the main thing I like to get in my laps. Pretty happy so far with a couple of days to go 👍

B O A R D - - - U P D A T E D

Elise Fw
13.121
29.354

Silvia rev.
9.742
26.320

One hell of a difficult combo you choose,Cyril.
One that is complete new for me. 👍

i forgot to post my last splits... they are from wednesday, but i still didn´t had time to get back at this combo...

silvia foward:
13´003
29´167

elise reverse:
9´566
25´287

hopefully today i get some runs to develop a setup...

My first crack at this challenge. Flying around this track is awesome.

All times are roughly 10-15 laps each.

Silvia forward
T1: 0:13.264
T2: 0:29.885

Silvia reverse
T1: 0:09.775
T2: 0:25.953

Elise forward
T1: 0:13.158
T2: 0:29.312

Elise reverse
T1: 0:09.757
(seen 09.5 but horrible line and HELLO WALL)
T2: 0:25.665

made some improvements with that Elise chick.... (forward)
12.994
29.618

Man I'm just wiped out today, I was gonna try and make a vid for Dan and rerace again but that will wait. I will submit a time this week I hope :nervous: I would like to spend another couple hours on it tho to be happy. And I'd like to give props to Andrew (shockwaveracing) for his recent goings on here at GTP, you've really improved as of late dude, great job! And Steve, you too are an alien now IMO 👍

EDIT:
Silvia Reverse - I am still not liking this car because of its tendency to drift as I exit corners. I got my EXACT SAME TIME 2X TONIGHT WITHIN AN HOUR!!! AAAHH!!!!
T1 - :9.838
T2 - :25.972

Elise Forward - Trimmed SOME time at the end, not enough tho....here's my latest and may be my final splits, I'll atleast submit what I have now on Tuesday.
T1 - :12.904
T2 - :28.709

[little kid]Hey Mister[/little kid]

I noticed when you updated the leaderboard that you used my times from the Elise only in both directions.

Silvia reverse
T1: 0:09.775
T2: 0:25.953

Elise forward
T1: 0:13.158
T2: 0:29.312

It shouldn't be long before I get down to that time anyway. 👍

:) No prob, she's all groove-tastic now...was thinking you were super-mighty-quick for D3, still fast but not ultra-scary-fast now (how's that for creative hyphenated word creation...)

Elise Fw
13.009
28.975

Silvia rev.
9.957
26.160

Enough for today,hope to improve some more.

BTW my third sectors are not that good.:grumpy:

This is damned depressing...

I think I peaked on this track on the first day... I've improved my end-time in the Sylvia (Forward) by a good bit (half-a-second off of my old T2 time), using Holl01's setup, but I just can't catch my ghost in the Elise (reverse)...

Sylvia (Forward)
T1: 13.442
T2: 30.028

Elise (Reverse)
T1: 9.923
T2: 26.203

Still haven't broken that "magic" 0'4x.xxx mark at the end of either of those laps...

:sly: OK, everyone should SLOW DOWN so I can win this week. :sly: I think I'll take my F1 car and race it against pickup truck to make myself feel better...

wow you guys are fast.

Just got done running my qualifier lap, so now i can take a crack at this! I got the Elise and Silvia, I just need to trick them out now. 👍

homie montana
wow you guys are fast.
Tip of the day : do NOT compare your times with the fastest times you see here. Instead, look for someone who runs T-times similar to yours and you'll keep enjoying the WRS :D

no worries matey (as some aussie wrs friends would say) - as long as you'll go on coming up with challenging races as you have we will continue enjoying wrs for a very long time.
the division thing is a good one to support what you said. and this comes from a wrs fan that probably would qualify for a div4 should it exist :lol:

Yeah I agree. I try to just look within my division. Makes it easier to take. I love the challenge though, that's what makes me want to continue. Even if I never win I a race, I know my skills are much better now just after 3 races. Also, I am positive I can kick butt when I play with the local friends at home...

When I ran cross-country as a freshman in highschool I spent all my time chasing the fast seniors. By the second year I started to pass them. Proves the point that you should always chase the fast guys. Stay in their shadow long enough and some day you may be as good as them...

Just ran both cars on the reverse track, and saved :
Elise
T1 = 9.815
T2 = 25.544

Silvia
T1 = 10.029
T2 = 26.504

So far my fastest combination is Elise forward + Silvia reverse :
T1 = 13.267 + 10.029
T2 = 29.351 + 26.504

Still don't know if I need to improve these times or if can be faster on the other combo :grumpy:

First 2.5 hours, DS2

Silvia Forward
13.325 :grumpy:
29.796 :grumpy:

Elise Reverse
9.515 👍 👍 (I'm not kidding, it was clean and legal)
25.221

Loving the Elise T1, it was the only time I pulled it the way I want (with a really long drift). Other times launched (literally) me into the wall or drifted into the barrier. T2 is a bit slower than I wanted because I was surprised at the T1 time, so I lost focus.

The Silvia needs work, way too much understeer for me. I can't find a setup I like, even my drifting setup had too much understeer with medium tires. I didn't think it would have this much of a problem, because I drifted it a lot in one of my videos (click my video thread link in my sig, watch gridlock).

55.017 Total. Not bad, the silvia really needs work though...was hoping to get ahead of Casio (used those as my goals) but the silvia is just horrible.

Slightly improved the Elise

T1 = 13.166 + 10.029
T2 = 29.276 + 26.504 = 55.780

I probably will try and save a few extra tenths with the Elise, but I'm done with the Silvia.[/QUOTE]

Now that's creative. Shouldn't be long before I become a scary Div2 driver.

New Sylvia splits for me:

T1: 0'13.058
T2: 0'29.447

Another 0.15 at the line, it's still quite a messy lap and so I think another 0.1 - 0.2 would be nice, If I nailed everything in one lap there's prob another 0.3 but this car is a tricky beast.

I didn't realize this before but my HP on the Elise dropped down to 216 at some point. I didn't think you loose the HP after the first oil change. So I changed the oil a second time and it went back up to 219. why does it do that?

Now that that HP is back up to normal I managed to take of .343 off my time with the Elise. (I hope rumble strips are considered part of the racing surface though)

Elise Forward:
13.139
29.242
