Too easy to judge me from three sentences? Though it is true I will buy the game. But I not delay my pre-order because I am trying to prove a point. And I will always have the money to buy the game, no matter what. So please take your judgmental attitude elsewhere, and allow me to express my opinion.
My opinion is that I hate this world is driven by profits. And to Sony, we are just another unit sold and a few bucks for the shareholders.
And the point of being happy I did not pre-order is, I still have time to reserve my copy of the game.
And my glass half full comment, means I am yet again disappointed to learn, I will have to wait more for a game I have been waiting for since 2007.

Really? In my opinion you're not really presenting a point. And as for my judgmental attitude, I am just expressing my opinion just like you are. And your opinion on the world driven by profits. Do you think anyone likes that? It's just how the world works, man. And I don't think it would be any different anywhere else. We've all been waiting for GT5 for a long, long time. I think everyone should sit back and chill.I dont know which flag to choose

Agreed. I happen to be somewhat lucky, I guess, since my local Gamestop has some guys that are pretty educated in the gaming world. I went in to pre-order GT5, and the guy was like "alright, great choice, it looks like it will be epic. Do you want the Collector's Edition, or the Standard copy". I was just happy that I didn't have to explain that a CE was available, and have to argue with them to prove it. After I told the guy , YES, I want the CE, he said, "yeah, I think every pre-order I have taken has been for the CE. I guess it is because of the anticipation and the long wait". I was just suprised that both of the guys working that day knew as much as they did, being that, they work in a game shop.

See, mine is the same way... and actually, most local GS's are filled with employees who seem to know a fair amount about systems, the exclusives, and things like that. So I've always been confused by the comments about their bad employees. All the stories of no-knowledge, unhelpful sales associates seem more suitable to big stores like Wal-Mart or something, to me.

Sometimes some of the employees don't keep up-to-date with news (or info)/release dates about products at the store as they are busy with other things in their lives (eg. school, other jobs). Sometimes, the businesses themselves don't inform their employees about news (or info)/release dates about products because they are retards.
However, most of the time, it is the employee themselves who are just retards. I myself don't know how they get hired...

I got this morning å new deliverydate for my Gran Turismo 5 collectors edition: 29.11.2010.
Honestly i wouldn't actually believe anything until we get something from sony themselves.
a couple of days after we were told its delayed in the job, we have no idea how but we pulled the 1st of December of our system as the next release date... but i wouldn't believe that either.

At this point I won't even believe what Sony tells us. Man what a screw up they have done.
I really hate to say it (since I love GT) but Sony and Kaz are looking like failures. I honestly believe that all this stuff that has been going on (Japan delay, Kaz saying the game was basically done, eight months later and now the OFFICIAL delay) that it will factor in to some of the review scores. It shouldn't I know but I do think some people will look at the game more closely. And scrutinize the game for it.

How is that possible for anyone to believe ( like Jesus descended Earth ) what your local hardware stores' own estimated release date for GT5, when words from the man himself (aka Kaz) can't even be trusted...

Whilst I agree with others that we should treat any dates as unreliable unless confirmed by Sony/PD. However if Sony/PD want to max sales of GT5 & the PS3 then end of November would be the perfect date. The simple reason is the end of November is the peak period of xmas shopping.
I hope we hear soon of a definate date because if GT5 is released at the end of November I won't bother buying COD black ops. However if the date is near xmas then I probably would.

Trust me I would much rather have GT5 released at the beginning of November and miss out playing COD. The truth is im bored stiff at the moment with the games im currently playing (F1 2010, FM3). All im saying is if GT5 is released near xmas I don't think my current games will see me through to this period and I would need another game i.e COD black Ops.
