I refuse to believe it will be out by xmas until I see it sitting on a shelf. PD also though it would be done last year, then this past march, then 11/2.

Them saying they think it will be done this year means nothing to me, and I dont believe that it will be out this year. Ive been saying spring 2011 for about a year now, and never believed it would actually come out on 11/2, so im sticking to my prediction until they actually prove me wrong.

Its a long shot but i work for hmv and they started taking preorders today with the date of 1st december. I figure they probably know less than we do but i guess its a good guide as to when it might be expected, if sony want to make loads of money off gt5 and avoid black ops that date kinda fits in between black ops and christmas.

Well my good wife called into gamestation to check my preorder was still good,And the stroke of luck is there was a sony rep in at the same time. He said delay due to copy protection. Game to be released last friday of november or first friday of december.

After reading this, I agree with anyone who predicted a spring 2011 release.

That's without question one of the most misleading headlines i've seen on a gaming website in recent memory. Kaz says that when all of the effects are happening on screen and you're in the back of a 16 car field the framerate might dip below 60fps. And then they somehow take that and turn it into "GT5 still not 60fps".

But that framerate issue isn't going to change. But he makes the point that it's going to be so minor that it really isn't an issue.
