I wondered about that - whichever car I have selected appears in a mini cutscene just before they go to log out of the game (first screen with GT Home and Arcade modes etc in it) - quite often that cutscene is one of the photo travel locations that we apparently cannot take a standard vehicle into...👍 We need these standard cars to be allowed in Photo travel My NSX Type S looks amazing in the screen saver photo location.![]()
Those Golf looking things @ around 3:48, are they new?? I've never seen 'em before. Someone please enlighten me, thanks!![]()
no they don't... I suggest you buy yourself new hears... DN...
This is more insulting than rewarding. I just cant belive.
I just can say too lame and too expensive. No new cars (just RM versions of existing cars) and just one (and great) new track is all what PD can offer to us and all that for really decent amount of money (...money for nothing). Thanx PD, but no thanx.
So definitely one more reason to save my money and get X360 and FM4.
P.S. I expected PD will make my desidion to get X360 more harder but it seems that they just easen it massively.
Except they do sound the same in the game. I suggest you replicate it with a saved replay. Then change the camera view. Like in real life, a car's "engine sound" (really it is the exhaust) will sound remarkably different depending on the listener's location (camera). So comparing how a car "sounds" while racing to how it sounds from another camera view, it will always sound different - as it should.
So where the hell is Pikes Peak???? Why doesn't someone find out the answer to this? Why is no one talking to the people that wrote the article, or the driver from the article.
It's like all the info went into the Bermuda Triangle!

More the symptoms of shambolic marketing and PR.
Pikes Peak may well turn up as DLC, but part of me thinks we will see the 25 GT4 tracks first.
Probably it will be featured in the next overpriced "track pack" together with a minor "half (or even quarter) track".
I can see it coming.
I don't think we will get those either. One year and we get one track to race cars on. One year! I think that if the old tracks were going to be included they would have released them months ago.
I think they have a lot more ready than they are willing to let on. Perhaps GT6's content is all ready barring full interiors for all cars and PD are working on the next generation of Gran Turismo for the PS4?
You wish. Unfortunately, we've seen how long it took them to create GT5 so this isn't a massive change in pace.
same with hockenheim..
the german site "autopresse.de" said some time ago that they tested the sls first on the real hockenheim track and then on the virtual..

beyond angry and annoyed at the fact that FM4 gets Jeremy Clarkson's reviews on like each of the cars when you go to purchase them. WOW I would so pay for that add on for the dealer... smh *cryingface*
No trolling with Forza, but a very intersting Dan Greenwalt interview here ont this french website (it's in english with french subtitiles...)
http://www.gameblog.fr/news_25400_forza-4-dan-greenawalt-interview-communaute-gameblog
He answer questions from the community and there is many interesting things to put in perspective with GT5.
There is 350 people working on Forza and they spend the most of developement time on the lightning engine.
Pirelli gave them all the tyre data.
They "spy" the players, using users data to analyse what cars are the most in use to choose cars to be implemented next...
He thinks a track generator is not really interesting because it will be too limited.
If the track generator is unlimited, users gonna make real tracks. That wil cause licensing issues and they must moderate those creations.
Nope. No company would do that - lighting takes time...to bake. Leaving it overnight would be the thing to do, but they're not that high quality / resolution anyway.350 Forza devs, they spend most of the time on the lighting engine
sounds good. Apart from the Bridgestone-shod cars. It'd be naiive to think that there would be no bias from a tyre corporation at all...pirelli gave them the tyre data.
I (Dan) haven't played anything made with a tweakable track generator that's been published online. Or I'm (Dan) not allowed to say I have.track generator not interesting
And the market for paid DLC will dry up unless they release something spectacular.if it was unlimited, there's be lisencing issues
Maxitsuhe probably thinking...$€£Y$ yes yes yes...
Having always owned Playstations and GT's and never had an XBox... there are definetly some things I would kill for to have in GT.
Namely all the Aussie cars, GT Hardtopbeing the No1 and the W427 HSV, V8 Supercars.
But yes the JC voiceovers and the AutoVista look pretty sweet:tup:.
So as of 2 days ago I have bought a near new Xbox 360 of a mate and F4 will be here this afternoon.
Part of me thinks we will see the 25 GT4 tracks first.
You mean 27: https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?p=5143936#post5143936 (at the bottom of the post).
Also, I'm just wondering, but how come Forza 4 has Infineon Raceway, Twin Ring Motegi and Suzuka West while GT5 doesn't? And those tracks appeared in GT4!!
http://forzamotorsport.net/en-us/Tracks/TrackList.aspx
These tracks should be as future DLC!
