One thing is for sure...with the high demand the servers will be slow and may even crash...they slowed down after Vettel won the Championship.

they need to have these big updates annually and forget about gt6 on ps3..if they can update physics and cars through an update just keep doing that cause it doesn't seem likely they can enhance the graphics anymore than what it is now. They would have to build a whole new engine for that, so leave GT6 for ps4, work on it now so we won't have to wait 4-5 years after ps4 is out to play next gen GT.

I think that would be the ideal route to take.

Might see them do 1 Gran Turismo per PlayStation, with yearly updates and DLC, Strange idea I know, but with development times as massive as they are I wouldn't be very surprised :)

I have a great way of testing the new physics, using the only car I drive.. My popular, recognizable Turquoise LP670-4 SV. I've used the car 324 times, as that is how many changes it says it has when looking at it in the garage.

Agree with this. I would be satisfied with big updates and DLC for a few years.

Please, PD, haven't you done enough delays already? Why not:
A. Become more efficient and have better management within your company
B. Be a little less ambitious with your release dates
C. Just get on with GT6 and tell us nothing about it. Keep it secret.

We are fed up waiting. :(

Wow. One day. With all the differences in time zones, for some people it's still the 10th (like me, it's only 4pm).

PD hasn't delayed this update at all.

that's what i'm saying, as long as they've extracted as much power out of teh system there's no point in making another game on the same system, especially now that we can add content via online, they can continue building the game that way. To me, GT3 and GT4 was not much of a jump, it just had more content, it didn't look that different.

I agree on the annual updates. GT5 Spec 3.0 this time next year.

Then (if Earth is still here) GT5 Spec 4.0 this time next year to coincide with a Forza Motorsports 5 release (that'll be an interesting one).

Then GT6 in 2014!

Sounds like a plan, stan! :)

I'm happy enough with Spec updates over new games as long as this doesn't become "Vision Gran Turismo" concept and, pratically, make you build the game from a marketplace of cars and tracks but, rather, expands features, adds more to A-spec, gives more tuning and customisation options and so on.

No they can make it lot better, don't have to make new engine just polish GT5 will nice enhancments and fix the problems. They should make another game. Everything cannot be fixed with updates, patch

but that was handled by PD's servers. All updates are handled by Sony servers.
we will probably see slowdown, but that's not a good reference.

Your maths off a little. 3.5 hours.

I'm glad this isn't patched like GT5P... although, some Sony games did use that method even after GT5P.
