Part of me wants to get excited. But the other part of me remembers that this is PD we are talking about here.

I would lower my expectations.

Well, 1.127262542417 to 2.0 is a rather hefty jump, so it'll be interesting to see what kind of improvements we get.

Although, I'm disappointed at DLC (if it's paid). Hopefully it won't rip people off too much.

I'll be a bit miffed if the DLC is paid stuff. My card doesn't work on-line. Are there other ways to get DLC? PSN gift vouchers perhaps?

Oh and the one thing I want added above all else is the ability to choose weather and time in offline practice modes.

amar212 is saying that it will be awesome and had some hints of what to expect, and that guy has been pretty accurate with information about GT5.

I am expecting Spec 2 will bring back old favorite tracks from previous GT games and use those tracks for new A and B specs events. Also Spec 2 should fix a few more things (bugs), convert some standards to premiums ('97 Supra, '65 Alfa, and other legendary cars) 24h Daytona race (night racing at Daytona is a must), in race saves for endurance races, and hopefully some more request.

I believe the DLC will include some new "Real" tracks (Spa), and probably 20 new cars to the GT series.

Please, PD, '93 Mustang and '11 Mustang GT500

I want some more German cars. Preferably this concept DTM car:

Im just hoping that PD doesnt join Activision and start milking GT series with overpriced DLC. Its unlikely to happen, but you never know. Im willing to pay for DLC up to a certain point. As for Spec 2.0, it would be amazing if they fixed the exaggerated draft. This is my #1 wish for GT5.

Yep thats how I do it. I'm not giving them my credit card.

Yes!!!!!!!!

I knew it was coming, just when i was starting to get slightly bored of GT5 as well, i don't care that you have to pay for DLC like some others, PD has given us nearly 11 months of free seasonal events and updates (which i more that can be said for any other games I own, codemasters being the worse for updates!) so they fully deserve my money for some DLC.

As much as there's loads of cars I would want in the game, it's more tracks im really looking forward to and hoping for.

And yes you can buy PSN cards from any games stores or supermarkets

Ah I see, no value of money does this boy have.

Believe me, I wouldn't mind having my parents buy my video games ;) Is it really a problem if I want to buy all the dlc possible? Kinda like when Russian tourists go fishing here in Finland. They loot the whole fishing section, even echo sounders, just to get a few fishes.

it's up to you mate.

I was genuinely astonished when you said you will buy DLC even if you don't like it.

Never heard of that before.

Peace.

Something else (last one, I promise), making tracks paid DLC without introducing a match-making system online would be a bad move. You'd have people in lobbies unable to play with other people, which wouldn't be fair on them.

Nope, same way they do Custom tracks. Loading times may increase a bit but it can be done.

Don't think PD are afraid to make bad decisions TBH.

I think it will be free anyhow.
