GT's economy well fits the normally priced cars, but is made completely ridiculous by the cars costing MILLIONS of Credits. I don't want events that pay Cr. 250,000 (GT5 Seasonals), because then it makes a mockery of the Mazda RX-7 (and other sub Cr. 200,000) that I'm driving and tuning.

It would be much more effective if they expanded the Career Mode and honored the Cr. 2,000,000+ credit cars as prize vehicles. I don't mind being paid to race, but not the same races over and over and over again. Sure some races pay out Cr. 40,000+, but does anyone really want to repeat a handful of races 500 times? Does it add anything positive to the game or to gameplay for that matter, or does it simply transform your GT experience into a greedy, money grubbing bore-fest?

I'd like to have an appreciation for the cars that I've worked for (highly paid Seasonals destroy this) and play for the pleasure of driving (grinding for millions of credits vehicles annihilates this).

I agree to having the 2M+ cars as prices for challenging series of races. The GT economy is just right, 2M+ cars should be hard to get.

Just played 2 races in the GT3 career event, wow  now that was good racing, The rolling 2 aside start was brilliant and loved the race, AI was very good aswell.

Go on and try it guys.
The AI In IA are especially good. I came in 2nd place in the GT300 championship using the c-west Silvia, albeit it is the slowest and cheapest GT300.

Yeah I used a tuned GTR GT3 but it was so much fun.

Hey guys, just wondering, is the Acura NSX 2013 concept really naturally aspirated? I only have 2 mil and I don't want to splurge 1 million just to find out, especially when I still got IB, IA, and S events to finish and many cars to purchase.

Because all over the interwebs, reports are saying the car's engine is turbocharged.

Confirmed all the dealership previews are super low-rez versions. Think of it like going to your local dealership, and, instead of a bunch of cars, the had GT6 demos of their cars.

No patch today so far. I'm starting to feel unloved.

Here's one.

Seriously?! Are we really getting more BMWS!? If so, YEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSS!!! Please one of them be an 8 Series or F10 M5.

Well, it said BMW Group, which includes Mini, Rolls-Royce and Triumph (and Husqvarna too, but I don't think any of their cars will make it to GT6).

****, forgot about the 8 series. I hope it gets added. I've been looking for a used 850CSi for years and haven't found one :(
I driven it only in FM4 & GT2, but it's not enough; I must have it in a modern GT game.

You say that as if dozens upon dozens of seasonal events and series aren't going to be coming out in the near future. Probably after January.

or does it simply transform your GT experience into a greedy, money grubbing bore-fest?

You say that as if Daddy Kaz isn't going to soon implement the PP compensator that was released in GT5's waning days. In my opinion, that's the correct way to reward people and it probably will be in GT6.

I don't mind people griping about the game, but it's been out for a week. It isn't expected of you to conquer the game and have zillions of dollars yet. Nobody has any right to be complaining about lack of money yet.

Anyone notice how sensitive off track is? Barely go off and you're backwards. Also, the stupid AI keeps spinning me out. Makes the NASCAR races irritating and makes that blind spot indicator more of a warning. Talk about stuck to your line. They will shove you out of their way. Luckily they're stupid still.

Revenge of the (stupid) AI.

For over 15 years, we all have abused of the rabbits,
bouncing off of them, pushing them, leaned on them, cut them of, shoved them out of the way... this year, they have come in force, learning from your worse habits and showing you how it feels to be disrecpected.

It's not necessarily you, but we all have done it, and now we all are going to endure it.

So I do the Mercedes Vision seasonal...
...rack up 384 miles on the car practicing to work down to a 107.265 lap...
...scraped and banged a couple of walls in process (very easy to do on this Matterhorn configuration).

End result: 50K credits, 1 paint chip minus the 500K credits I will have to pay to restore rigidity.
So I guess I need to pay 450K credits for the privilege of running in Seasonal TTs now?

I use a wheel, no aids, no ABS, pretty careful, and I don't usually play bumper cars...
I managed to gold 49 out of 50 Licenses in GT5, qualified for WRS D3 Gold as well.

This is my 3rd high-end car in as many days with less than 400 miles requiring rigidity restoration.
So I will just sell this Merc. Vision back for 300K credits and ditch future participation in this TT.

Something is seriously out of whack.
I am still hoping it is a case of new game that needs tweaking...
...otherwise it can only be explained as corporate greed with the debut of micro-transactions.

I have no problem whatsoever paying for DLC content, I bought every DLC for GT5.

I also posted this in the Body Rigidity Deteriorates Way To Fast Thread.

EDIT (Addition):

I think this becomes more of an issue once you get up into the International A/Super levels because of the cost required to restore high-end cars.

Once more people get up into these levels, they will experience this first-hand.

I found it quite easy to gold the lap. I think I did it second time with no practice.

It will show in the dealership with either a T or NA under Aspiration. You won't need to purchase it to find out.

Thats the main series I play. +/-50K each race and the AI will out brake you. Driving smoothly gets you a race with the AI to the last turn on the last lap of each race. Good stuff.

Actually the gold time was a snap because the bar is set so low at 1:13.
So it took me some more miles to shave the time down by almost 6 more seconds to 107:265 using a wheel, no aids/0 ABS.

Unfortunately SRF is forced on for this event too, I usually do better with it off.
Have you tried to take that car for a spin with 0 ABS around Matterhorn?

I am curious about your settings and time for the TT.
