Speaking of the Deltawing I wonder what you will be put up against if you drive it in arcade mode
What? With the one race that I saw, I thought there was a problem that kept it from staying in the race for a good spot, but ended up with a respectable place (at a fast pace.) I can't recall what series it was, but it happened when at practice it got crashed into by a Porsche (ewww). It's first 'meaning' was to be the new Indycar that got ditched for the dallara DW12. Then it had nowhere to go so they applied and received the garage56 entry last year at LeMans.
It ran once at LeMans and dnf'ed. Then ran in the 'lmp' class at Petit LeMans the same year and was nowhere near lmp1 pace, just like this year in ALMS, if it even finishes
Wasn't the DeltaWing meant to run with that sort of car? You know, half the weight and half the power of a regular race car but just as fast.
It ran once at LeMans and dnf'ed. Then ran in the 'lmp1' class at Petit LeMans the same year and was nowhere near lmp1 pace, just like this year in ALMS, if it even finishes, it's barely faster than GTE
It got hit because Nakajima couldn't see it. The size and (lack of) color made it hard to spot for lots of the drivers. You didn't mention that, though.post...
That's it! I remember that.Well, more like supposed to run about with LMP2.
False. It raced "unclassified" last year. Only this year did it become a P1 car.
Funny how you don't mention its only reason for DNF at Le Mans, which was courtesy of a certain driver's lack of Spatial awareness
Matterhorn track pics:Oh hell yeah. Why not?

Hardly worth noting since he was apparently the only driver that didn't "see it"
Your point is...? Delta never was intended for the "GT CLASS!!!!"I did not mention LMP1 did I? I mentioned GT CLASS!!!!
He wasn't the 'only one'. It was involved in at least one other incident. Drivers complained about it. Nakajima couldn't see it because the reasons I mentioned, plus his focus was on the lead of the biggest race of his career and the front fenders create somewhat of a blind spot for the lmp1 drivers in coupes. Oh and btw, Panoz raced 'unclassified' officially, but his own words were to enter it in "lmp1". Kinda shooting for the stars with that one. Reminds me of his Abruzzi GTE attempt
I saw some video of it getting crashed by a Porsche. I think it was on Road AtlantaWhat? Back on topic folks.

Does this guy even know how to aply the brakes?
Or does he think he is playing Mario Cart?
@ Racecar, I don't expect perfect driving but come on, this is the other end of the spectrum.
Most likely recorded with a cantalope.
