How is it possible to make it so? Please tell me!! Why don't u want people to play your game??Race A would massively benefit from a race every 10 minutes at the length it's at. Making it a 12 minute wait til the next one is a.. choice.

I dislike losing more than anything, so I just drive the car that works on a given track and just force myself to get used to it. It’s better for the overall skill set to learn different cars and styles too, over the long run. I can pretty near jump into any car at this point and be up to speed within a short time, because I’ve always forced myself to adjust, instead of just staying in my safe place. Just look at each car as a tool, sometimes you need the screwdriver, sometimes you need the hammer, but they all have a time and place to use each. You’re not gonna leave the Phillips screw driver in the truck at work, because you don’t like Phillips screws are you? You’re gonna use the right tool for the job. 👍
Went for a rip in the WRX around Deep Forrest Reverse, hadn’t driven it backwards yet. I like it though, maybe even better than the other way around lol. Got down to a 1:32.5 by the end of the session, might have to do a few of these this week, I like the track.
I'm going to try my luck at Mt. Panorama this week. It was one of my favorite races during the World Series Test Season I did. Granted, it was in Gr.4 cars, but I remember some good racing from GT Sport in the Gr.3 cars. However, I cannot seem to find any decent pace no matter the cars I tried. I did set a time of 2:05.0XX in the Vantage of all things. I'll keep at it tomorrow and try some more cars and see what works for me as I really don't want to use the Beetle.
Good to be back at a track I am competitive at. Ran one race C and qualified 5th in a room of a few A+ and remainder were A drivers. Ran a 2.04.01 in the beetle BUT optimal in the Z4 was a 2.03.4. I raced with the z4.
Tried a few cars, I clearly like a planted rear end so the Mercedes works for me. The mustang felt horrible and so did the jag and the vantage. Its pretty clear you need to avoid using tc so anything with a lively rear end I was terrible in.
The z4 really works, sounds epic and I only need tc1 at the cutting . Worth a try I tells ya.
Depends on the sanctioning body and the race class. For example, SCCA Road Racing is probably the closest to the Gran Turismo Federation (or whatever it's called) to be found in North America, and that requires that passive restraint systems be completely removed in higher classes, and lower, pure street car based classes (such as what Race A would be), the passive restraint systems (including airbags) must be deactivated and can be removed, but don't have to be.A random question. In real races like Race A in road cars are the airbags removed ?
I know they don't fit race cars with airbags because they have better safety features but was wondering if some road cars races, like if Race A were real, do they have airbags?
Great time. I’m really struggling with the hairpin. I used Mistah’s guide and he’s nearly half a second up on my sector 1 but I’m quicker than him through the rest. If I can match his sector 1 I can get a 32.4. Currently 32.8.
Are you taking the hairpin like this?
Im not a fan of Bathurst either. Bathurst for me is like Monaco. A challenging track at every corner, a track with a deep history that you can’t really remove from a race calendar. It could be an excellent track if they removed the walls and made the track wider in a few places. Not a big fan of Bathurtst two here, don't know what it is, the track does just not feel fine to me but i will give it a try, maby it will grow on me, has happend before with other track.
Race C i think i will prob run not much, but A seems like fun.
Last week A on the Nurunberg GP was a real blast, i had so much fun with the lower powerend sliding BRZ and got quite good with it, so i'll think a start with A :-)
And that's exactly what shouldn't happen... If a car is OP on 1 or 2 routes... well, not nice but can happen.... only here it is now that the Beetle is always OP. Stupid balancing.... I am still of the opinion that with the available BB there would be a lot more rotation.I posted yesterday that the DBR9 and Corvette were competitive at Bathurst. This was based on the qualy times I did and the first few races where I was at the pointy end all race.
Today I weakened and tried the Beetle to see what qualy I could post.
I apologize. Even in my hands the Beetle is OP. Within 6 laps I knocked 1.5 seconds off my time in the DBR9. I am now in the 2:01.9s.
I did a race in it and I am turning race trim laps faster than my optimal qualy times in the other cars. This is utterly ridiculous. I won my last race by 20 seconds. Nothing else seems able to compete.
On the upside, it seems my overall pace at Bathurst is pretty good this week.

I had the same experience last week in the Daily C. I almost exclusively used the DB9. The whole week was basically a wash with it as I passed some cars and got passed by some cars with two P3 finishes... which when racing other As and A+s is about what I expect. Really wanted to win one but it wasn't happening.I posted yesterday that the DBR9 and Corvette were competitive at Bathurst. Yes, I’ve since learned all the best times are using the handbrake. In fact their whole laps are hacky messes. Constant locking up and skidding. Nothing ‘sim’ about the way to get the best times on this game it seems, just bodge the physics which takes a lot of skill in itself of course but it just looks weird. That said I can definitely take that hairpin better!I watched one of the top 10 times yesterday (I think it was #9) and he used the e-brake round that T3! Then, in a lobby the guy I was directly behind was doing the same thing. Not something I am going to try as I know I'd not be consistent enough with it, but it worked for them.
Simple solution to stop that would surely have some tyre wear?Yes, I’ve since learned all the best times are using the handbrake. In fact their whole laps are hacky messes. I still don't like how the game works as far as downshifting to a super low gear in order to help the car rotate. As we've all seen, go into the apex 'too fast' and just ram the car in 1st in order to divebomb the front, lighten the back, and get rotation. You'll see guys take a 3rd gear turn, drop it into 1st, then immediately upshift back into 3rd for the exit. I am no real GT3 driver, but they can't be doing that or the engine and trans wouldn't last a lap, let alone a whole race. You can't just drop gears when the car is going too fast for that gear; the rev limiter doesn't work like that. The limiter keeps the engine from revving by cutting fuel, when you just downshift now the tires are pushing the drive-train and engine and not the other way around.Yes, I’ve since learned all the best times are using the handbrake. Wasn't this an issue in GTS as well? I never watch top ten times but I occasionally watch track guides and haven't noticed any of those fine people do it, at leastYes, I’ve since learned all the best times are using the handbrake. Not alone. That’s why it’s mandatory to spin tires/do donuts/ whip shi**ys. 🍻.I have a very small but very persistent gripe. Why oh why does a big full screen banner pop up at the end of warm-up but you still retain “control” of the car? I know there is no consequence, but it is so jarring to routinely run off track because you can’t see anything.
Is this just me?
Many salty individuals.Who’s it upsetting?
Tbh nah, it was bad before and it was bad after, the meta has just shifted.I think the BOP was a lot better before the physics update.
But suddenly the physics change but all setups remain. BOP goes out the window.
Jesus that is fast. Can you give the Z4 a run for me? I really like the car but I am ham fisted on the gas and she is quite grippy but I think you can get into the 2's with it.I apologize. Great summary of the circuit. I wish people would recognize that trying to overtake through the chase is madness. It almost always results in contact and one or both cars off track.Jesus that is fast. Can you give the Z4 a run for me? Surprised how many people in this thread cannot gel with Bathurst. You need to see it as two tracks, one from turn 2 (Griffins) to forrest's elbow and the other from the elbow to turn 2. There's no passing across the top unless driver ahead makes a significant error, keep is clean and smooth. Passing relies on an excellent exit out of Forrest's elbow and turn 1. Do NOT get trapped on the outside into Turn 2, it rarely works and get you get burnt.
The Chase? Nah one can pass there if both drivers behave. I have passed both on the inside and outside, biggest issue is folks don't leave enough room to go 2 wide through the right hand kink, inside man always drifts too far left.Great summary of the circuit. I will try the Z4 on my next stint in about 9 hours. Stay tuned.
