I was disappointed when they cutted in GT7.My first Sports races were at the last Daytona week (when they buried tuning after that) and it was a hell lot of fun with 20 cars

Is anyone else having issues with the game? Since 7 o’clock EST last night it’s been offline for me. It could be my internet tho. I restarted my modem, my ps4 and it still says it’s offline.

I currently have a good Wi-Fi connection on my iPhone.
I also tested my internet connection on my PS4 and it says it’s connected. This is irritating to say the least.

Had some terrific racing in the top 6 of DR A at Monza. People working together consolidating position and not trying to overtake at dumb places, namely the chicanes. This game can really shine at times.

Yes they could do that but that would make sense.
What will happen is all the sport mode races next week will be no DR/SR change so that the streamers and aliens can play on their main accounts with no worries and enjoy their A+ races, whilst everyone else "races" against all the idiots. Also it's a school holiday here in the UK next week, what a good week for the "relaxed" unranked races, that will have either no contact penalties or the same system as now (so almost no penalties). They may as well just turn off the wall penalties and shortcut penalties and let them find all the exploits because that would be fun (to them anyway).

GT Sport had 24 players in some of the FIA races, the more the merrier. My last race on N24 Manu, 11pm EST slot on Friday only had 12 people...
At least let us turn it up in custom races. I'll sacrifice resolution and occasional frame drops for 60 car multi-class endurance races on N24. It's the best track, yet 20 cars spread out over 25 km can get lonely at times. PS5 can easily handle more cars than PS4, why not let us take advantage of the better system by allowing more cars in offline races.

I’d don’t think they’d be that stupid but I wouldn’t be surprised if they just mirror the standard dailies exactly. It may be a desperate attempt to get the esport names back into dailies as currently they only turn out for the GTWS, and sometimes not even then as the game kept crashing and hitting their DR.Yes they could do that but that would make sense.

To be honest I really don't get why there isn't cross platform on daily races. It's not like anyone uses that warm-up time seriously anyway so it hardly makes a difference if it's used as a loading buffer for PS4 users. It's there for championships so.. ??

Ran a couple B races. I started 12th in both of them. In the 1st one, I finished 8th. Not a bad run, overall. But a 0.5 second penalty cost me a position. The 2nd race was much better. I finished 2nd in that one due to other drivers getting penalties and a couple more spinning out coming out of the chicanes. I kept it cool the whole race and drove rather conservatively. There was one instance where I was coming up to Roggia. I hit the brakes are the perfect spot and went cruising past the driver in front of me. I guess they hit the brakes a little too late and had to stay in a straight line to keep from going into the off-track area and chancing a penalty. So I cruised on by at the 1st left on the chicane and continued on. My laps were fairly consistent as far as time, but the time, itself, wasn't the best. I was in a car I haven't driven in a while, SLS AMG GT3, so I wasn't completely used to its characteristics. It's geared pretty low so I was having to go down an extra gear to keep from being too slow coming out of corners/chicanes. It's a pretty stable car, though. So it made it easy to drive a bit harder than normal.

I did race B twice for the waily dorkout (4 star ticket, passed the engine to land on a suspension I already had for that car)
Apparently BS penalties still exist. The race went great, contact free fun battle with a Corvette until lap 4 where a GT-R bumped me over the second chicane, costing me 2 spots. Then the GT-R bumped another car off at Lesmo 2, which slowed him, he shot over my line for inconsequential contact but the penalty system put the blame on me for the car that went off. 2 sec penalty. The GT-R got nothing for both incidents. Add another second at Ascari for turning in early to avoid that same GT-R that was hanging on my bumper.
The incidents start at 6:25, great race before that.
The second race I did went better. I finished 7th for a whopping 10K payout. A Supra won, the rest were all WRX in that room

The daily races next week can't be any worse than the ones we've had this week, apologies if your good at Monza i'm just terrible round there for my driver rating.

I don't know how it's done, at first I thought it was the PSN menu glitch, but he starts at the back not the front so that doesn't make sense.
He basically starts at the back, & everyone is stuck in the countdown phase for basically half a lap while he's able to drive by everyone & get a minute ahead.
Maybe it'll be more common this week, but worth keeping an eye out for (top split lobbies this was in)

They seriously didn't even add a new slot? They just gimped an existing daily race?? Like, come on man. It's already boring as hell having only 3 choices to race competitively for an entire week. Now it's two.
Who is making these decisions lmao. I'd have added a 4th one with cross platform enabled to keep the playerbase alive there.
