Many Thanks. Yes, I had counted on times around 7 minutes.. I even see the aliens at least at 6.45-6.50.
Then I have to make myself a bisl long. Had a few laps practiced last week and was ~7.06 with the WRX with room to improve.
The GT-R was pretty restless for me right away in S1 and then in S8 and in the carousel it seemed very stiff... but it seems to be a bit faster than the WRX... well, there's still some time.

Nevermind. Did a 1:41:333 afterwards. Started a race as a C driver (happened yesterday i guess) agains B and C. Started in front. Gained time fast. 9 seconds in front binned it in the last corner. One with 1 second left.
Dont think i can go any faster. Maybe already the highlight of the week. :-)

I bet that some pages later the Alfas are coming... Motto: for a good result you don't have to be the fastest. You just have to "meet" enough other cars on the track. Preferredly in the turns and corners... 😬

I prefer to just start from P1 - P3 and then drive away from the field if possible... then you rarely have to accept Alfs in the rear-view mirror

A is BoP 2001 Porsche 911s around Maggiore East End, 7 laps, sports hards
B is Gr3 at Sardegna Road A, 4 laps, racing hards
C is Gr4 at the Nordschleife, 2 laps, racing hards, 1x fuel and tyre wear, no weather.

Why dont they enable dynamic weather for online-races? Its a yoke. A YOKE

Apparently they cant have static weather for qualy and dynamic for race. So it would mess up qualy with dynamic weather.

Yea, I'd be happy with any of those. Basically, anything but the GTR/Alfa/WRX. GTR still looks strong, but I wonder how much of that is people start with that and go from there. Ultimately, all of the above would be great so people are using different cars based on their own preferences/driving habits!

Chuffed to finally pick up my 10th GT7 win and all those laps grinding Sardegna in single player actually paid off as well in a competitive setting.
The Mustang is a beast around here.
Others will improve during the week I'm sure or this could really inflate my DR beyond it's natural level, I am not typically a race winner in DR B

Well if you qualify, you start further up. You don't gain anything for passing people, only for finishing position.
For gaining DR, not qualifying is a handicap.

Monday is Race A day!
Well, at least for me.😉
Lunchbreak, did some Q laps and went into a race. My Q time was position 101 worldwide at that very moment, so... maybe a pole position? Nope, P4, with two A+ Drivers ahead, and several other A drivers on the grid. Good start, but then I had to avoid P3 who was fishtailing, and because of that ignored my own N°1 Race A rule, which says: "Thou shalt always stay on the inside in the first hairpin!" Well, as to be expected, someone shot me straight into the barrier. P11 now, I'm on the hunt, see the others decimate each other, carnage everywhere, and finish P5 (or P6, whatever).
Mayhem and good fun.
On to the real races next.
