It got dirty again. Typical, just gets dirtier the higher the SR. Lot of blocking and bumping from an SR S driver, sending me back to SR B
. You go faster if you stop staring in the mirror to mirror block every move the car behind is making... He was brake checking mid corner as well. Then he calls me trash at the end lol. (I did push him off after I finally out weaved him, my patience is not endless)PD needs to do something or all the clean drivers will leave again, either to lobbies (when they finally get fixed) alt accounts or to other games. The lobbies in the early hours (2am - 7am) aren't too bad. If you have a decent quali time you'll have a fairly easy top 3 finish. For example my 1.40.3 in race b puts me 8th to 12th in a A/A+ lobby during the day but after 2am I'm in top 3, usually with B/C DR, A/B SR etc......only downsides are race might be a bit boring as you've only got 1 or 2 other drivers to battle with. And if you make a mistake the lower ranked drivers might make passing more difficult than you'd hope. The drivers you have to be wary of imo are the ones with DR - A SR - A/B....
Also i might be wrong about this but i think you gain DR if you finish Top5 even if you don't beat someone with a higher DR

So far this hasn't been conclusive to me. P4 and P5 are my most common finishing positions since I'm in the higher DR B ranks. My progress bar has barely moved for weeks now, at maximum two pixels up or down. When I'm in lobbies with A drivers, and fail to beat them, it usually doesn't go up, even when I've finished P4 or P5.

Happier with this one than my win. A rare clean race starting midpack, some wheel-to-wheel action and I kept pace with the Bs.
Definitely getting faster, though it is very track-dependent - I was seconds off even the C pace at Nurburgring GP and Dragon Tail. Trying to get up to B before the next cup season begins.
EDIT - that Youtube thumbnail is very misleading - the WRX put himself in the wall with no help from me, I am a gentleman!

Yeah, I’m making the point that many of us assume the racing gets better the higher up you can get. Niknak’s already explained several times here that that’s not necessarily the case. Though if that other guy in your vid is really an A+ it makes you wonder (drink, drugs?...)
We just need penalties to make the experience better for everyone.

Just had a really fun race with my second account. Started P2 and finished P2 so nothing to brag about really 🤣
But it was a fun, clean race and battle for the lead from start to finish. Swapped positions a few times with zero contact and plenty of space/ respect between the both of us 🙂 Wish I had the same experience in the A Lobbies with main account...
At least I got fastest lap in this race so maybe just a little, tiny brag 🤪😎

That’s the trouble I had, end up with 2 accounts on the same split. I’ve had two game freezes again today so the 2nd account is coming in handy for all the disconnects. Don’t know what’s going on. I’ve deleted and reinstalled the game, clear temp files all the time. Getting on my nerves.

Crap, sorry to here bro. I haven't had any crashes but the general lag is killing the fun! Even if everyone has green bars, you see cars jumping from side to side all the time!
On time I had a mustang show 0.2 behind on my right. Come turn 1 he suddenly appears in front of me on the left, mid-corner!! Nothing i could do and I apologized after the race, which he was fine with at least. But damn! 😤🙄

I don't usually take the time to pull video clips, but I was on this race for another thread... so here are some highlights of the very clean racing between the two of us on my second account. The amount of fun you can have in this game is 100% dependent on who you're racing with.

The one race that didn’t break for me today was really good as well. Started 3rd against some really quick guys around me. Alien in first with a 38.8 and rest of Top 6 all in the 39s. Half a second gaps for the whole race. I was 2nd briefly but he retook the place turn 1 and I was compromised and had to concede 3rd as well so came 4th but who cares when it’s clean respectful racing. The game is great when it’s like this.
On another note I cannot drive road cars for toffee. I’ve got a top 200 time for race B, I’m currently 9000 odd for that time trial in the civic!

I recently removed my post race greeting "Is it time to change the oil again". It's engine wear and rigidity are also no longer degrading. With the miles I have put on the Lexus I had expected it needing another engine overhaul by now.
But the first days at Deep Forest I kept checking my oil after every race
It would also be great QoL improvement if the game would remember my car choice for each race so I don't have to switch and change tires again. And just select the tires I need automatically. Hate it to miss a race because I have to go into car settings to change the tires. Entry denied.

55th! Wow, I only did 4 laps but the road cars seem so unforgiving, or so rewarding if you nail a turn. I did enjoy it so might try and push for a gold time. It's such a different mindset to driving the GT cars, it really rewards smoothness, what feels slow is often much faster - whereas I find the GT cars feel like you're on the edge when you're pushing that hard, but being on that edge is what is quick.

I see what people were saying about B being a bit dirty. Absolute carnage on lap 1, was up to 2nd just avoiding the wreckage. A couple of people tried to put me in the wall as I ran alongside, seems the Mustang is a bit too heavy for those shenanigans to work. They came off worse without any need for me to intervene.

Anyone else suffering from a rapid decline in SR despite only limited contact and no track limit violations? It also appears a lot harder to recover SR.
