I can only assume that people use the BRZ for a safer ride in the turns. It seems to be very slow on the straights. I had one race on my burner account just to get the feel for it, when I easily passed the leader in his BRZ with my M6 solely with acceleration and top speed on the straight before the final long left-hander. Has anybody else here driven it?
Knocked 3 tenths off my M6 qualy time with it. And I wasn't getting more out of the M6, but I still feel there's another couple of tenths out there with BRZ.

It's a little tricky for me as it swaps the cockpit view to the right but it might actually give a small advantage.

I would say in race the Mustang, Jag and the RCZ are all competitive at the moment.

Yes, META has shifted.

The BRZ is easier to handle, yeah. But also noticeably quicker through the turns in sector 1 and 2 where it more than makes up for its lack of speed in sector 3. The exit onto the back straight is very important and easier to nail in the BRZ than in the M6. Went from a 1’10.778 in the M6 to a 1’10.319 in the BRZ which put me 3rd last night, now dropped to 13th.

/Lots of hours in both M6 & BRZ

Check the leaderboards, my friend. Basically all BRZs now. Last I looked there was only one M6 in the top 20.

Did some more Bs in some MR cars. Gotta say, I really like the Ford GT 18 and NSX. Both are very easy to control. The Citroen is "meh."

I'd say my favorites thus far are the Lambo and the Ford.

I managed to knock 0.5 secs off my QT with the BRZ - so fast through the twisty bits that it compensates for the lack of top speed. No wonder a BRZ has won every race I was in this week.

Seeing these cars at Silverstone yesterday has got me wishing for some fast dailies now! I'm sure the purists will spot that the MP4s are not MP4/4s - one's an MP4/1, the other an MP4/7:-

I couldn’t believe how good the Ferrari was treating me as well. It’s a bit loose on the last turn, but when I get it right I barely have to slow down. I haven’t tried the Lambo yet but I’ll give it a go.

I was able to shave off two tenth, to an 11.5 now. Seems good so far. But no matter what I do, I can't get a consistent lap together. The chart shows me that my optimum could be another four tents quicker, but I'm stuck.

And I still haven't done another race. I think I'll have to wait until I have convinced myself that my DR doesn't matter that much, and that for having fun in the daily races it might even be better to fall back to DR B again.😬

I’ll admit that once I expected my DR to drop back down to C this week and quit worrying about it, my score stopped dropping. I’m still mid-B and probably will be for a while. Yesterday I finally made it into lobbies that where at my level (mostly B and not A/A+) and my score leveled off and I started having fun again.

I have to keep reminding myself to just have fun. But today I’m building my new sim rig, so probably very little racing for me. I got the ASR4 is any of my North American friends are familiar with that. So far it looks awesome!

Yes, the history of Alfa Romeo is quite interesting, and that part is especially intriguing. Almost killed the brand, and they revived it only at the last minute with the 156. My first Alfa back in the day.

But two things they have always been great at: design, and building engines.
The Alfasud was a gem driving. It had really good driving character and was very fun.

Great! This is the mindset I try to achieve. In the meantime, to compensate for my "daily race anxiety😅", I checked another box on my GT7 bucket list: just once being on a global top ten list:

(okay, this is only one single short sector of one certain circuit experience, probably the shortest of all, and I wasted an hour of my lifetime on it, but whatever😆)

Several of my friends each had an Alfa 33 in the late eighties. It was a great car. All Alfasuds had already gone to hell at that time 😆.

There isn’t really a way of knowing exactly which position you ended up in in the daily qualifying unless you’re awake when the week switches, is there?

And just like that, the week at Willow is coming to an end...

Bye Bye Big Willow I will...NOT...miss you. How incapable I am on this route.. after a few attempts to drive a reasonably useful time there, I just gave it up... and Gardens with an Alfa... nope. Nice that the week is over, I'm very excited about Suzuka, I suspect that this will also be a track for the GT-R again.

This is the first week that I drove willow after more than two years and thoroughly enjoyed it - I was intimidated by the lack of markers. I especially like the final turn where a very gentle and properly timed brake feathering rotates the car just right for a high speed entry to the critical start/finish straight... or not, and then go off and fall into the pits... more than once. :)

Aw haha, for those of who enjoy it, we will miss it! It's only fair we get to race all the tracks, even ones some don't like

I spent the start of the week with it raining top 5's for me there, and I'm sure my one chance at a win was taken away by an alt account runner but that's for my own personal store of bitterness I keep deep down.

As it went on I inevitably dropped down the order, and had gone up a bit in DR so bittersweet, but so long Big Willow! We'll see you next time.

DR B SR A any chance we cross?

Also, came across Barry R in my last race. bout crapped myself making a pass
I don’t why not especially when it’s late night. I’ve been matched up with just about every DR/SR combo at night.
I’m a A/S, for now 🍻

im at school atm (breaktime) and need the recommended (meta) cars for the daily races for my Instagram account. Any help would be appreciated!

nice, fancy the gr.4 Suzuka this week, couldn’t get on with the willow last week and race C is a little too long for me, so a week on Suzuka then the circuit experience! They’re out a little early this week?
