In 4 consecutive races, the same driver managed to single-handedly bring my SR rating down by ramming, shoving and side-swiping me multiple times.
In race 5, he finally got served a nice, fresh slice of karma 🎉 I started 7th and after all that still managed to finish in a decent place.
After the race he had the audacity to blame me!!

Fun fact every daily race we've had a Red Bull Ring on GT7 has been in GR3
This is will be only the 2nd GR 1 race on GT7, and the first with the LMP1 cars. Best car will be an Audi, Porsche or Toyota 😎. The Porsche 919 currently has the best PP rating in GR 1, but maybe the BOP will have nerf that for the race....i dunno its anyone's guess
From memory the Peugeot wasn't competitive. it was the Audi R18, Toyota TS050...Audi was used for TT but most people used Toyota for the race. But as you say that was on GT Sport.

It would be awesome if I could complete Race B just one time this week without being murdered by some jackalope who doesn't understand breaking.
Like every single race there has been marred in some way by dirty and/or uncontrolled drivers either punting me mid turn, or shoving me into a wall, or just flat out trying to wreck people.
I get it, if I'm slow into a corner and you're faster than me and I get hit from behind that's a clue to either take a more open line so they can pass, or just git gud yeah?
But on qualiy pace if I'm half a second faster than you and I've got a .3 second lead into T1 there's no reason for you to T-bone me MID CORNER?!
I love the circuit, it's a lot of fun, and I'm having a great time setting hot laps trying to get to a 1:50:xx from a low 1:51:1xx but once we get on track with other drivers it's just a ****eshow from beginning to end. Race C isn't significantly better given the number of people who think they can pass into the chicane of death but at least that's a thing you can know about and avoid, this is happening regardless of corner, just bad driving all around.
If the circuit was wider, or the damage more forgiving, or ghosting was more on point when a car is about to ram you that'd be awesome, but it's not, so probs just not doing any more Dailies this week

It’s most probably just me, but does anyone else feel like the Gr4 cars at Sardegna are driving ‘heavy”?
With a couple of exceptions, they seem slow to pick-up and are harder than usual to get around corners.
Also, tyre wear in the FF cars is far too high rendering them useless for a race of no pit stops.

They are oblivious to their own actions man, I believe a lot of them genuinely think they're just racing. I remember calling out a guy for blatantly brake checking me on a straight as I came up behind to get slipstream to pass and he was adamant that because he didn't get a penalty it was fine.

Hmmm…I just remember one and case when I felt that I was racing against some really dirty driver. I made a mistake and tapped someone in the race which probably made the other driver lose a few tenths, my fault I was not denying that. I backed off and positions remained but the other driver obviously got very annoyed and launched full-scale war against me taking just me out several races in a row. 🙈
Just remembered that because familiar looking name there.

We had Gr1 on Daytona road course a while back where the 787B dominated. I loved that daily. I doubt a Group C car will be competitive at Fuji, however... but who knows.

Next week dailys looking a bit better.
Daily B - happy with this. Like the track and Gr3 cars round here.
Daily C - happy with this too, but just seems a bit strange we have nations on Friday and then they stick this on the following week? Dry race so will be different. A little bit of strategy would have been nice here? High fuel wear would be good.

I got destroyed in today's races. Punted into walls and even though I move out if the racing line, other just drive through me and smash the car to pieces 🫤
I'm furious as SR went down from S to B now 👿 Put some more time in qualy to hopefully start further up and avoid the craziness in the mid and bottom packs...

SR is luckily quite easy to get back though. In an average race you don’t get punted so much I think.

I quit two races and was put into SRA. It was four clean races in a row to get SR S back!

That's the problem, it depends on others. Thankfully first race in Tier 2 put me starting P6 and I finished one place ahead with zero collissions, so got the clean bonus as well.
Seemed like most of the lobby was like me, just got SR drop due to others as everyone was A/ A+ with A or B SR and it was clean all the way.

Probably cleaner than SR S these days. Better off staying in a SR drop split to escape the YouTube hunting individuals.

If your SR gets dropped to A, does your DR automatically get dropped to A as well? I thought I remember reading somewhere that your DR can't be higher than your SR.
Do you then have to earn all that DR over again, or is it reinstated when the SR moves back up.

Ran Race B a few times this afternoon. @sturk0167 was slumming it in my lobby for some reason! He got a front row view of some dufus who was ramming me simply because he couldn't pass me on the last chicane. These people are killing me! People are trying to pass on the CoD, causing logjams on the exit and lots of penalties all around. I try to avoid them and they ghost, only to rematerialize in time to slide into me and give me the 4 second penalty. It happened at least two times, maybe three.
Then on the last race I did I started P1 and ran it clean the whole race until the second to last turns after the long sweeping eases. P2 I guess was frustrated and tried to tap is way past me but it knocked my car completely off balance. As fate would have it, my nose swung around and clipped him, knocking him completely off the track and righting my car so I could finish without any trouble. I was already typing and trying to explain what happened and say "sorry about that," but he texted first, called me "gross" and left before I could explain. I hate that! Don't know what his actual PSN name was so I couldn't even send him a message after, and no way was I going to race again with him right behind me. These are the things that frustrated me today.

Why are you sorry he hit you, causing you to hit him off track? Sounds like his fault 100%.
