That's always a question, for sure, at least to me. When I come up to the first corner, I slam on the brakes and downshift as fast as I can, then coast around the apex in 1st (or 2nd). But other times, downshifting all the way down quickly seems to cause issues. So it's trial and error for me.Yeah, that's what I'm still struggling to learn I think. Like when the best time to downshift is, things like that. Do I hammer the downshift button or do I do it more gradually that kind of stuff.
It's too bad you can't have someone who knows what they're doing watch over your shoulder. There've been lots of times I wished I could have that. The next best thing, though, is you could record a part of your run, or even just a few corners, post it here, and ask people here what you're doing wrong. I'm sure you'd get excellent feedback from the people on this forum. Just a thought. Hmmm. I might even give that a try with some of the corners I'm having trouble with.I tried the Lexus with TCR 1 and couldn't get lower than a 1:55 so I'm kinda thinking you're a savant or something
