Whatever your reasons are, thank you for the many updates over the recent months! 🙂That's not what I've said. I'm not interested in that being the only available option hardly appealing to anyone not seriously into it.

I understand that GT7 should have more content for those who don't like to do the daily races. That's not what I've said. I'm not interested in that being the only available option hardly appealing to anyone not seriously into it.
It's a bit of a misnomer. I know the single player group loves to throw it at us that only a handful of percent of players have achieved the online racing trophy, but from those same statistics only a small amount have ever completed the cafe menus which is the core progression system of the single player game so...It's a weird one because I really don't know. I think the majority prefer smashing the AI and the car thing over competitive racing.
I mean with the 10's of millions of copies sold you would kinda expect maybe a lot more to play online than do.
I got the impression he was just correcting the reason, not addressing/concerning backlash.I understand that GT7 should have more content for those who don't like to do the daily races.
But, people have a hard time with losing something that they've grown accustomed to.
Many people are following you on Twitter because of the daily race info that you provided.
Of course, you have no obligation to provide the info, but you should expect a bit of backlash.

It suggests that of all their sales, not a whole lot really stuck with it in any mode.
Nobody should expect ANY backlash for giving people something they didn't even know they could have out of their own good will and effort.I understand that GT7 should have more content for those who don't like to do the daily races.

I'm not stating that there ought to be backlash, just that there will be some.Nobody should expect ANY backlash for giving people something they didn't even know they could have out of their own good will and effort.
The only downside is everyone has to practice on the same day.
Just want to be clear than being given insider information is a privilege not a right.
And I'm just stating that people shouldn't feel entitled to something they have put no blood, sweat, tears, money, effort in to.I'm not stating that there ought to be backlash, just that there will be some.
You won't go far wrong making liveries for either the quirky stuff or all of the road cars get ahead of the curveI only wanted to know the races so I could make a livery for the road car (since I already have liveries for Gr.3 and Gr.4 cars).

More importantly (sorry) but for wheel users I'd double check that pedal calibration...
Thank you so much!Increase the minimum input %.
I run between 3%-4% for both pedals. When they start to act up like that and I don’t have time to clean them out. Increasing the minimum input usually works as a quick fix. 🍻
Are you using a load cell brake?
I mean, three-year olds can't hold their liquor and have tiny bladders, so... not a shock.Last race of the week and will be honest, had my niece's 3rd birthday party and as the "lively uncle" i had to represent when it came to who could drink the most whiskey without peeing their pants 🤣
Thankfully, I won

Just spent a good return to sport mode after a couple of weeks by thrashing that Ferrari around Trial Mountain. Love that combo. Such a good mix of throttle control, steering and then balancing the car over the crests.
Ran the first one from the back as I didn't set a time. Got caught in some carnage as people bounced back across the track but still got back to p4. Set a qualifying lap for the next one and it was a 3 star sweep after the closest guy made a mistake starting lap 2 and no one else got within sight. Next 2 were a bit boring as I just drove off. But great fun handling that thing.
Tip for anyone unsure, always be working the throttle except for the braking zones at the end of the back straight and into the chicane.
And for you drivers always pushing Q times as a challenge I'm sitting at a 2:12.6**. Knock it off and have fun slinging that car around.
I think an age plays a big part in what you play too. Im just into my late 30s so my childhood was all about mega drives, N64, PS2… And obviously back then everything was offline games. Gran Turismo 3 was my first GT game and I loved the content. Would spend hours playing the game, and even did the Nordschleife 24 which took me about 7 days to complete and a PS2 that was left running for days. When PS3 came around with the online mode stuff I bought GT5 but never played it online as I just preferred the offline content. PS4 again I’d just play the solo stuff and I skipped GT Sport as when it was launched I was told it was heavily focused on online game play which at the time I still didn’t really like doing. GT7 was the first game that I’ve played online and is still the only game I play online. I play a few other games online but at most it’s only a few hours a week or less. It's a weird one because I really don't know. I think the majority prefer smashing the AI and the car thing over competitive racing.

But I don't know other than the daily leaderboards and TT counts.
Lobbies are pretty sparse to.
I think a lot if not most people don't buy this game for the racing per'se more for the cars and trying them out/smashing the AI.
That said the single player content is pretty dire and overtly obvious in forcing people to try cars/events out of their happy place. Menus and actual events. And that is the reason I started racing online again on console.
Totally respect your decision in what you want to do. I appreciate everything you have done from launch with the game in giving us some sort of road map. 👍🏻That's not what I've said. I'm not interested in that being the only available option hardly appealing to anyone not seriously into it.
Maybe you had a wolf of wall street moment where you thought you drove amazing only to watch the replay and see you bounced off everything in sight.Last race of the week and will be honest, had my niece's 3rd birthday party and as the "lively uncle" i had to represent when it came to who could drink the most whiskey without peeing their pants 🤣
Thankfully, I won and once home, wanted to have a final go at Daytona, but knowing I wasn't 100% mind frame, I hopped into my second account 🙂
Started P13 and managed to concentrate just enough to not make any silly mistakes or make contact with other drivers. Don't know why I lost my clean race bonus as didn't get a penalty or hit anyone..
Kept my cool and made up 4 places to finish this week on a positive note 🙂
We are around a similar age and for me it's totally opposite. The fact we didn't have online games growing up has me enjoying that now as much as possible, it's rare that I'll play a game without it being online. Simply because I missed out on that as a kid.I think an age plays a big part in what you play too. Im just into my late 30s so my childhood was all about mega drives, N64, PS2… And obviously back then everything was offline games. Gran Turismo 3 was my first GT game and I loved the content... ones who religiously play online and don’t bother with the offline stuff on games.
Not gonna lie, i'm so tired of the Silvia being dominant race after race ( i guess last week was een exception).
