Radical at Atlanta is fantastic to drive, I had my worries but it's actually a great race. Well done PD.
Moves like this though do my head in
Just trying to cause a crash to prevent someone from passing or put me off so I'd swerve out or something?
If you have a penalty just take your lumps.
They were serving a penalty so were ghosted all the way, just doesn't show in replays. At least the game caught it and ghosted them.
Yes but unfortunately PD insist on these stupid short races so it is 6 mins of actual racing and then 12 mins waiting for the next time slot...Well, at least we get GVS
Yeah true, learned this during the tt 3 months back. You need to shift between 6 and 7k RPM for the best performance and early shifting out of corners also helps a lot.C is just the banger I hoped it would be. Car needs to be shifted in a specific way though otherwise you'll be way off pace - just a heads up, best to check the top ghosts to see how and where they shift.
I went into my first race without checking and was absolutely nowhere. I don't think automatic will be viable here at all.
Aside from the bar under your DR in your My Page, there's no direct way to measure it. Indirect ways involve external websites and apps and are approximate only as there's no longer a way to observe the actual figures through the GT website as there was in GT Sport. How does one track their Driver Rating? Is there a way to tell if your rating is going up or down (within the confines of the Letters).
I would also prefer to have longer races but I guess we gotta appreciate what we have. Let’s hope PD consider that in the near future.Yes but unfortunately PD insist on these stupid short races so it is 6 mins of actual racing and then 12 mins waiting for the next time slot...
I was really looking forward to this track coming up too 😔

In a few laps of practice I am well off the pace, lapping in 1:36.. I was going to ask what the trick to driving this car is but it looks like @PMK answered that question.C is just the banger I hoped it would be. Another quick tip, double shift from 4th to 6th on the long straight. Will gain you time due to the crazy torque i think. In a few laps of practice I am well off the pace, lapping in 1:36.. I was going to ask what the trick to driving this car is but it looks like @PMK answered that question.
Thank you!

Thanks for the info. And excuse my ignorance, but what bar? EDIT, nm. You mean viewing from Playstation. Not online via a webpage.Aside from the bar under your DR in your My Page, there's no direct way to measure it. I'm actually fine with the concept. I remember that during the 2022 GTWS Nations Cup, there was a race at Le Mans, and the tire/fuel use was so small that you didn't really need to pit. On top of that, it was Le Mans, so even just passing through the pits can take a while - but there was a required pit stop for that race. So I ended up gaining at least a couple positions upon finishing because a couple guys in front of me forgot the mandatory pitstop.I enjoyed the Race C, but there is no tyre wear and a required pit stop. This is mildly irritating for some reason.
Yeah, it's more or less, just an exercise in seeing who can follow directions.I'm actually fine with the concept. Being someone who can, I'm all for it, I'll take free positions all day thanksYeah, it's more or less, just an exercise in seeing who can follow directions.
And who can steer in and out the pit lane without getting a penalty. I was kicking myself at the end of practice when I realised I'd forgotten to practice the pit stop. I got away with it with a rather tentative pit entry, luckily I wasn't in a close fight for position at this stage. I also practiced pit out in the warm up, which helped avoid the pit exit penalty in the race.Yeah, it's more or less, just an exercise in seeing who can follow directions.
