They're not interested. They're just not, and it has been that way for a long time.

It's hard to look at how they have handled Sport and not come to that conclusion.

We can have ideas upon ideas but they're not interested in it, we'll see nothing but very minor changes, if that.

The actual core experience is fun, and that's all that keeps people hooked because it's not because of great innovations from PD.

I thought your driver rating couldn't be higher than your SR but that's not correct. But it should be like that.

My experience yesterday leads me to tend to agree with you.

Race B lobbies around 11pm-midnight. Going from quite consistently recognisable names to be racing against, to suddenly a small invasion by totally misplaced A-B drivers. My quali is modest so I'm in the thick of things with these guys, and by jove don't they love to fight for that 11th place with tooth and nail. We completely lose the leading pack before Pouhon, and I'm getting edged out no matter how much of a car length I have alongside. I understand if you're a lower DR driver and making mistakes, but once someone is into the middle ground of A rating, you'd expect some race craft.

My last session of the week ended with a small chunk reduction in DR, but what I really hope is that the handful of comings-together don't have me languishing in the early 90s of SR!

I'm on a PS4 Pro and usually have plenty of time to hit the track to take a peek around. Didn't think the 'Pro would be THAT much quicker to load but that's a surprise I'll welcome.

I'm on the first gen PS4, like i bought it in 2014 so im not too suprised. Buying a PS5 in november though, so loading times will probably not be a problem anymore (i'm looking at you, 1 minute loading screen after putting a new livery on my car).

In better news the Huracan is a monster in Race B, looks totally slept on in the standings but trust me, give it a go.

Didn't race Race A last week as much as I thought I would, but it was definitely more of a challenge coming through the field at Suzuka than Monza. Made it far more interesting (most of the time). Last night after I was pretty much through with racing, I decided to set a qualifying time and managed a 2;08.548 - good enough to be the fastest American on the overall leaderboard and 16th place overall, 0.6s off the Top 10 (and about 1.5s off P1). Why is PD allergic to mixing open wheel cars and Race C??? We haven't had a single open wheel race in Race C for this entire game's existence, and only the new SF cars have even gotten a Race B to play with! There's almost no point to trying to enjoy these things when you're in a room of mostly strangers that ranges from DR A+ to D and has no DR or SR gains/losses. Maybe PD will finally do it when the Japanese Grand Prix rolls around; the MP4/4, or even a repeat of the F1500 at Suzuka (but in Race C this time!!!!) would be nice. It'll probably just be the Super Formula though (not bad, but modern open wheel machines don't interest me anywhere near as much as the ones from the mid-60s to late '80s). Then again with as overexaggerated as the dirty air is, overtaking will be more difficult than in a 2017 F1 car...

I'd love to know how exactly they configure the Daily Race Schedule. It can't be that complex surely to make something a bit fresh?

I do say this a lot but I cannot believe how lazy they are...the fact they don't deploy the assets they have (night races, dynamic weather....hell, half of the tracks arebl basically unused!).

Idk why we haven't had a race dedicated to the Copen VGT. Perfect little car for cup racing. Literally the last time the VGT had a race was the early GT Sport days (I remember that for some reason).

And in general, some more effort in the part of the game you put so much focus on these days would be nice PD.

GR.3, GR.4 and a choice car... For me this events was made a long time ago

This time I'll try the 650S too (I just made an impeccable replica of the F1 GTR - BMW '95...I might as well show it off 😏)

100% WILL NOT drive during the race as I crash every other lap 😂

However, it is a beast on a single lap if you hook up the Supra!

And I actually was going 0.7s faster on the next lap but binned it heading up the hill to the finish line after the chicane..

Top 200 (almost) but I can do better. Hope the actual race will not be a wreck-fest....



** UPDATE **

Quickly got my answer re: wondering if racing shall be clean...

Answer: Hell NO

Started P12 and was in P9 mid-lap 2 and about to get another position as car in front had a bad exit heading to the back straight.

Swipes me not once, but twice as I'm spinning to make sure I hit the barrier as hard as possible! Down to P14 and I catch up to two in front by lap 4... About to overtake both of them but...

NO! Shoved wide into the grass on purpose again! At least this time I held it and he got a penalty, served on final lap, which was still too late to overtake but I think I finished P13 anyway as someone lost it final corner.

And it's only Monday.... ⚰️💩🤬🤐

GT by Citroën Gr.4 for Daily Racer B = beast*. Extremely fast in the actual race. I'm still working on improving my lines, but for this upper-DR B driver with TCS 2 (may not be necessary), it works great.

Its was Panorama that killed my Driver rating. Was a B/S and by that end of that week was a C/D. I’ve never been that low, was grinding Spa this week and most races I finished in the top 3, yet Im still in the C/C rating. Hoping i Can pull my way back out this week.

I think since last update they integrated the weather model with the SR values. Whatever you start the race with you will end the race with.

Race 499 and 500. Haven't been on form for either today and especially in the case of the Lambo, I got hit with a shortcut penalty because another player ran into me.





Still at least both cars are good to drive.

I deliberately was taken out 3 times in a single race so yeah, seems to be that way! And also from Tuesdays to Sundays lately!

Yes, it's already the third time I'm getting an error. I managed to do 1 race out of 3 and it was full of lag....And just at the finish line I saw cars clipping and lagging everywhere, said I won the race but no. Error.

All kidding aside, the previous post that was mentioning the driving antics they watched during the televised stuff was both hilarious and infuriating. When you see the pros behaving badly, why wouldn't amateurs follow suit? That's obviously the only proper way to compete.

Just seems an opportunity to lead by example set afire again. Oh well. To borrow a phrase, be the change you want to see in the world, right??? Imma just be me and (try to) keep it clean.

PS - Full transparency, I fail miserably at keeping it clean a lot. The one word to describe my driving style...clumsy. I'll get there. To anyone I've offended along the way, many apologies.

That's because you were clean as hell in those three races you ran!! Good job!

Seriously though, that is wild. Is it safe to assume that your DR is getting absolutely blasted, though? That always burned my wick...kicked out of a race by no fault of your own and your DR takes a massive hit.

No way to play online tonight on EU server: entered C races 10min ago, started doing some hot laps with the usual countdown at the top but after the end nothing happened, seems they’re having some real issues
Just kicked off of practice and back to the main sport mode menu…
