Holy WHAT!

Well, I know what I'm doing..

Glad you like the tune though. I'm mostly surprised it's worked!
As I said, the difference is that I have the widebody and had to lower the bhp to get below 350pp. Maybe that even does less harm on the straight than it does good in the corners?

BTW I still haven't managed to nail the final chicane at least once...😬

Yes I'm back for more easy pickings. No I don't feel bad about it

Winning's addictive eh! Who knew! not me.

Sick of this game if I’m honest. Full of dirty drivers and a dev team that don’t do anything to fix issues. Started 3 race B’s in pole today, came 12th on all of them due to dirty drivers punting me off track. All I’ve gained is less DR. Where’s the incentive to play?

Time to buy a PC and move over to ACC. Think I’m just about done.
Know what you feel bro😔
When I feel this I just play other games, last 3 or 4 weeks I raced about 6 races total? Not counting Demo GTWS... But playing GT is like addiction, you tell to yourself "Im sick of it, not gonna do this again" some time later you play GT😁 Toxic love...

Anyone else have this happen? (And I might have complained about this before, but I'm old and forgetful.) In the Daily Races for a week, I gradually get better, and reach a plateau about midweek. Then I gradually get worse. Then by the weekend I get better again. Anyone else, or is this just me?

I feel your pain, having been in a similar situation. But in my case, it was that I needed to improve my times on the first sector of the track. Remember that for that first section (at least) everyone is usually stacked up, and if you can't keep a good pace up, they'll flatten you as they go by.

I don't know if that helps you or not, but it's helped me.

Sorry for my rant guys, I grew up playing this game and still love this game, I just wish it could be enjoyed on a more ‘consistent’ basis. Just went back for two more. Started mid pack with a 2:28:7 quali and came 1st and 2nd. Great racing with some great people. Maybe have to try racing later in the evening like this 10.30pm Uk time.

Guess my frustration comes from passion!

Weirdly for me it’s not the first lap or first sector. It’s normally second lap, in the middle part of the track where some idiot 2 tenths back makes a lunge and wipes me out. I’m all for a good move, but when you’re within reach of doing it clean, not just hoping and praying.

Think it’s more people’s ego than skill, from what I’ve seen. Couple of later night races just now have been much cleaner!

I've been doing only Daily Race B this week, which of course uses Gr.4 cars. I thought I'd take a look at Daily Race C using Gr.1 cars. HOLY %$#!!!!! It feels like trying to play Guitar Hero brutal pro drums!

EDIT for the mods: Sorry about not using the proper format for masked expletives. Guess I need to re-read the FAQ.

2022 and sharing a screenshot is still way, way more convoluted than it needs to be surely.
It's a single button, and it was implemented in 2013. Once captured you can slap the resulting .jpg file onto a USB drive and you have a full-size image to do whatever you want with.

You should see the nightmare I have to put up with to generate screenshots for FH5 season change articles. It's still a single button but then I have to wait for it to upload to MS cloud and then deal with either a companion app or an insane web interface which creates entirely unusuable ".jxr" files alongside the usable .png files, except the pngs are 8MB each.

Wonder what dailies they'll give us for Christmas week ?? Hopefully finally races we enjoy at tracks we like , wouldn't mind a daily B race with no BOP and just bring what you got, tune and race

For PS5 at least I don't see how it could be any easier than it is.

I press the screenshot button, download it from the app, and done. I can't think of anything else that would make it any simpler.

Even if it was sent to a website instead of an app, its the same process, just a different download medium.

Ten more laps at Goodwood, again thanks to @Nebuc72 for the brilliant tuning. Watching the replays of the top2 drivers (1:31? what the hell🤯?) i noticed that they use very long gears and upshift early out of the corners. So I set the max. velocity to 240 and tried again. I never even get to 5th gear that way, but shaved off another 1.2 seconds, 1:35:7 and N°29 in the global rankings momentarily. I'm honestly surprised.
I wish I could try it, but I don't think I have the right engine.
They really shouldn't make races that everyone can't compete in. :irked:

Multiple accounts actually gives you an even easier way to share.

What I do is I send the screenshot via messaging to my secondary PSN which I have logged in on my phone with the PlayStation app and BAM! There you have a nice image to share with ease and without needing extra devices.
but it’s already in the app, down here..

OMG GR.1 is so much fun at Le Mans. Give it a shot I promise you won't regret it.

Well, I wanted to race in the big boy cars and I got put into a big boy field with Mainly A+/A drivers with one @sturk0167 in the room. My qualifying time didn't improve so P12 for me. I had a terrible start and I completely botched the entry to the Tertre Rouge section and hit the wall. Car damage of course but no wall penalty so that was nice I guess. Anyway, I'm by myself in the back as I let the few drivers behind me get by. I also have no idea how to fuel save and I had to pit for a fill up to get to the end. No entry penalty for the pit stop so I'm counting that as a win. The only reason I finish P12 was due to a few drivers quitting. My performance wasn't the best, but still fun to drive a high powered car around Le Mans.

So, how the heck do I save fuel in this race? What fuel map do I run and how short does my shifting need to be? I was shifting at half way on the display right where the gear indicator is. Everyone else seemed to have no problem with it.

clearance, Clarence!
roger, Roger! 🤣

Seems like people are short shifting, flipping between 1, 2, or 3 depending on where on the circuit they are. I'm running full rich, flat out, and pitting b/c I can't be arsed to save fuel

I said sharing not generating. The taking of the shot is a piece of cake but why can it not be shared to the gt7 web site or the playstation web site? Only saves to the app which is a pain if I am on this forum on my pc.

Or export it to a USB drive - which is suuuuuuper simple and rather quick, and doesn't require any mucking about with logging into any websites (like the GT one which logs me out every time I use it) which is particularly useful if you have multiple accounts too...

I'm just shifting 1st thru 6th all the way left, like as soon as I see red on the bar. 6th to 7th I shift halfway. Barely making it. I hate messing with maps.

Omg I had no idea the app had this feature. Thanks for bringing that up!!!!

For anyone who hasnt figured it out, you go to GAME LIBRARY >>> click on CAPTURES at the top of the page.

Except for me, who went from 8th to 1st on lap one, and led the first 3 laps the 787B, only to end up finishing 25 seconds behind the winner, after stopping for gas.

I migrated to race B, where I had some success, until I met up with @deviln3, who whipped me good.
