GT7 Tuning Calculator - Download v3.3 all new cars added!!

I think I know what he means... I finally got around to using the latest version, and i remember an option that allows you to change the spacing between the gears where it starts at like 76 to 80 percent. This of course is on longer there, but when you hit calculate.... (for me in the STI '04) the value for first gear I could not get to, 2nd was a little long and all the rest were perfect.. So I think he just means the part about the gearing looking strange

The option for the gear spacing is in the lite version, the expert version has the minimum corner speed function.

If the 1st gear is out of range to the game settings. You can use the user final Drive input and shift the heating into range by changing the final drive…

Hello, I am still having the same issues as post #707 running on version 2.5

I can get it to calculate using expert version 2.07, but putting the same info into expert 2.5 is failing at the same spot and gives me no gear ratios.

I assume this is probably user error on my part, but after retrying it multiple times I simply can't understand what I am doing wrong. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks. :D

It looks like there is a problem with your torque line.

Oh really? I thought I was following the directions properly. :( If I could once again ask for advice on learning what I am doing wrong.

This is what the graph looks like with the image under it deleted so you can see what I plotted with the line tool. It's the same torque line as the image above.

That’s the Power Curve line not the torque, you want to draw over the grey line (torque) not the blue line (power).

Hi mates,
well I have still problems with it too and i am drawing the grey line, not the blue. To get it work, I need to restart the Excel Programm and then type in the same values as before.
And then: „Tada“ all the gears available and no failing C75 anymore, wicked… 😂 but of course its annoying to do so

Sounds like an excel issue on your machine. Go to formulas in the menu bar at the top and check if you have formulas calculating automatically…

I just picked up the MP4/4 and tried a quick tune in the Lite version and the gear ratios are miles off. I've set the top speed to 210mph and it's saying 6th gear should be 0.973/463 (287mph). When tested the car hits 222mph in 5th then obviously can't pull 6th so the speed starts to drop. Any suggestions what might be wrong?

Hello: I am a player from China and now I really need your shunting form. I would like to ask if this form is available in Chinese. In addition, how do I buy it? It is best to have a mobile phone ios version

Hello,

It is not available in Chinese at present. You can download the English Lite version for mobile or the expert version for computer from here www.gt7tuningcalculator.co.uk

Hmm okay. Do a little test for me. I don’t own the mp4/4…

Check what rpm the car reaches 222mph in 5th. I need a fairly accurate rpm value to check the calculations of the wheel size… I use eziodash and pause the game when speed target is reached.

It's hitting 219mph @ 12,563rpm in 5th

Okay, obviously the tyre size of the MP4/4 is a lot larger than I had as a value. Input the following the wheel size… 16.86

Should work then

Thanks mate 👍

edit: just tested and now pulling 216 in 6th 👍

Wow, that explains so much about why I've been having trouble then! (Sorry for the delay in response, I caught ill over the last week and haven't been able to do much).

I'll give this a whirl with me doing it correctly this time. =P

Hi, i tried tunning the new Corolla and noticed that the diff doesn’t show values for the rear for any value entered for torque distribution

Just been notified of this last night I am updating the drivetrain as we speak! thanks mate

No worries - another small thing while you’re at it. The Z Performance ‘23 has 9 gears & messes up your formulas. Not a big deal as 9 is way too many gears imo - just highlighting

Easy fix with the gears, will now have the option for 9 gears… must feel like driving a HGV 😂!

New Corolla now has 4WD as apposed to FF.

I have also unbelievably built a new option into the expert version to be able to save and load car setups. Now the only drawback that I can see right now is that if I release an update somehow I need to be able to get all of your setups into the new sheet. I might have a workaround which will involve the calculator making a new workbook (like a database with all of the setups in it).

I will keep you posted and hopefully have this ready very soon.

Hey,
Is it really necessary to put so much work in the excel calculator? 😅 Isn’t the app coming soon? Don’t get me wrong, I love all the updates and things you've added so far. But I have no problem waiting for the app to get the option to save my setups. 🤙🏻

Hi Joel,

I know what you mean, I guess I just love coming up with new updates 😂!

The app is coming along although a lot slower than anticipated…

New update has been released. With the changes I mentioned previously.

Seems to be some issues with people not receiving the new download links. Let me know if you have received your new download link or not please.
