Some is ok, a lot of it combined with getting high centered means you need more ground clearance. That photo looks like a fairly smooth, wide area. You take that on the trial this weekend, I guarantee you will have problems.

Ill do the Trail Today and take pics.

Unfortunately won't make this week or any other when scheduled Sunday at 3pm EST. That is green flag for JGTS. :(

5pm on I'll be free to join and Saturday Afternoons.

Maybe some others will be willing to do more wheeling around that time. :)

Nobody asked, but here's my opinion. I'm looking forward to someone getting stuck. :D That was quite fun un-wedging Ferraridude's Rebel last week. Every time I've been on IRL trails with friends, at least one of them brings a newly purchased yet-to-be-modified truck, and finding a way force it through the trail without killing it is part of the enjoyment. I do agree that cars don't belong on our trail rides, but I think a couple stock looking SUV's mixed in with our super modified trail rigs really does add to the realism, provided the driver follows the "realistic" driving guidelines that RT has provided us. 👍

It's fine he can bring it, as long as he plays along. I just don't see how that mammoth sized SUV will make it around the hairpin turns which require 3 point turns from a Canis Mesa.

I'll bet we can figure it out. :mischievous: Keep a Mesa behind any low clearance trucks, that big front bumper ought to be good for something. I know a good bump-n-paint shop in nearby Los Santos if we scratch up any tailgates. :dopey:

Shouldn't have to do that though... Maybe once or twice, but not all the way up the damn mountain.

That sounds like an excuse to try the trail out tonight! I'm on it!

Okeh That is ALOT more tight then i thought....

Overall wasn't that bad.. Made it all the way through, With just some Minor Scratches. The Corner though i did a 5point ish turn.

I noticed something incredibly perplexing earlier that I'm still confused about... the Sandking is basically a lifted version of the Vapid Sadler, one of which I found in Sandy Shores. I decided to try something out, and found out that the Sadler has a pretty good 4WD system that's actually pretty close to 50-50... so why on earth is the Sandking not 4WD if the Sadler is?? The mystery continues.

On that note, I might join the off-road group properly if I find a Sadler online. After I get the Stimulus package I'll be able to buy a Z-Type with about $200k remaining so I'll probably spend the rest of that money tuning up a Sadler. I'll save my plans to get back my Banshee and Bullet for when I can buy GTA dollars...

Assuming you completed the offline story mode. Do your testing and building there.

Your not gonna like that Sadler. Slow and low power built. :(

I don't think I got accepted into the crew...unless you can only be in 2 crews.

EDIT-Nevermind, figured it out. Thought I requested to join, but I checked my activity and saw crew invites.

Has anyone gone off-roading with the Bodhi (Trevor's truck) yet? It seems like a decent off-roader, but it seems ground clearance will be somewhat of a problem.

Well the Bodhi seems to keep up well with other offroaders as far as I've seen. Though clearance might sometimes be a problem.
