I can create the yuku if you guys find it useful. To evitate ads I can also setup a bulletin board on my hosting, it wouldn't cost anything to me, but then the group would be relying on my hosting.

I wouldn't have deleted negative comments but I agree that there are too many negative comments coming from people that never attended meetings. Quite odd. The meetings are not the madness mayhem that some describe, they are actually very enjoyable. You should first attend and then comment them.

All these negative posts are bothering me more then any of the minor misshaps that have occurred. Is everyone just standing around waiting to post something negative? Knock it off, people. If you don't want to attend, then don't, it's your loss. We don't need to hear about here. I've had an absolute blast at every single club meet and I plan on continuing to have fun with this. Nothing is broken here, we had a small issue and we fixed it. Let's hear suggestions for the next meet. :gtpflag:
1. I know they're not 4x4s but the paradise is classed offroad. So I think vans ,to see different styles, but the trail would have to be easier on tge vehicles.(not just paradise other variations surfer etc)
2. Non lifted pickups bobcats, bisons, and sadlers to see the crews car creativity
Also I wanna enjoy the trails we've been racing thru them lately.

damn Out of all those I only go a surfer ill be left .
4wd drive cars? Not adders smh

I know, I added the surfer because it formally fits the "bug derived" category, but I admit the idea is better if restricted to the carts made out of a VW bug

4wd cars is a nice idea but I think we have just "rally" cars in the game (sultan, elegy) or extreme sports cars that can't go off roading (infernus, adder).. even the Radius is an SUV

Add bohdi to truck meet if we did it . But is it a truck? thats the question.

x the 4wd cars idea.

I think we should have a couple more serious moderators like @R1600Turbo used to be. I know a few have volunteered to do something like this, and I wouldn't mind either. I understand I have been a bit of a jerk in some of the older meets, but you could say I was enlightened and am back on track :3

Another thing guys, don't get too irrational, if someone does do something a bit stupid, I believe a strike system could be an option. 1 strike, a warning. 2 strikes, a ban for a short period (a week?). 3 strikes, you're out! Simples. :D

I agree though, many members do need to screw their heads on a bit tighter, but at the end of the day why can't we have a laugh about it? It's only a game. For example, although that airstrike WAS annoying at the time, I believe we should all be able to have a laugh about it now! (I say all of this only meaning to help) Anyone who can't just needs to get a sense of humor, because once you start irrationally banning members it becomes a slippery slope. How long before it ends up being just one higher tier group member sat in a messy, dark room with the curtains drawn going up chiliad on their own, without a group in sight?

Cheer up everyone, IT'S ONLY A GAME :) Forgive and forget, that's what I say anyway.
Peace.

The Bodhi is an open-top truck. According to GTA Wikia it's a decommissioned military vehicle packing a military-spec Twin-Turbo V8, which is why Trevor is the only owner of one. Trevor also used to be in the army as well, so it makes sense.
I'm also fond of the VW-Style meetup. Good idea. 👍

Announcement!
Next meet we will be starting to monitor the behavior of other players. Nobody has been banned, so no need to worry. However, if we detect childish behavior during the meet, there will be consequences.
1st Offense: A verbal warning
2nd Offense: A written warning (will be posted in this thread)
3rd Offense: Kicked from the room
4th Offense: Kicked from the crew for a decided period of time
5th Offense: Banned from the crew
If you spawn at your apartment and don't want to drive your trail-riding vehicle to the meet, please call for a taxi from Downtown Cab Co. DO NOT steal a car, as this will lead to attention from the cops.

Instant-Ban Offenses
Bringing a Rhino Tank to the meeting, even if it's just for laughs
Calling any Merryweather attacks (Mercenaries, Airstrike, Heli Backup)
Calling for a Mugger
Setting Bounties for no reason
Intentional Killing
Picking fun at other members (i.e. racial, ethnic insults, etc.)
Repeatedly attracting attention from the police on purpose
Flying a helicopter such as a Buzzard or Cargobob. Frogger and Maverick are alright, but keep your distance from the trail-goers

This crew is meant to be taken seriously. @R1600Turbo laid down the blueprints, and it's time to stick to them.
If I could request that R1600Turbo places these guidelines in the OP, that would be fantastic, so that everyone will be able to read them without them getting buried by pages-after-pages of replies. 👍

Suggestion: All helicopters used in the meet need prior approval.

On a serious note:

Some of us (me) have to plan my game time. I play some games for pure leisure. I engage and join leagues and meets for a more serious gaming experience.

So when one doesn't respect this time set aside for a serious gaming experience. I tend to get little upset.

So when comes to the meets. Understand many look forward to a session of gaming that is organized. While serious doesn't mean not fun. I personally enjoy myself in the restricted meets. I enjoy serious racing series much more then free for all rooms.

Last edit: bodhi sounds fun. If def be down for a meet using them.

As well I'd like to try the crash and derby idea set forth by Jeep. It would def be an after the meet type of deal. However it sounds fun.

Seriously good ideas here mate! Good job! I think it may be hard for some members without microphones to immediately justify their actions though (ie. Accidentally killing someone). So maybe wait till the meet is over and they have had an opportunity to explain via. the thread before taking actions! Otherwise, really good job! Nice to see somebody taking responsibility and sorting the group out! :D

EDIT - Can we have the meets back to 3pm from now on? Otherwise I won't be able to come to them anymore as 3pm is already on the edge for me :/

No, its actually very simple to communicate in a meet without mics, we can use an XMB chat room (you enter the chat room in the PS main menu, all the messages appear on the screen while playing). To write, you just click the PS button to access XMB, like when sending messages to a friend. Last meet I felt I missed a chat room, when a few guys could communicate by mic but all the others couldn't.

Never even knew they existed... Doh :/

Yep all meets from now on (unless specified by the host) will be at 3PM EST. Also thanks for the compliments. As a crew commissioner, it's time to get the horse back up and galloping. 👍
@OwensRacing I fully understand where you're coming from, since we tend to hang out quite a bit on GTA V.
Games are meant to be played to 'waste time wisely'. In other words, people want to relax when playing a video game. Some players tend to play FPS games to relax, while some play racing games or sandbox games to relax. The LS 4x4 crew features all walks of life, from FPS fans to hardcore racing fans, but when it's time to meet up for a trail run, we need to set aside our differences and play peacefully; no killing, no silliness, just relaxing trail riding with gorgeous pictures and happy members to compliment that.
In all honesty it's a bit of my fault as well, since concrete rules weren't established to ensure that everyone has a good time. Now that the rules are set in stone, it's time to be serious. I will be watching everyone's behavior and recording misbehavior in a Word document. Then when the meet is done, I will cut+paste the notes to a reply for this thread (unless a Yuku page is made by then). You all have been warned in advance. 👍

Okay I have a question about helicopters... Last meet I was a few min late as I kept getting DC'ed, is it fine if I go form my apartment, to near where you guys are at, the call my mechanic to bring my vehicle? 1) No damage to vehicle before the meet, and 2) Its a lot faster. It'll never be in the way...

That's essentially what we're going for. Some drive to the meet with their trailhog, and some don't. If you're taking a helicopter, be sure to land it far away from where we're gathering. This is the ONLY time anyone can freely use a helicopter. Helicopters used for spectating must be approved of beforehand.
I will be in a closed crew session for anyone who wants to offroad and hangout peacefully.

Alright, now or later?

I've been looking for some people to go off-roading with, I've tried to contact a few of you on PSN. But anyway, how would one go about joining? I'm always up for hitting some trails, I'm normally on most evenings after work (EST).

Now, that we have the new rules/guidelines set out, I have another announcement regarding the next meet.

Next Sunday's meet will be lifted vehicles, in contrast to the stock-height vehicles we did yesterday. Sandkings, Rebels, Merryweather Mesas, whatever lifts...bring them.

Also, as I previously said, passive mode will be required by everyone. However, if you have a bounty on your head, you can't enable passive mode. If you have a bounty on your head, either me or @ZDUPH will take care of it. We will let you know before one of us kills you.

I saw you sent me a friend request yesterday on PSN. I left it alone since I didn't know who you were, but I'll add you next time I'm on. 👍 Are you a member of the LS4X crew?

Yeah I figured as much haha. I requested an invite to it, but nothing has come of it. It's still 'request pending'.

What's your Social Club ID? Same as your PSN? I'm a lieutenant in LS4X and I can approve your request.

Just asking not all meets to be at 3pm because of so ill never make one until the next daylight savings. Everyone doesnt have the same schedule, maybe a second meet during the week same guide lines as sunday but just different trails, but id keep in mind to setup that would be frustrating.

Thatd be a good idea actually, maybe Saturday. More people will be free then, I guarantee it. Nobody needs to worry about work or school the next day then ;)
