I know it sounds stupid but I might use the R10 this season so I can get myself upto speed however I will probably change my mind again. If the name Team Audi isn't taken can I use that if I choose the R10?
How much slower is the R10 by the way?

The 908 is becoming harshly contested for. We are going to need to find a way of picking who gets the two. Oh, when the OCD updates on Thursday, If there is a C60 Hybride, expect me to be using that. If not, I'll be in the 908

There is currently a C60 Hybride in my UCD lol. I don't have the money to buy it but I already have one. Damn I want to be able to use the 908.

That car is the most beautiful LMP car the world has ever seen. Tho noise and livery are stunning. Although, I wish the Tequila Highcroft car from last years ALMS was in the game. You'd never get me out of it. The Tequila Patron livery on the LMP car is just too cool for this world. Hmmm I'll decide thats why PD forgot it. The livery was too cool for the game.

That livery is just pure pornography. I see clearly what you mean about this car. Talking of LMP cars I wish that PD put the new Audi R18 in the game, I doubt that'll ever happen though,

Or at least Audfi's most succesful LMP. The one, the only, the Audi R15+
No idea why this is missing as the 2010 Peugeot is in the game but the 2010 Audi isn't. I want a Le Mans car that won't break down when I try to win the race with it, even though I'm extremmely fast compared to my rivals.
 
Why is everyone battling eachother for the Total 908? Why not just grab the Matmut?

Still looking for that C60, hopefully I'll get it. If not I'll grab the R10. Yes, I'll do it, I like challenge. Kinda of why I drove the C9. And you saw how that turned out.

I'll get an R10 if I don't get a C60, also it's apparently very slow. Whoever the person was who tested it said it just couldn't make a good lap.
 
Ok about all this 908 stuff -

Since I was sort of the original 908 in our little racing series I'd like to continue to use it. If necessary I will at least grind the cash and get the Oreca 908, or switch cars if need be. Problem is I only have the 908 and no cash at the moment, so any of the Standard cars will just have to show up for me.

Golfer by all means you can switch teammates. It sounds like we have at least 5 ppl who want to use the car (Mike, Me, Golfer, Mu, erikkiller etc.) so somebody is gonna have to switch.
 
Ahh nice to be not in a car war. I still don't get what's so incredible from driving my 908 matmut again today. I couldn't brake, I couldnt turn without skidding and I couldn't get the power down. I would happily give my 908 matmut for someone to use instead of the team total. If the credit limit wasn't in. I don't like the car and I have just over 16 million cr so I'm fine for cash and would've been happy to give it away. Pity
 
Sorry to keep changing my mind but i'm not sure if i'll use the R10 if it's as slow as everyone says it is. I'll wait to see what appears in the updated OCD and UCD over the next weeks.

I suspect in real life the R10 is even faster than the GT-One. If you look at lap times of the past. PD uses a physics modeling, they punch in dimensions, weight, listed downforce, etc into the physics engine. What they get is what they get, and obviously some cars are faster and some slower IRL.

What PD should have done is copy i racing or r factor. I think the sheer number of cars in the game is what keeps the realism from maxing out. Damn, just get rid of all the worthless Miata's and skylines; work even more on the physics.
 
I bought a R10 today, will play with it this week just to see... I'm still using the 787b, had some good testing today @ Laguna Seca, really enjoying the car.

IMO Car selection should go in order of championship standings for highly sought after cars, those not on the championship list will go to the interest list.
 
I couldnt see sorry.. I may be intersted in this series.. are the cars limited as to how many drivers can use them?

Still no C60, hopefully I can find it. Now who are th other people who had wanted this car? Need to know becuase I'm sure it was over 2.

Agreed, but since there are so many new guys in the series it could be difficult, but we'll make it work.
Maybe say that people who used the 908 last season have first-priority for using that car again.
