The fact that Sprint Cup didn't even TRY, even further makes me feel it's irrelevant to our case. If schedule is that important, then Sprint Cup should run their Suzuka East race, as the last race of the year.

I'm curious. If the race is re-run, I assume qualifying is official and will carry over? As well as the starting lineup? Because Mustard(3rd in points) wasn't able to make it this week, is this delay going to give him the opportunity to show up and race for points next week?

If we rerun it next week, it'll be as if nothing happened today. Everything will be wiped. Which is why I'm liking the idea of making it official anyway, and having next week off, so I don't feel as if I've wasted your time.

Don’t think you wasted anyone’s time. You couldn’t predict PD would do this.

Some drivers that raced might not be able to make it next weekend, so they would have raced today all for nothing. That's one reason that it would be unfair to race next weekend. Just call it a race and put it in the books.

i would prefer this as I have a feeling I may miss next weekend . Trying to get out of it, but parents don't take excuses

I won't be able to make the race next weekend since I will be visiting a family member. Despite not being far away, it will still prevent me from racing next weekend.

Shame because I would have settled with a 7th place finish. Oh well.

It was because of PD server issues and none of us could get into the room on time so we started late.

Okay, so on a completely unrelated note, Tom and myself are working on putting together a spot race on the 27th (a Sprint Cup off week).

Full power, minimum aero, Racing Hard tires, 160 laps of Indy. "Full realism" mode . I mentioned it briefly during the race yesterday and it seemed to get a bit of interest. It would be open to everyone, but I can reserve spots for any SC/Nationwide guys that are interested.
