That's was why I replied like I did. Surely, if I clearly state not to save your replay with the 'Save Replay' option and someone says they have exactly that, then I'm clearly going to be a little...

I wasn't looking at the game screen when I posted that I just knew it wasn't save fast lap.

I was doing nothing but trying to make sure I was doing the qualifier correctly & you decide to make condescending remarks, well don't blame me because you've had a bad day.

Don't the rest of you blame me for sphinx going off the deep end for no damn reason.
If he feels that my comments are grounds for him quiting the qualifier & going away mad....well that's his problem not mine.

Well maybe that's why I never saw "save fast lap", it's hard to use something that isn't there!

Maybe he would've understand the problem better without that typo?

It's not his fault that they use fast lap in english and ghost for most of the other languages.
Very confusing if you don't know it has been translated that way.

No you need to re-read my posts, there is not one thing that could be considered offensive or an attack on sphinx.
The simple fact is the North American version does not say save fast lap, period.
I did nothing but ask for a clarification because I wanted to make sure it was done correctly.

Then how come I saved it? I live in Florida dude.It's just called Save ghost replay.. I'm pretty sure we got the same copy.

Can we drop this topic and go back to the way it was like about 10 posts back?

Sphinx is putting a hell of a lot of work into this, yet he still has to cope with the same questions over and over, and a game that doesn't use the same language for all versions, amongst other things.

Yes I'm having a bad couple of days, and sometimes I don't react well to questions that anyone with the slightest bit of logic could work out for themselves, because let's face it, if it's not one save replay option then it has to be the other one, YES?

Perhaps you should take a seat & chill out a bit mate!

Yes I am going to chill now. I will see this qualifier through to the end and set up the divisions and in the meantime hopefully appoint 4 more race stewards to make this monster more manageable. Once all this is completed I will stand down and maybe get time to actually race like the rest of you.

You're doing a great job with this.... keep it up 👍. I understand that sometimes you will feel frustrated having to repeat yourself thousands of times so hang in there... People should know the intention of the Save best lap or ghost or whatever its called in Japanese, German, etc... and apply abit of common sense. May I perhaps suggest an FAQ post within the qualifier thread so people don't have to read through this whole thread?

I do have a question for you though (but if you feel its been answered or irrelevant, please feel free to ignore it )

- What exactly was the bug with the game that didn't allow us to use N3 and had to switch to S2? I'm just curious.

Most of us here really do appreciate the hard work that goes into setting this stuff up. I used to set up the GTP: Drift Competitions (GTPDC) for a year or so, and it took a lot out of my time. That was rather simple to setup in comparison, and if anyone doesn't understand that, well maybe they will now.

I'm starting my laps tonight. Very much looking forward to it. I absolutely love this car, and Suzuka is definitely one of my favorite tracks in GT5, next to Fuji. I'm really going to give it my all, with the little time I have between work, skateboarding (competition in a few weeks ), and school.

Wish me luck.

The car does not suck, and it is not impossible at all, try going a bit lighter on the go pedal. 👍

As for the car sucking, haven't you ever heard of self-serving bias?

Hi Sphinx, Great job on the combo i think a great one to start it off, not to easy not to hard but takes a little getting used too but all in good fun.

I think it will pretty much even out the Division nicely, with people ability's of GT5P driveing. if it was to easy like lets say a MINI at Suzuka for exsample, to be begin with it would be messed up in my opinion, because it does'nt push you to the limit as much for a Qualifier.

Great job again Sphinx "now where did i put that controller" have'nt played on GT5P for maybe 2 month or more but i think running with the GTP crew again will bring me back to love the game even more!

Don't mean to be a sly but I too use the sixaxis and I've heard it's easier with it than with a wheel

From personal experience with the GTforce, I would say a few Hrs on the wheel and you will smash all your times set with the control, in Pro Sim mode the wheel is so much smoother, im currently using the DS3 and in many cases cannot touch my times i have before using the wheel.

Guess its also comes down to personal preference what works best for the individual.
