I submitted last night but got this back.

The message could not be processed.

Make sure that the subject and body are in the correct format, as explained in the weekly threads.
Please start a new conversation.

Should I retry? I think every thing is correct.
Your Subject in the PM was 'Subject title: GTP_WRS Qualifier'
Put only GTP_WRS Qualifier and you should be fine.

Does it make a difference if the replays are in the "PS3>SAVEDATA>XXXXRPLY001" and "PS3>SAVEDATA>XXXXRPLY002" format, or can they be submitted without the PS3>SAVEDATA portions?

Cool. Just wanted to make sure before I uploaded them since the way I had mentioned was how I had been doing them for GT5P and GT5, but I guess it's not necessary for this. 👍
And remember, per replay one zip file.

Submitted and accepted. Spent about 3 hours on both tracks. On willow I think I left a tenth on the track and at brands hatch I feel like I left half a second on the track because I was struggling to stay consistent a whole lap. I'm happy with both laps though, I put as much effort in as I would for normal events so I'm satisfied with whatever division placement that results in.
:gtpflag:

Last Sunday was practically my last chance to place a good time on both trtracks, and using the wheel.

I already had my best laps down... but i felt i could give another push. So that was the intention of this session.
WS could be improved by half a second
and BH by 00.060 sec.
That were my goals.

Locked in a satisfying time on WS, which is to my surprise how fast it took me. I thought i would be struggling with it to meet my goal, but beat it.

All the better so i went on to BH to try to reach my new goal of shaving 00.060 sec.
If i could do so, i would call it a day :) 00.060 sec should be easy to find right ? right...

Within 5-10 mins of playing, i saw that i actually could improve by 00.500 sec at least!
My skills are improving already with the wheels..., and with no aids too.

So i went on my new quest to find that perfect lap. To shave half a second from my current best!
I endded upspending the first hour trying to piece that lap together.
fail... :(

try again... i am so close! Certainly now 00.060 sec seems so easy to come by...

Second hour went by and still nothing...
The truth is, for the past 2 hours, i still couldn't past my initial goal to shave 00.060 sec! i could not even bank a clean lap to beat by that much, so half a second?????
So where is that ideal perfect lap of half a second of improvement?

i AM so close... let's keep at it! Evening time is here and i can already smell dinner... literally.

THATs when my real trouble started: she called me out for dinner, i was in my setup saying No!

My wife got mad at me for playing and spending so much on gT6...
really??!

Well yes, my wife is pregnant, she did give me the game for Xmas as i have asked her... so i should be able to enjoy it on my spare time, AmeRight?.... anyways... Having missed half of dinner time with the family trying to get that Golden lap, i decided to give up because the thought of sleeping on the "Couch" is really stopping me from making any progress, it's actually sending me all over BH grass fields.

So there and since then, I have stopped completely playing or even trying to beat my time. I would not be able to even improve by 00.060 sec :(
I am also giving up on half a second of potential perfect lap.

For the rest of the week, i put away the wheel setup, kept the PS3 OFF all week long, and paid more attention to my wife.

So today i am turning on my Ps3 to fetch my replays for submission.

Turns out, my best time lap on BH, the one i tried so hard to improve on after spending about 500 miles on, i saved it when my PS3 was logged offline without my PSN!

My next best save put me back 00.130 sec behind :(
I tried to give a go without my setup, using only the DS3.

it's hopeless, i am a full second and a half behind (with aids on) compared to my wheel time (with No Aids).

That's when i realized, the hours i have spent last weekend, was really not necessary... and i had spend way more time than i would on a regular weekly competition time.

Just like being in a relationship, my BH submission time is a compromise...: could have done better, but for now it will be good enough...

Thanks for reading and baring through my frustration and realization...

I will be happy wherever i get placed... looking forward to know!

Now I am off to go submit to FetchBot! :D

Question for the Mods:
Would you mind if i submit my very best time (clean) on BH, but the replay does NOT show my PSN login?

Or do you really have to have the PSN login, and therefore i have to take my next best clean replay (+00:00.130 sec)?

Please let me know.

If you mean, does your submitted lap have to be one you ran while logged in to PSN, then the answer is 'No' - if you ran offline and your PSN doesn't show when you load your lap, that's ok - your PSN is still logged by the replay file and Fetchy will still register it 👍 That said, we'd rather you did run it while logged in as it makes things easier when manually reviewing replays. That isn't always possible of course, so don't panic.

Oh and welcome to the madness of WRS - sounds like you're well and truly hooked already. Just keep that missus of yours happy in between times. ;)

Ok done now, first proper day on it and cut about 2.5 secs off each. Do i put UK, GB or England??
Most Uk'ers put UK but there are some that like to keep it a bit more local entering England
EDIT: Tree'd

Thanks Argon Vagabond, and others who have replied.

When i did the qualifiers, i always make sure the I AM LOOGED IN. but sometime my internet connection would drop me, which i think is what happened...

I will submit my replays to Fetchy. Will see what he or she says.

Then i will be back at catering to the missus :D

Ps just checking each video. Were would it say the psn name, can only see my game name t.young.

it would be right after your "t.young", youngun_great.

But the Mods says they have ways to find your PSN no matter... they are surgeons disecting your replay files ;)

EDIT: Opps, my post is also tree'ed.

All good news and confirmation... i can go to church peacefully now, as soon as Fetchy gets mine. :P

Just submitted my two replays. Gave it about 150 laps on each combo.
It's insane to see some people investing 100+ hours in the qualifier
For me the divisonal placement is not so important, because I will not have time to do the TT's.

Good luck to everyone and see you on track 👍

EDIT: submission accepted

... i don't remember if i was logged in. My "driver" name is K. WZX10 anyway LOL really original.

As @Vagabond indicated earlier you don't have to be logged into the PS network when running your lap as long as you used the same ID as the one you are submitting with 👍

I've submitted :), and it's been accepted!

I gotta admit that M3 qualifier is the most addictive thing ever, I did an extra 15 laps today than I normally would do? All in the aim of trying to improve, didn't though unfortunately! Was on the ultimate lap that I can see for 2 sectors but span on last! Bit annoying, but I love the combo for that very reason :)!

Hopefully it's enough to stay in D1 👍

Good luck everyone else!

Is there a way that I can tell what grip settings were used on a run? I did part 1 a while ago, and am sure I did it right, but I did forget to set it correctly for part 2.
Part 2 has been sorted, but wanted to check part 1.
Cheers
