You can always tell how bored GTP'ers are when you count the number of spreadsheets in a thread!

Can any of the admin offer an update on how imminent the first GT6 TT is? :sly:

I'm similar, but with only one event in GT5! I'm not sure where those 3 years have gone, I remember hot lapping on Prologue as if it was yesterday. I'm also hoping to run some in GT6, but need to get the qualifier done first.

Yeah, same here. we (mrs Fastas & I) have had two kids in that time. I can't believe I only did two events in GT5.

We're still shooting for this weekend, ~30 hours from now.

IF we have issues (and right now, it would relate to the leaderboard/submission engine), we'll likely delay until the following week.

The week 1 combo is ready to go, just need to be sure Fetchy is ready for the mayhem. :sly:

Week one starting right now sounds like music to ears :) We can deal with the leader board is up and running somewhere like mid next week  :sly:

I guess you were just born half alien. :lol:đź‘Ť

Are you kidding, I don't think there's even one alien gene in me!

And speaking of age, I remember watching one of oink's last broadcast of GT5 where you could see him driving in the corner of the screen (picture-in-picture), and telling myself "gaaad, he looks like he's about a third my age!".

Well, probably because I am! Well, not quite. But it does seem that this community is made of a more...mature :sly: audience.

True, and even the younger ones seem to be more mature than I was at that age (I'm still behind quite a few years in maturity compared to my real age).

You probably won't remember this day in years to come Dennis - another side effect of advancing years...
I'll probably remember this day in years to come. Remembering what I had for breakfast on that future day, on the other hand,....

Semi-related - we need an old-man smiley for those of us who drive like we're 40 years older than our age.

Congrats on D1 Christina, I had replay-checking duty when your submission rolled in, very nice laps.

I'm not usually one to complain about the sounds in the GT games, I can appreciate the good ones and ignore the bad ones, no big deal.
The sound on the M3 though, was a bit grating at times and I'd go back to the Megane when my ears tired of the drone.

Just imagine if it gets upgraded in GT6 or GT7 to how it sounds in pCars:

I probably would have ended up putting way too much time into it if it sounded that way in GT6.

Sure felt like I did more than 10 events in GT5p. Can remember some of them quite fondly like the
  • Lancer at Suzuka (w/ Motorcycle Chicane)
  • AM Corvette at Daytona Road
  • Ferrari F1 at Suzuka
  • Elise at Fuji
  • Ferrari 512B at Fuji
Spent some time on those, still kinda fresh in my mind. Feel like running those combos now.

Sorry for the confusion lefty. Yes, both were invalid so,they both have to be rerun. Have him submit two new laps and we will take care of the rest. He should just do his best laps with AS off and he will be good to go. đź‘Ť

I hope he beats you. ;)

I'll be hoping he can as well, "Go Little" :)

Hah! :D Thanks Matt. I think I may be the only 'lady' left? I'm sure that description would have my brothers wetting themselves. More than usual that is. Disappointing there aren't more girls.

And no, I'm not playing the age group game. I'm old enough to laugh at myself but young enough to laugh at you too. :sly:

I think it's wonderful we have a Lady amongst the Gents, and a fast one at that. I look forward to trying to catch up with you Christina. đź‘Ť

As far as my age is concerned, I look like I'm 28, feel like I'm 23, usually act like I'm 18, but am really 43 now.
I can't remember which events I've run, maybe I really am getting old. :dopey:

Those were all mine. :)

Regarding Age... you guys have seen this right?

Online Racing Community, how old are you?

Some familiar WRS names in the "masters" or older categories including me (sorry if I missed you):
  • 41-49: eclipsee, Sjaak, Eggstor, Vagabond, Rikson, RacingWorld, otxjto, CargoRatt, WRP001
  • 50-60: Patrick, Lefty, MillRSVR, ConRollins, Allibubba, AspecBob, Jammy, Argon, Zapphoid
  • 61-70: Worldfamous
  • 70+: FireCracker (ignore Bandit, he thought it said 07 )

Ouch..
Didn't know you were that old Tim
At least now I know where the term 'handicapped' results come from :D
Maybe an idea to link age with the counter factor for those upcoming WRS results?
