Props to otxjto, GTP_CargoRatt, Gravitron, millross, Allibubba99 for achieving over a -2.000 drop in handicap but special congrats has to go to MilleRSVR and Racingworld68 who both achieved over -2.500 drop in handicap from the GT5 Qualifier.

Hope that this is of interest to those of you who have taken part in both, just thought i would offer the info.

As for finding how many events people ran in GT5, maybe you have a better way in mind, but a fool-proof (but manually tedious) way is to look at http://wrs.gtplanet.net/registry/ and clicking on each member will give you their list of events and results. A better way would be to write a script that would iterate through all the driver links on that page and download each drivers results and count the occurrences of the string "Week" in each. I could probably whip that up if it will help. 👍

Pretty happy with the jump to D2 Bronze (from D3 Bronze in GT5). I'm feeling faster already :-) although that wheelchair might come in handy as I'm 50 in March so definitely racing VC (Veterans Class). I probably spent about five hours on each track and it was tempting to go back and refine it some more but I know I'll never be able to devote more time than that in the WRS so left it at that. I've also noticed that over the years I've tended to reach my best times faster ... back in GT4 I could be 40 hours in and still improving.

And on the that note, the main reason for this post is that i have compiled a list of all the people who to part in the GT5 qualifier and GT6 qualifier to compare how they have done as i was interested to see whether i had improved or not.

Wow, just noticed your post here. Interesting stuff...so close to being in the 2.5 range. Further proof that practice really does pay off. Very well done, Tim. 👍 I had been thinking of doing something similar, but comparing the final handicap in GT5 rather than the (GT5) qualifier. It could sort of be a measure of how well the GT6 qualifier ranked people, at least for those who have been more active in the TTs these last few months. So, ideally, for those people the difference would not be very big (but I realize that there are many factors involved).

Since I'm lazy and you already started work on this... if you feel so inclined, that could be interesting to see as well.

I would fire you guys if I was your boss knowing that you spend your "office time" doing wrs stuff but nice to know, didn't think I only improved 1.2, sweet. Looks like racing in the wrs has helped

I think im not as bad as i thought with alot of people above having played GT5, 5P and GT4 all. Being only 22, have alot to learn. GT5 was my first and even then played most off line and seasonals purely for the dough.

Well that was unexpected! I thought I'd been missed out when I couldn't see me in Div 2. Division 1? I can't say I'm not pleased with that but I'm not sure I'll be able to keep up. I just hope I don't embarrass myself too badly.

I didn't look close enough at http://wrs.gtplanet.net/registry to realize that the whole bottom section is "Unplaced Drivers", where Daniel appears for a 2nd time. Presumably others who also had their GTP name changed will show up there too.

if anyone can help, my submission failed on the qualifer it said Your replay contravenes the regulations for this event.I did everything the video said put all the right ticks in boxes the bot said ask a member of staff as not to do it again because i have one more go , i am confused.com

Online Racing Community, how old are you?

Some familiar WRS names in the "masters" or older categories including me (sorry if I missed you):

• 41-49: eclipsee, Sjaak, Eggstor, Vagabond, Rikson, RacingWorld, otxjto, CargoRatt, WRP001
• 50-60: Patrick, Lefty, MillRSVR, ConRollins, Allibubba, AspecBob, Jammy, Argon, Zapphoid
• 61-70: Worldfamous
• 70+: FireCracker (ignore Bandit, he thought it said 07 )
