Using the line?

I could not see the infield braking points or apexes to save my life in the Corvette seasonal. Especially the kink.
I have memorized my turn-in point in relation to the curb on the right hand side before turn-in. That's the one dark spot on the track but it's easy to get it right.

I just got done with a 2 hour willow session.. goin to submit that even though I can find more time. I've done a session earlier of brands hatch and now that I go back, I can gain 2-3 tenths after the first 2 sectors but the long right hander after the hairpin is where my ghost passes me. I'll give this a 2 hour consecutive run then submit.

Just submitted my replays for the qualifier and it was accepted.. Now I bite my fingernails until I figure out how terrible I did.. Brands hatch was really tedious with a ds3, I lost quite a few laps on the last left handed curve.. It's very deceiving.

That last left is called Sterling, it IS very deceiving! The trick to it is that it is banked, and you can carry a lot more speed into it than you think :) This is one of the things PD got right on their scan of BH.

I finally got around to submitting my qualifiers :) I'm not expecting to be ranked very high but I'm happy with my times. More so with Willow than Brands it must be said. Which is weird because I'm usually terrible at all Willow variations :P

Can't wait to be part of the WRS!

EDIT: Wow that was quick, thanks very much guys! I'm over the moon to have just scraped into div 2 :D

Had time today to run laps. Replays have been submitted. :gtpflag:

Edit: I'm not able to race very often on Sunday nights this year. The plan is to try to get more involved with WRS as it should be easier to fit into my schedule. Unfortunately Time Trials are not my strength. Actually...not sure what my strength is or that I even have one, but I digress.

Looking forward to my first WRS TT in GT6.

cheers guys!

can i re-submit at any time and would it update my rankings?
You can only submit once. If you want to climb up you just need to run Time Trials and if you do good in there you'll get promoted over time.

how long does a replay take to be reviewed and put on the leaderboard? i submitted week 3's replay a while ago and i don't seem to be on it yet.

You need to get your T1 and T2 split times from the replay and post them in that thread, like you see everyone else doing.

The full laptimes from the replays will show up here after the deadline later today: http://wrs.gtplanet.net/GT6/results/3/

If you got a replay from Fetchy that your replay was accepted, then it passed the automated checks.

is there a way of viewing sector times from the replay in gt6? i watched the replay and it doesn't come up with sectors even in the live timing section

You have to work around that. We have information in the OP that tells you how to do it, I will expand here.

Pause the replay at the start. While still paused, use the forward button on the replay HUD to advance, your first split will be shown. Note that split time, then hit the forward button again, your second split time will be shown on the screen.

Note that you need to have chosen display "All" from the HUD for the times to show up on screen.

awesome thanks, i got a ps3 and gt6 recently so I'm a noob at the moment :/

I spent nearly an hour last night on the Brands qualifier, got my best time on lap 11 and never could beat it in the many laps afterward. Once frustration set it I called it a night, and uploaded my replays today. I'm not that fast but I love to race, even from the rear of the pack. Looking forward to some WRS.
