Hi, new to wrs! I have a problem though...

I've submitted my replay's with the correct message format and as far as I can see, they are squeeky clean. The qualifier thread says something like this "once submitted, you will recieve and automated reply within 15 mins" yet after about 5 hours, I haven't gotten any reply whatsoever. I'm very confused!

Any support will be appreciated!
Go to that conversation and click the "Invite More" link, and add Gravitron and JoostBaksteen. We'll take a look.

Ignore it, please, it was talking about me after I responded in that convo. We need @JoostBaksteen to take a look, because the replays look OK to me, but I'll load them up in the PS3 and see what I see.

Hi drivers
I was looking through the New Drivers & Promotions section today and I noticed my name under New Qualifier Results, what a nice surprise. It is dated 18th feb, that was last Tuesday. I really thought I would have been notified about this, I checked e-mail and nothing on there, don't get me wrong I am really stoked to have qualified in Division 4 gold, I just don't want to be listed as inactive. Anyway my question is What is my next step? There is so much going on it is quite overwhelming in what to do next. Maybe i will try the week 6 time trial, I know I will be sent in the right direction, thanks.

Like you said, start with the Week 6 TT - may as well get rolling. 👍 If live racing is your thing, check out the WRS Online events:

...and welcome to the WRS

Many new qualifier seem to expect to get a PM when they are processed, but per the details in the qualifier post the announcement is always made in the new drivers and promotions thread.

I know that has always been the case and is detailed in the thread, but with the increased IQ that @JoostBaksteen has given fetchy, is it possible to work in an automaticsally generated PM when new drivers are added?

When does an updated handicap show up on the official registry thread? Been at 2.228 since Rome and I was wondering how close I was to being in Div1.

You only have one official result. Week 5 won't factor in until next week as the results are not finalized yet.

Just a Question,

Am i allowed to run the Trials now that i submitted my time trial, or do i have to wait until i receive the division i get in? Probably have to wait, but was just curious.

Not trying to rush you guys, im sure you are all very busy in life which i totally understand! 👍

Thanks Guys!

You can participate and post splits, but it wont be added to the leaderboard until you are added in the registry and know your division placement :)

But its a good opportunity to get up to pace for the next event! 👍 :)

right on, Sounds Good, Thanks Mike!

It's an unreal aid that makes the car go faster beyond what's physically possible. It's a form of cheating basically.
Sorry. I'm NOT very used to disable SRF on my cars because I'm still learning how to make a perfect race WITHOUT SRF. But WITHOUT SRF, the car will spin out.

WITHOUT SRF, MORE FUN, RIGHT?

SRF is like this.
It is not required in WRS

You will be a better driver without SRF - and as such will have more fun, yes.

Learn with different cars without it and you'll soon not need it at all.

In the current seasonals I can go faster without SRF, that's how used to not using it I am. The cars just handle worse when tuned with SRF on.

This is the perfect place to learn how to drive fast without it then. The cars behave in a much more realistic way when its switched off and as you get used to it, your skill will increase.

All SRF does is increase tyre grip when they start to slide. Its totally unrealistic and actually drowns the feel of most cars.

I tried SRF in the Lotus seasonal, after posting a pretty good time without it. I though I would see if I could crack the top 100, I guess I forgot how to take advantage of SRF, as all I did was make a mess of every lap with it on. With RH tires and SRF the grip was too much for me to run good laps.

I've actually started to enjoy SRF from the seasonals. Sometimes it does make cars feel too twitchy.

Hey guys,

I've submitted my laps. I had great fun with BMW although I doubt if there's a single piece of grass I have'nt been on. I also learned to love the hot hatch. But I still have one question. I send my replays to fetchy witch got accepted at 11:43 GMT. so here's the question. Will my laptimes be reviewed this week or am I too late and will it wait for one extra week.

The following might be a bit off-topic but since I don't know where else to put it.

The other night I was talking with GTP_PASM we discussed this thread https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/threads/sixaxis-to-g25-1-year.115679/ and I got the idea to make a video log about my learning curve. Since i'm starting from square one here it might be interesting for future new combers to see what my experience is. I want to do this because I love photogrpahy & making vids so this seems like a fun little project of mine which I'll enjoy making but also looking back on at the end and hopefully seeing the progression I made and what a great journey it was. My idea for the first episode is to introduce myself then I'll tell what i think of the qualifier combo's (I will not mention times or anything time related). Then I want to tell about my first 4 hour using the wheel instead of the DS3 and how it affected my TT's. I'd love to have some opinions and perhaps some tips on this one! For starters where should I put this on the forum?

Hi!
I tried to submit my qualifier since yesterday and I always get an error that my content cannot be submitted - try again later.
I doubchecked everything and can't find whats wrong...
