If Vaxen doesn't get arounf to it tonight and I submit my qualifier Saturday night, whats my chances of being on the registry next Monday? If slim to none, I'll wait on my qualifier and do a league race Saturday.
Vaxen plans to do a batch tonight, and another next Monday, so I'd say work on your qualifier ASAP. 👍

So, according to this thread on the v1.04 update, the tyre model has changed... Assume you guys have that covered and will be testing any effects? RA menu is active as well, but I assume you guys can verify if changes have been made to that in the replays that get submitted?

An admins work is never done... ;)

Thanks to Vaxen and all the WRS crew!!

Wow, D2 eh? If you saw my practice time at AH in the S1 you would have believed a D4! The combo is great, but I'm really slow there...

Edit: Oh, and there is a minor error in where I was placed in D2 silver, the handicap numbers don't follow :)

Hi, is fetchy off kilter due to 1.04? I tried changing controller and he says that I'm not registered, even though the new drivers' listings has been announced by the mods

Fetchy needs to be sync'd with the registry after an update... not sure if an admin did that... I'll check.

So, I just saw my handicap and the splits between handicaps... I'm pretty close to Div. 2.

Does it only go up? I know that demotions (from Div. 3 to Div. 4) don't happen except by request, but the handicap does go down?

Also, given this 1.04 update, I might actually be able to afford the FXX, and might do the FXX time trial... I might end up in D2 surprisingly soon, depending on results... And how much of my weekend I dedicate to it.

For now at least your handicap will not get worse but that may well change as I know the Admin group are looking at that rule again. The "no-damage" rule was introduced in the latter part of the GT5 TT's to try and encourage folks to participate AND submit times even if they had an off-par week.

Keep watching announcements though 👍

About to start my qualifier finally! Put gt6 in and, holy cow, its beautiful! Gonna do 2 hours on each one and submit.

Is Fetchy accepting registry submissions after the 1.04 update or does joost still gotta fix it?

Aw, that's terrible timing :P I've been ill as of late and finally got around to 'finalising' my times today. I guess I'll hang on to them and see if I can find a tenth or two by the weekend.

Well.... I ran 2 hours... had a lap I was satisfied with on brand's hatch.... then I realized I forgot to set the grip to real. Sad part is, I had the rules right in front of me and was goin down the list to make sure everything was right.

By the way, if I redeem my anniversary cars on my gtp_wins account, will they also be on my other accounts?

PS3 has arrived, and boy Im awful....whats the best time of day to drive or doesn't it make a difference?

When the sun doesn't bother you. It's not been proven that there's more grip earlier in the morning, so just whenever you feel is most comfortable.

Cheers for that, well that's the last time I listen to my friend (I was driving at 00:00....), now I can see!

There is less grip on cold tracks. 00:00 is the slowest time of day, regardless of whether or not you can see. I ran laps at Daytona, and I was 3 or 4 tenths of a second slower at night.

That's hardly a test, or proof.

Might you have been slower because you couldn't see as well?

I've been 3 or 4 tenths slower than myself without changing anything at all. Sometimes we just lose the groove.

Broke even and I maintain my D2 Gold. :D I'm extremely ecstatic.

And if the theory proves right that you run slower the further away from 1200hrs, then that sucks, because you wouldn't want to know what lap my best time for Brands Hatch was :indiff:.

That's why I chose Daytona. It's as bright as day....
