I've just gotten my username changed. Is it possible for you guys to update the registry with my new name when you get the chance? :)

Speaking of name changes.. I'm gonna switch over to my main account. Can someone change it on the registry? Same as my forum name..

This is my 1st time doing this qualifier. How will i get the Lap video to you? I don't have a zip Drive. Do i save my replay and send it to you. Please respond, ASAP so i can get this done.

There is pretty cool instructional video in the original post. All you need is a USB memory stick.

No, that's not allowed. You'll have to purchase one, they're not expensive and you'll use it every week here. Some people have had limited success plugging their phones into the PS3 and copying the replays to the phone as if it was a thumb drive.

Whom among the staff may I ask to know the reason why I have failed the GTP_WRS qualifier? - I mean, why my replays contravene the regulation?

Thank you in advance.

If you invite @Gravitron and @Vagabond, by clicking on "Invite more" in the right hand column, they will take a look at what is going wrong. It could be a glitch in the system.

I said it before. I'm thinking about joining and after reading about WRS I'm in. I race in the snail league but I love what I have read here. Soon as I can find my thumb drive I'm going to start on the cars. Glad I don't have to make a new account. But can't wait to do the time trials and find out where I fit in.

Can some tell me after u join how everything goes down for the Tt and the race? It's a lot different from what I'm use too

As soon as you have submitted your times and they have been accepted the admin team will turn around your entry pretty quickly (1 to 2 weeks) and you'll get an official division placement. You need to watch out in the New Drivers thread for your ranking as you won't get a personal message.

Between your submission and your official ranking you can participate in the weekly Time Trials but just for fun as any times you post in the thread won't be updated to the leader-board and your entry won't be included in the results for that TT but you can enjoy the fun of taking part, the banter in the thread and you'll get a chance to measure how you stand up against others although you won't know if you're doing good or bad as you won't have your division placement 👍

As soon as you get your official ranking you are able to participate fully in the weekly Time trials and any time you post will be updated to the leader-boards. You have no further hoops to jump to participate in the Time trial events just join in and start posting times.

If you want to take part in the weekly On-line races then you have one small extra step and that is to register for the OLR series using the 3D3 Racing Online Driver Database Entry Form. Also, take the time before you get your ranking to read the rules here OLR Rules

Time trial events are posted every week (Sunday) here > TT Events

OLR events are posted every week (Wednesday) here > OLR Events

Hope that helps

Hey buddy i see you're from war wv. I used to deliver to wal marts out that way.. kimball, beckely, south williamson, Logan, grundy, pounding mill, bluefield.
It'd be nice to have another hillbilly around here.. it's pretty straightforward on how to do everything each week.. its better than racing in snail ;)

Glad I could help, if you need extra info on anything it's best to post a question here and whoever is cruising by at the time will try to help. Alternatively you can always hit me with a PM if want, I'll do my best or point you in the right direction.

Good luck with your qualifiers 👍

I would like to join. Wish there is another way for me to export my replays as I don't have a computer but only a tablet.

Is there no method or app that can zip files on a tablet? You should be able to get the replay to your tablet easy enough.
Edit: I just searched zip on the android store and there arw plenty of free apps.
You should be able go PS3 > usb > tablet (via cable) > zip with app > :)

The problem is probably getting the files to the tablet. You can't just plug a usb drive into a tablet, i don't think.

Others have pointed out apps that will create the zip files necessary. You probably do have an SD slot (likely microSD) on the tablet, which along with a (micro)SD-to-USB adapter, will be how you would transfer files between the tablet and the PS3.

I really should check to see if SDHC cards are still formatted in FAT32 by default, and if not, whether the Android operating system would format it in that. What I do know is you can't use the SDXC cards - they're formatted in exFAT, which the PS3 won't read.

Edit - Good news on top of good news on top of good news, with a bit of bad news on the end - SDHC cards are still formatted in FAT32, Android 4.3 also formats SDHC cards in FAT32, and Fetchy likes the zip job that AndroZip does. The bad news is AndroZip appears to not work consistently with the newest version of KitKat (Android 4.4).

I know you can definitely connect a regular usb stick to a tablet - I have done it via a micro to usb cable on mine.
