WOW "V" your just amazing..... you wedged back into the lead ......... just amazing
Thanks mate but that might be a little premature... and amazing is quite an exaggeration. :sly: Ramon is only just getting started and I'm almost at my limit. :scared: Spud and Baron are hot on our heels too and we've yet to see what Wes has up his sleeve.

Speaking of which, Baron you're on fire this week mate. 👍

I'm still pissing about with hundredths:

25.813
21.498

PB in sector 3 and gained half a tenth at the line. Still a tenth out there for me but its getting tough.

First splits as D2! Didn't really deserve the league of the best.

26.315
21.690

26.236
21.650

Got lots more to reach full power
Also a shoutout to mods 👍

Thanks, but I'm still trying to find time in t1. I see where it can be gained but my best is .901, I'm looking for a mid 8 and I'll be happy. Not sure if I'll get it but I know it will be a blast trying, this car is really fun, which is not something I would normally say about an FF.

New splits, now using the tune from eclipsee 👍

25.921
21.524

I've seen one faster split time (.390), but the lap was dirty in the tunnel

Fetchy must have a fur ball caught in the ol crawl cause Catz hasn't got his fastest sector on the board for T2, fast sector there "cp"

Battle of the tunes.

T1: 25.880
T2: 21.516
I'm still playing with the settings.

Getting consistent 26.0 / 26.1 in sector 1 but can't get the exit out of the tunnel right...

new time:

26.172
21.813

Had faster sectors but unable to string them together, my excuse is I hate FF and I'm sticking to it ;)

26.190
21.878

Hahaha that's what I keep saying when I go wide in the tunnel and hit the wall on the right " I ****ing hate fwd cars...."

Hey Ramon, 2 weeks in a row..?
I can't believe it yet. :D

I'm scraping tiny fragments on the lap now but there's still another 0.15 lurking about:

25.752
21.528
Great splits mate.

Getting regular .4s in sector 2 now... need this sector 1, a .4 in sector 2 and that tricky tenth in sector 3 and I'm done.
Ha ha, me too, easy to say hard to do. 👍

New splits:

25.760
21.388

Failed in the last sector :ouch:

Updated settings:

26.164
21.648

I'm not quite sure which setup suits me  not very consistent in sector 1 :ouch: I know the theory :) but can't exactly put it to action, still looking for about 2 tenths.

Improved .3 overall, only have a few hours left, will be out of town starting tonite for the weekend. One thing that helped me was I ran across a few videos by Tidgney that explained cornering and braking. They were very helpful, the one thing I applied was the idea that you should either be braking or accelerating (doing something he said) , and limit the time between brake and accel to a minimum. Very good videos , thanks for those Tidgney. I found them in the Q and A forum, under a thread called 12 things to make you faster.

That has to be 26. not 36.?

I reckon this is me about done:

25.787
21.426

...and held it together round the final hairpin... I'll give it another couple of goes before the deadline but don't fancy my chances on improving now. Pretty happy with my time though I think. Best fun I've had in an FF so far and gotta love revving the nuts off a VTEC. :sly:

Keep it going. You're only .065 behind :)

By the way, can anyone that gets 21.5's in sector 2 post a video? I'm having troubles getting a good exit out of the tunnel consistently. .8 is the best I managed to do so far..

May as well be .650 at this point haha. :sly: Besides, Ramon isn't just an alien, he's like GT's equivalent of an ascended being. :P Not sure it would be politic to post a sector 2 vid since I already did one for the 1st sector... that's almost the whole lap. But if it helps any (using my setup):

Trail brake to the apex of the right hander after the tunnel in 2nd gear, then straight back on the power. Stay in the middle of the track for best traction and aim straight for the next apex. If you got the line right you can keep your foot in and change up to 3rd and use the curb on the right as run off before sweeping back towards the next apex. (Note - stay off the high curbs - they'll cost you time in traction loss) Full throttle up the hill, into 4th and keep it flat round the fast esses all the way to the hairpin in sector 3.

Does that actually make any sense? :dopey:

Thanks. I'll try to apply it tomorrow. The biggest problem I'm having is with the turn just after the tunnel. The rest of the track is pretty standard as it's all flat out. The wierd thing is that I try to take the same line all the time and sometimes I manage to go full throttle through the next turn and up the hill and other times I hit the wall on the right.

Thought I'd have a crack at this one, seeing as I usually like Grand Valley. Two hours is enough to tell me that I don't like this car (at least not with harder rear tyres).

With Ramon's old tune, I just cannot seem to get T1 right; the second corner is particularly diabolical. Using the newer tune makes it even worse. I can go faster in T1 by using Chris's tune, but then the understeer is so bad I lose much more time in T2 and T3 than I gain in T1. Maybe I should do what I did a few weeks ago and try a stock tune.

Still, here's what I've mustered so far:

26.233
21.639

I had one lap where I was 0.2 quicker than these, but I completely messed up the last turn. :ouch:

My finalized setup:

This might work a bit better for you Matt.
