Had a good session today adjusted LSD and camber on my tune and set gear box to qualifying spec with
5 laps of fuel and fresh tyres I managed a 2.08.409 on first flying lap on the second I got a 2.08.191 but doing a qually run of 18 mins I could only manage a 2.08.875 going to be a very intresting knockout qualifying this event

I am soooo jealous! These are my favourite events! Stupid work schedule!

I'm kinda right there with ya. The last one at Spa was on my Anniversary and now this one is on the wife's birthday. I was able to run one at Monza, but it was canceled (never really scheduled, actually). That's just the way things go sometimes. :indiff:

Sorry guys I have to apologize to you.
There were some nasty things going on in my home.
I have not seen a race was started and I was on the grid.
Someone crashed into the back of my car and I spoiled are therefore his start of the practice race.

Sorry Sorry Sorry !

That was me. While I was catching up with the crowd everybody else was knocking each other off the track and I finished 2nd. Thanks!

I can't believe I was able to avoid all of that. 👍 Being in the back of the pack for pretty much all five laps, I had a front row (opposite-pun!!!) seat to the carnage. Slow, but mistake free, allowed me to finish ahead of a lot of cars. :sly:

The back is a safe place to be

Most people left the room, but thematic and MeisterFetz were still in there when I left.

Some times that were put down during FP1:

Pretty happy with my times was in the 2.09s on long runs and a nice 2.08.6 on low fuel and fresh rubber thou in the race I made to many small errors pushing to hard on 2nd lap but I agree with @Mini Stiggy its going to be very close in the race

After last nights practice, I wasn't surprised that there's gonna be a few, fast peeps (2.08s) up front followed by the 'scrabbling pack'(2.11s - 2.13s).

I can't get my lap times down below 2.11s consistently and have experimented with differing downforce/gearing setups but they seem to offer no real improvement in overall pace.

Any fast guys willing to post their sub 2.10 set-ups?

So, it looks like I'm gonna get slaughtered in quali and I'm just hoping to pick up a few scraps when/if people fall off the track on the night.

See you tonight for FP2. :dopey:

I'm basically running @PASM tune with full downforce and a few tweaks to suit my driving style and a on the limit gearbox there is not really much difference between the tunes in the op I've found it comes down to which suits you're driving style the best.
the one big thing I noticed with myself ,Bart, mini stiggy, and Friday was we carry a lot more speed throu spoon leading on to the straight and 130R that alone can add up to 1 second gain on lap time
