Pontiac will now pay off it's 3500 credit loan, leaving it with 29310cr. The RaceTech Chassis, a FWD/RWD platform, will soon be used to develop a new Pontiac roadster coupe, aimed to compete with cars like the Miata and the Volkswagen Cabrio.

Nice post timing, but the Lancer chassis is a Front/AWD layout. EDIT: Didn't see the comma. Sorry. EDIT DEUX: No, no, I was right the first time.

All Q1 dealings are over. Q2 shouldn't be as much of a problem now that I have a structured system built and working, as was the primary reason I was so backlogged. It won't be a breeze, but after setting up Dagger, Tomorrow will be refresh day for all 20-or-so workbooks.

Also, this point makes our first fallen company official. RaceTech International has been parted out after the almost immediate withdrawl from the market due to management becoming overwhelmed suddenly by outside influences. RaceTech was the easiest venture to cut loose, and that was the end of that. All units were sold, the overseeing entity, Starion Bank, giving all profits to former employees who did not move over to another company as severance packages. However, as we lose one, another comes to light. This time, it is a company calling itself Austell Automotive. No one knows what the future holds for these upstarts from Georgia, but I don't believe they will be a blip on the industries radar.

....Well, OK then. Didn't intend to drift into journalist mode, but I did anyway.

High Road Magazine
The brass from Tsukuba seem to have developed a penchant for remaining tight-lipped about their developments while other upstart brands leak something at every opportunity. A better or worse approach? Opinions in the office are mixed, but they can be put aside for the time being as we got a rare chance to ask Mr. Soujiro a few questions.

HR: It's great to finally meet you and talk about Tsukuba. You and your team have gained somewhat of a notorious reputation for keeping your lips sealed.
NS: (chuckles) I suppose we have. It's not that we want to keep things from people; we just don't want to reveal things too early. It ruins the effect.
HR: And speaking of that effect, word is floating around that Tsukuba will be making a big appearance at Geneva. Can you speak to that at all?
NS: Well, we will indeed be at Geneva, showcasing four cars. Two are current models and two are forthcoming model prototypes. That's about all I can say, but I think "big" appearance is a little out of proportion. But we will be there.
HR: You've also made some fairly substantial tweaks to the sedan as well, have you not?
NS: The Backdraft? Of course. After getting our first quarter profits, we nailed the models that turned out the best to the wall and threw out the ones that didn't. Our goal is to adapt very quickly to the market and I think we're succeeding.
HR: A very large scale trial-and-error process, then?
NS: It has to be. I can guarantee that all the other new makers are operating under trial and error. It's about all you can do. In our case, our trials beget a few errors but mostly successes. You throw out the errors, move on, and stay afloat.
HR: And one of the ways you're doing so is by trying everything - at least it seems that way from the new palette of powertrain options for the Backdraft. Turbocharging, supercharging, twincharging - it's all there.
NS: Exactly. While it would be nice if all of the options we're putting forth were hits, we plan for the opposite. It's sort of a gamble in a way, but if we turn a profit after tossing out a few more slow selling configurations nobody has any complaints.
HR: Okay, last question: Can you shed any light on the Backdraft test mules that have been spotted on the Nurburgring throughout recent months?
NS: All I'll say is we have a lot planned, with an agenda of new models that goes well into 2015. Some of those models might be the type that you'd expect to see blasting around that circuit - or any circuit, really.
HR: Well Mr. Soujiro, it's been a pleasure talking with you about your company. Thank you for bringing us over and clearing some of the shrouded mystery.
NS: It was my pleasure.

Please let me know if I messed up any math or anything.[/SPOILER]

To be honest, when I got my check, I made sure to think, "Wait, WHAT?!?" I guess It was correct, but there has to be SOME miscalculation, or something.mOr it's because I sold my cars at a high price.

Rennen Auto would like to reserve A-10, A-11, and A-12 at Geneva to showcase their new models, the Sakura and the Commander. Also, the Arachnid RNS concept.

I'd also like to employ R&D (whatever that is) to:
1: The RR2TT.
2: The Berlina's Manual
3: Both 4WD systems.
4: The Body of the Berlina and the Arachnid.

Leaked Info for Krieger's Geneva Cars.
Recently someone who worked for Krieger automotive accidentally leaked out the cars for Krieger's booth at the Geneva Auto Show. The 616 E and Luxor E are just as advertised in the press release. Both vehicles are only electric versions of their respective cars. The Krieger Uberschall Concept is totally different. The leak says the Uberschall could possibly have a choice of a V10 or a V12 engine, a turbocharger, and a MR drivetrain. Krieger CEO Paul Del Prete had this to say "It is unfortunate that our stats for our Geneva cars would be leaked like this. However what's done is done and we can only look to the future."

Aryeesport has reserved spots for the Geneva Auto Show.

Sorry for the late update, I had to move 3500 miles this week and it's been appropriately busy. I'll post my Geneva slots tomorrow and also make a "mid" Q2 announcement.

As some of you may have figured out, and it was assured with the last few companies, GOUGE THE BUYERS!

Also, yes I am late. No, there weren't any events that popped up, I was hit with "IE has stopped working" when trying to access the forums. AGAIN. It's the only site it happens on, even YouTube is fine, so I dunno what's up. Played some Saint's Row to chill a bit. Working now.

Every time you have the "IE has stopped working" problem I automatically think of nascarfan's errors trying to upload to Youtube (if other people in here don't get the reference, then look in the GTP Nascar Fantsay Series).
