So I getup this morning, full of the joys of life. Knowing I have a day off work to go see my daughters Christmas nativity play. Her first one, I was really looking forward to it.

I come downstairs, my Girlfreind has made me a coffee and a bacon butty. Awesome start to the day, but, fear hits me, she has the radio one whilst making the food. I run out the kitchen to the front room, out of hearing range of the radio. Close call bruddas.

Then I goto my daughters school, were waiting outside for them to open the school hall. Half an hour passes, then they let me in. They have a Christmas compilation CD on, I know it's going to happen. It's just a matter of time.

Then it's played. I am devastated, THEN the CD player breaks, and sticks on repeat, 16 times the song played before someone fixed it. 16! So that's me well and truly whammed!

But wait, there's more. After her school nativity, I go into Wigan with my Girlfriend to grab some dinner. On the way, someone drives past me, with the cursed song on full blast! BAM! Drive by whamming!

17 times I have been whammed today, I can't believe it. My little girls first nativity, tainted by THAT song!

I wish you all the best of luck, after my day, you will need it. Because I will be systematically picking each one of you off. If I'm going down, your all coming with me.

Yep, I very nearly threw the stereo across the hall, and killed every member of staff associated with the school, but I thought that might be excessive.

Anyway, are the people who's names is black in the OP the people who have been whammed? Because if they are everyone else should beware. I will find you, and I will wham you.

Almost got whammed today! A friend is convincing me to listen to one song which , (normally he doesnt care for the sound) , its obviously wham!

Word of warning for those who may have received a video link from GT-R today; don't follow it. I thought it was just him doing a lap in GT4. I didn't think much of it when I left it playing in the background, but then I notice the background music and... well, I was Whammed once I heard the lyrics. Not cool.

Sorry about that, but I just went through the current non-Whammed users list and sent the link to the video to 14 people (Daniel included; he can listen to it again ). You probably just didn't notice it.

Anyway, thanks for your feedback. The other two videos (one is linked in my signature, so it must be safe ) on my channel are also from GT4 - I'm sure you'll enjoy watching my Mission 34 run. 👍

Ah. I see what you did. Might be a good thing I didn't listen to the full vid - had to mute it because my mother was coming down the stairs, not supposed to be on this during school - but I had to check to see what people responded to my fanfic.

I admit I was 100% unaware, and only an angry parent saved me from a Whamming.

Damn 🤬 close. I muted around the 35-second mark - and closed it because it didn't seem special. Besides me thinking he had gotten the thing to over 250 mph, when I forgot that he uses km/h.
