....can you figure out what it is?

:)

Scaff

Mojito! The lime, the white rum, sugar, soda... It's all there. :dopey:

Now I really have an itch to visit the local beach and have one.

Chin Chin

I had some of this...

in a dodgy local pub (which I can see from right here on my sofa)... at 1 am last night... not a great idea :ill:

I am currently quaffing a tin on Denmark's finest (Carlsberg) and about to watch Superstars on Channel 5... yes, I really am becoming that sad. :D

edit: Oh no, it's Jim Rosenthal :scared:

The first Mojito I had was at my local (favorite) sports bar. Either they made it way too strong or I'm just not a fan of them, but judging by that one, I'll never have another.

I'll stick with my Blue Long Islands and pitchers of Yuengling and Blue Moon.

My drinking experience is limited to mostly wines while touring the Italian countryside, but a Mojito is definitely a favourite. Cool, slightly lemonade-ish with lots of ice and some bubbles - perfect for the summer.

I had my first margarita tonight. Margarita on the rocks. Pretty damn good if you ask me. I'd like to try a frozen one next. I also had a few shots of SoCo, which actually I wouldn't mind at all drinking straight. Sweet taste, and makes your mouth tingle a little bit. I also had some cheap ass beer called Natural Ice Light I think. It didn't really taste bad, but it sure as well wasn't the best beer I've ever had. That spot is reserved for Blue Moon.

In the next year or so, I'll start the bar crawling phase and find the good ones that serve some nice Belgian wheat's and ciders.

Unopened, I would assume just as long as any other bottled product would last.

Speaking of Sake, I had some cold sake a few weeks ago. It royally kicked my ass. I don't think I've ever sweat that bad in my entire life. My bed was drenched in sweat when I woke up the next morning. It didn't make my tummy too happy either. My friend had the same reaction. About a week later, he tried hot sake and said it was much different. No nasty sweats, not nasty tummy feelings.

I used to drink Rogue Dead Guy exclusively. I've been moving to easier drinking beer (see "watered down") as of late.

not too much of a connoisseur of liquors, but i enjoy a glass of Jameson before bedtime. or vodka tonic heavy on the vodka.

I reckon you guys haven't tried Molson Cold shots?

Meh, no point. I remember when they released those, they were too expensive for not much special (what was the Bleue counterpart - Kick, or something?). All of those alcoholic energy drink combos are pretty tame because they take the taurine out to take off the kick of the caffeine on your system. I'd say get creative and buy your booze and mixers separately. You can even get some very tasty beer mixes with various sodas, OJ or cider. Amaretto and beer is also very tasty when mixed with the right portions.

i drink... sorta...

mainly Champagne(hope i spelled it right, i tend to forget), and on occasion i might have an Asahi, Guinness, or a Sapporo...

The cheap store brand. I'm not complaining though. Cheap vodka is better than no vodka.
Then definitely mix it with something, unless you like the taste of rubbing alcohol.

It's better then the crap we get here in the states, have you ever had the displeasure to drink Budweiser, Miller Genuine Draft, or Coors?

Yingling (sorry for the spelling) FTW! I drink when I'm in Sint. Maartin (thats how its spelled) and theres no drinking age. So technically its legal. Truthfully I don't like 95% of beers but yingling is good. I'm more of a liquer person. I have more liquer with my family under supervision, in a controled enviorment (I stay inside), which is perfectly legal according to my criminal justice/law class I took.

have any of you tried firewater???

take a shot of that and make sure when you finish swallowing, inhale really hard... if you take 3 shots of these, it will be a fun night

That reminds me of the time I tried to put some order in my apartment back in college and ended up putting the vodka in the medicine cabinet and ended up mixing drinks with rubbing alcohol... I still have nightmares about it.

Yuengling on tap is excellent. 👍

Had a couple new drinks on the weekend... Tried a Mojito. Didn't like it, particularly. Tried something called a Ward Eight. I dont' recall exactly what was in it.... Bourbon, some lemon, I believe, and I know there was grenadine. Not bad, wouldn't have it again.

And a Whiskey Sour.
I think I'm going to have to drop the traditional Crown and Coke in favor of a Whiskey Sour and/or a Gin and Ginger. Love the taste.

Oh, too bad. I love Mojitos. As a matter of fact, I just drank two tonight.
