Important Stuff to Remember
Car Specs and Regulations

• GT500 Spec Sheet
• GT300 Spec Sheet
• Read the Racing Code! (Click Here!)

Pre-Race Qualifying

• Since we're not doing the weekly qualifying, we'll do a pre-race one instead.
• After pre-race PP Checks are done, the track will be reset.
• The field will be given 15 minutes to do their Qualifying in Free-Run
• If you are satisfied with a lap, DRIVE back to the pits. DO NOT press PAUSE and then EXIT!
• Again, drive back to the pits! Do not press pause and exit!
• Stay in the Pits and wait for the start of the race.
• Once everyone has been confirmed to be inside the pits, the host will start the race.
• Once the countdown hits ZERO, DO NOT MOVE!
• The field will roll slowly and maintain 50mph/80kph
• Maintain your grid spots while holding a double-file grid (8 rows, 2 columns)
• Follow the Rolling Start Procedure Inside the OP!
• Goodluck and Have Fun!

Eligibility for Winning Reserved Spot in Championship:

• Win the race
• Finish 2nd if a Veteran Wins
• Finish 3rd if Veterans finish 1-2

Just to add some meaning and a bit of drama for the Pre-Season races,
i've decided to put something on the line: Reserved spots in the Championship!

Here are three ways you can earn them:

• Win the race
• Finish 2nd if a Veteran wins the race
• Finish 3rd if Veterans finish 1-2

Eligiblity: Grid must be at-least 14 cars deep.


There are 4 grids next week - which means 4 spots up for grabs!

p.s. You are still encouraged to do the qualifier even if you earn a reserved spot
since it decides the order of car-choice once it is open.

p.s. I have not seen commitment posts from you guys. I'm gonna have to put you bunch on the reserved list until further notice.

Not sure what you're asking for here. We (ByGGy, Jash, Hellboy) all subscribed to the championship via the sign up form. But we cannot clik into the "Agree" column of the google doc file and I'm a bit lost in all those threads and posts. Any hint on what a commitment post is ?

Hoping to get an answer from you; I'll look into the FAQ again in the meantime

This is not a drop in and race series.
Repeat, you should not consider joining this championship if you plan on simply showing up on race day to have a good time. There's way too much work put in for it to be a casual series.

Ok, this is the only thing I've found so far which is related to your request. So I guess we've not showed enough commitment so far because we have only a few posts on the forum. Fair enough, we will try to work on that

I was just a tad weary since you guys all had '1' post each. If you guys were longtime GTPlanet members, i probably would not have hesitated to put you guys right away. It's like on eBay. You just sold your 60 inch flat screen TV... but the person who bought it only has 1 feedback... get what i mean?

It's more just about learning and understand the procedures, doing that shows a person is taking it seriously, which is what we want to see.

The continued posting of new people that (not you specifically or anyone for that matter) but the guys coming in saying, "I'll run the Takata for my qualifier", shows us they haven't read squat, which means they aren't preparing properly at all.

The more effort you give the more we'll see, don't think it will go unnoticed, we appreciate when people take the 20-30 minutes to try to grasp everything, it's a lot to take in at once, so questions are fine, it's the questions with obvious answers that makes us groan.


Again, not directed at anyone specifically, or any specific post, just in general.

Masi ive just seen a funny error in Gt500 rooms theres 9 cars meaning 18 spots not 16 so you may aswell delete the Bandai .

I don't get it... what's wrong the the Bandai? I don't own any of the SC430s, but from a visual standpoint, that's the one I like the best.

Bandai's just not a good car, it's simply not at the same level as the Tom's or Sard. We were able to put it on the same level as those two in PURE by giving it more power and such, now it's a beast.

Well forgive my ignorance when it comes to SuperGT. I thought they were all the same.

They're pretty different actually. PD tried modeling slight differences in tire compounds, variations in fundamental set-ups from team to team, as well as engine tweaks (especially the Autech) so you've got a few, pretty much, similar cars and other that have an inherant disparity.

Groups of cars that are the same, save for very tiny variations -
GT-Rs (baseline):
Tomica,
Xanavi,
Impul

SC430s (Level 2 turbo boost):
Tom's
Sard

NSX (Engine upgrade boost):
Takata
ARTA
Raybrig

The Supras need a power boost to keep up, the Z needs to be down tuned slightly.

And these fall out of their categories by a bit and need tweaking to be put on par with their brethren -

GT-Rs:
Autech (needs engine upgrade)

SC430:
Direzza (engine upgrade)

NSX:
Epson (major power upgrade with added weight)

Absolutely useless cars -
Woodone,
Eneos

Well it really depends on the track. GT-Rs, Zs and SC430s dominate on twisty tracks. Supra s and NSX dominate longer tracks.

But no one car is the best at all. Within each group of cars they're all the same.

Supra Slow? When i used it in the singleplayer Japanese GT it was fastest though???
