@ Overheating - Pre-race Procedures.

PP Checks - This will be done before qualifying. First, reset the track. After track is reset, PP Checks will be done. There are 8 kinds of cars in the grid. You'll check the PPs on each one based on the spec sheet.

So first you change the PP Regulation to Car Type 1, then ask drivers on that car to enter the pits. Then you change the PP Regulation again to car Type 2, then ask drivers on that car to enter the pits... so on, and so forth. (p.s. you must tell the cars to hold inside the pits, no one is allowed to go just yet).

After the PP Checks are done and everyone is in the Pits, announce that Qualifying is now in session. It will last for 15 minutes. Once the 15 minutes are over, press pause, and announce that Qualifying is over. Drivers should DRIVE back into the pits if they haven't already.

Qualifying Procedure is in the drivers briefing by the way.

Then start the race. :cheers:

I apologize. I didnt enter the track on purpose. I caught the edge and spun around back on. When I was passin you though you were already sliding which caused my slide avoiding you. Again sorry. No need for you to leave though. I was able to get a couple positions back.

It spins out (oversteer) everytime i shift down from 4th to 3rd gear on Turn 1 and turn 9 (right after the Degner Curve). :banghead:

Fuhh, wrong pitstop strategy for me. Only do 1 pit Stop. Wkwkwk my tyre lost all the grip at lap 28.

Now I know why Immortal is Tony Jr. You are fast dude!! Well done amazing pace. I had a crappy setup and that screwed my tires and pit strategy. Had to go to the pits 3 times. Also, congrats to CSL. What a comeback! There is some serious competition in here. I feel my driving is good enough, I just need to improve my tuning skills a lot if I want to stay within the top spots 👍

He'll race next week,he's not quite ready. He'll do the qualifier sometime next week. He actually watched me race today just to see how things are. So, dont worry next week my old man will be at the track. :lol:

Now my gaers were good.
but on this track is always a fight against the tyre wear.
Napalli which car was bether for you the gtr or the lexus??
 
Well, the GTR was quicker in lap times but the Lexus was better with the tires. Maybe my setup with the GTR needed more work.

Great pace from you, really really quick. Congrats dude :cheers: For me, the GTR and the Lexus are the best cars. The NSX is the worst on the tires, Ghoast and RamStig had trouble with the tires.

Yep you're right. Not only front tyres, but all of tyres drained so fast. 1 pit stop is Nightmare. I dont want do that anymore. It is suck.
 
thanks m8 for me the gtr is also the best i have test the lexus is not bad but slower and the tyre wear is the same.
the nsx is not bad but with hard tyres is the nsx verry hard to drive but the topspeed is heavy i think in monza spa we dont have a chance with ouer gtr or??
 
Lexus is slower but on tracks like laguna or Monaco it is the best. And yes, on Monza the NSX is the best, too quick but if you stick with the draft you can beat the NSX.

yes thats true in monte carlo the lexus is verry good.
yes with draft a gtr can beat the nsx.
on which track we drive next week??
 
Just made a couple stupid mistakes in the first 7-8 laps, and the did a slow-she-steady.
1 Stop would have prevailed if I had either an SC430 or a lighter GTR. I also think 55's could have happened with the right car. ;)

Once tires degrade both GTR and Lexus understeer a lot. Im no tuning expert, but try increasing ride height on front and make spring rate stiffer on the front. Like I said before dont take Suzuka seriously as its one of the worst tracks for the tires. There will be races where tire wear wont be much of a headache. 👍

Gr guys, and ok trackjone, I was pissed man, is there anyway I can switch cars ? Castrol toms supra nsx is ridiculous without tc :scared:
 
Not a good race for me. I knew id never be in contention as I havnt been driving well for a while. Started 6th jumped ramstig before the start line and nearly for Napoli I think? ( yellow hat ). Decided I better back off and them them go before turn 1. Hanged with the top 5 for a few laps and thought maybe this won't be so bad. CSL ran wide at turn 1 and slipped in behind me for 6th.
1 position made and tried staying with with the pack. After 2 more laps CSL was starting to get a sniff of my fumes and i knew it wouldnt be long before I'd make a mistake and hed pounce on me. I got sideways out of the hairpin and he tried to pass, but my car snapped back and I hit him, which he controlled well but eventually it unsettled him and he crashed into the wall lol. Sorry about that again. I backed off to let him back on track and off he sailed into the distance. If I hadn't of held him up for 5 laps or so hed probably have won. No disrespect to Importal.

By this time I'd had a decent gap to 7th and thought this is where I'll stay unless someone makes a big mistake up front, which never really happened.

Tried to do a 1 stop, don't know why lol. Bad decision. If I'd went for 2 I would have easily finished 6th.

Well done to Immortal for a great and well deserved win.
