How do I get rid of Garaiya 08's tail so untable?💡
It spins out (oversteer) everytime i shift down from 4th to 3rd gear on Turn 1 and turn 9 (right after the Degner Curve). :banghead:

Maybe you can try to adjust raise back height & antirollbars
 
We had a very good overall qualifying/pp check/race start btw.👍

I hadn't really been planning on hosting, and having never hosted before I wasn't really prepared to either. :lol:
Ran 15 minutes of qualifying, in which I got a mighty 2 timed laps in between answering a few questions and checking things. Did PP check after qualifying which worked well, nobody entered tuning menu which was good.👍
Only did PP check to keep it simple for what I assumed was a few drivers first time, nobody swerved during formation lap that I saw, ImmortalPilot did an awesome job of running the track at exactly 100KMH too.👍 Did I mention when we started the race it left us in perfect order? Thanks to StigsHero for that method. :D

From a hosting standpoint, the race went very well, happy about that. :)
Hopefully a sign of good things to come. :cheers:

Just signed up for this and will qualify next week. Couple of questions.

How many drivers will participate after the qual. Looking at the leaderboard, it seems like the cut-off is at 30 for each conference and GT500/Gt300 class, ie 120 drivers. Is this the case, will you run different divisions or will there be a qual before each race to determin who will race.

Are there more pre-season races scheduled.

I've been looking at the threads but I cannot the answers to above and some more questions. If there, pls just point me where I can find out.

Looking forwards to this. Cheers.
 
We had a good practice session, a good qualifying and a great race yesterday. We even had a spectator watch most of the entire session.

In the first portion of the race we had a nice 3 way battle going on up front between iforcev8 (RE Amemiya RX-7), myself (Cusco Advan Impreza), and Litchi_GTPlay (Cusco Dunlop Impreza). With Skikkelsens (Weds Sport IS350) and GTP_Erik (Superautobacs MR-S) close behind. Following them was a battle between twistedfirework (Cusco Advan Impreza) and MH4wheel (Arta Garaiya) and a separate battle between Troylee2601 (Weds Sport IS350) and GTP_Pinoy2 (Arta Garaiya).

I have to say, we had a nice close race between positions 1-4 for a good portion of the session. I believe each one of us had an off big enough to cost us a position.

Iforcev8 had an amazing run on lap 24 and snagged fastest lap of the race with a 2:04.957. With almost 90% of his race complete twistedfirework retired to the pits on lap 27. GTP_Erick , Litchi_GTPlay and iforcev8 all took home podium finishes, followed by GTP_Overheating, Skikkelsens, Troylee2601, GTP_Pinoy2, MH4wheel, and twistedfirework. After all was said and done, I think we all had a great time and an enjoyable race. With 6 of 9 cars on the lead lap, and many close battles this really could have been anybody's race.

Like it says in the OP, there will be weekly qualifying like it has been the past 2 seasons.

There is 1 more race planned. After that, the last preseason race will be in January.

Welcome to WSGTC newbies! I'll keep this brief and in simple English. Race clean, disciplined, and respectful around your fellow competitors! Fast but incompetent drivers need not apply - rather have slow and clean! Read the Racing Code 685 times (Click Here!).

You must follow the Car Specs and Regulations pictured below (TBA)! Not following specs will result in an immediate Disqualification.

While inside the race lobby, do not use the 'CHAT' feature while Stewards are sending out instructions for pre-race checks. If you have questions, go ask them NOW! Otherwise, read the OP. We will be using a special pre-race qualifying that is listed below - Read it! Thank you for your patience!

Car Specs and Regulations (All cars at Max Downforce!)

Pre-Race Qualifying
  • Since we're not doing the weekly qualifying, we'll do a pre-race one instead.
  • After pre-race PP Checks are done, the track will be reset.
  • The field will be given 15 minutes to do their Qualifying in Free-Run
  • If you are satisfied with a lap, DRIVE back to the pits. DO NOT press PAUSE and then EXIT!
  • Again, drive back to the pits! Do not press pause and exit!
  • Stay in the Pits and wait for the start of the race.
  • Once everyone has been confirmed to be inside the pits, the host will start the race.
  • Once the countdown hits ZERO, DO NOT MOVE!
  • The field will roll slowly and maintain 50mph/80kph
  • Maintain your grid spots while holding a double-file grid (8 rows, 2 columns)
  • Follow the Rolling Start Procedure Inside the OP!
  • Goodluck and Have Fun!
Eligibility for Winning Reserved Spot in Championship:
  • Win the race
  • Finish 2nd if a Veteran (or previous round 1 winners) Wins
  • Finish 3rd if Veterans (or previous round 1 winners) finish 1-2
  • Must not ask any questions that you can easily answer by reading the OP. :sly:
