GTRA | RSeat WSGTC S3 | Preseason Round 5 | Spa-Francorchamps

Can't see myself racing this week, have some other events to practice for (WRS, PURE Daytona etc). Shouldn't be an issue considering I've been racing here for a while but if PAL GT500 needs a steward I'll jump in at the back with little practice.

I'm guessing that's an outrageous fast lap. :scared: Haven't turned a single lap yet.

There's a ton of quick pad drivers. Remy won the GT500 championship last season and it wasn't even close. Wiifreak won the incredibly competitive (many GT Academy alumni) Lotus Elise 111R RM series.

Back when I was using the DS3, I finished ~32nd in the 370Z time trial before GT5 came out. (the one at Indy) Pretty sure I was the highest finishing player using a controller at the time.

I am not able to participate in the preseaon race as I am having dinner with my work colleagues.

The Lotus Series was awesome! My first one actually :D Good times, made me learn a lot.

I dug through the GT website to see if they still had the results posted, and could only find the top 10 results. Guess they're gone for good. :(

I unfortunately will not be able to qualify, as I have been studying for training on a new airplane, and haven't had the time to run more than 10 laps at spa with my new setup. I can make the race, but no Qualy. May I please be put on the wait list for the race? If not I can wait until the regular season.

I can try Q in a few mins, but will have a short window and most likely will post an atrocious time...

Was the rule changed on observation? I was under the impression that it was still only stewards that could observe qualification runs.

Trajikone is will-i-am, and will-i-am is a steward now. (I assume you mean that last one, otherwise ignore the rest of this. :dopey: )
Last it was mentioned, and as long as I've known the rule, a steward doesn't need an additional steward to qualify, just a witness.

It's come up a few times, and my belief is the old way is best, 100%. If we can't trust a steward with a witness to qualify themselves properly, then they shouldn't be a steward in the first place.(imo)

Trajikone is will-i-am, and will-i-am is a steward now.

I only bring the rest up because it was mentioned by a few people, apparently, that they feel it's unfair, or something along those lines. I feel pretty strongly about not needing a bunch of stewards around to qualify, and if a steward needs checked up on, they shouldn't be a steward at all, imo.

Yeah I know, I guess only a handful of us have GTP names similar to our PSN x)

But anyway, yeah I suggested will-i-am 'cause I saw that good in him :D. Looking like a good choice for steward already 👍
