Also, we're running spa twice? Or just once?

I'm sure he's perfectly capable of driving other cars too. Just saying...

Anyway, I'll be testing with the new specs later on. They're a bit different to what I've been running with so far.

GT500 Regs - Open PP tuning.
All cars must be fully broken in, same as they would with set specs.
Modifications are unlimited.

YMS Yellowhat Supra - 596PP
Xanavi, Calsonic, Yellowhat GTR - 596PP
Motul Autech GTR - 597PP
Takata, Arta, Raybrig, Stealth NSX - 597PP
Denso, Petronas SC430 - 598PP
Bandai Direzza SC430 - 600PP
Eneos SC430 - 601PP
Tom's Castrol Supra - 603PP
Nissan Xanavi Nismo Z - 607PP

How is the car selectionn going to work given that cars will be picked in the order of fastest qualifier first.

Is everybody just going to put in top three car choices each and someone will then figure out which car each driver gets. I could see how that process would work

If above, is there a deadline to give top three car choice.

Thanks

Let's settle down of the car choice jokes.
The GTR seems to be a clear favorite, but just because you make it all 3 of your choices does not mean you'll get one. This is why I recommend people look around for other cars.
There's only 8 GTR's to go around for both PAL and NTSC each, meaning roughly 22 people(2/3) will not be driving GTR's, regardless of choosing all top 3 as GTR's.

I'm curious as well to know how/ when car selections are finalized. I have my top three choices in, but am not really sure if I will get my top choice or any of the three. This could be problematic for me, as I will barely have the time to break in one car, let alone time to break in 3 cars :scared: (And I don't even want to try to trust B-Spec Bob with any of them, as I am not particularly fond of any of my B-Spec bumper-car pilots) I want to make sure I hit the PP regulations in time for the first race! Unfortunately I have limited opportunities for wheel-time (being married does have drawbacks, this most certainly being a big one)

What does it matter how he drives them?
He drives them for 200 miles, and you're set. it doesn't matter how he drives them.

Am I wrong by being under the impression that if the car gets banged up too badly, it will need the "chassis reinforcement" or engine overhaul? (If so, my fault for being ignorant) That stuff costs as much as the car itself. I just bought the Toyota One and Pescarolo, and can't go another 6 mil deep to buy and then rebuild 3 GT 500 cars...

Otherwise, cheers, I'll let Bob run them into walls and runoff areas for 200 miles :)

If you have a level 40 Bob he will not run into any walls. His handling of the gearbox makes me want to cry, but gearbox wear is not part of the game.

But you will want chassis rebuild often anyway, perhaps for every 1000 km's of race or so. Engine rebuild less often.

This month there are some very well paying B-spec online events. 4 mil cr in half an hour, I used a Takata Dome with engine level 3 and detuned, Bob only needs frequent up-pacing.

Thanks Cicua! Unfortunately, I have a very low level Bob, as having to sit and babysit is far more aggravation, and exponentially less fun than just driving myself. I liked the old B-Spec when you could just select one of four or five paces and walk away from the console. If I wanted to check up on numbnuts five times a lap, then I'd be the numbnut driving...

So I'll just put him on the case and fork out the dough for the chassis.

Depends who you ask.
I have not once rebuilt my engine or chassis on any of my GT500 cars, some of which have well over 1000 miles.
I've found no benefit at all from rebuilding before 3,000 miles, based on what I found in the game.

Either way, I suggest running the new B-Spec seasonal to rake in cash faster then you can spend it. :D The Super GT one can break in a GT500 car for you, while earning 4 million in half an hour, just start on intermediates and don't pit. ;)
(I personally break my cars in by running Indy 500, and quitting after 75 laps, fastest way possible without driving yourself)

Please guys, hurry up and make your choice. As you can see, many of cars are typed in black cause I wait for your choice to determinate all the final car for each driver. And many drivers are waiting for their definitive car...
