I just can't understand why you wouldn't let me rejoin the lobby. I didn't ca me with that suggestion, because I though you had a better plan. Well, obviously you didn't. I quited after I flew off the track multiple time, because I was biting my nails not to hit one of you guys. I though I had changes on this track, well not anymore. I'm just damn frustated right now. Being on pole I jumped on the gas, but I waited for Remy to pass me as I didn't see anyone around me. Practised so much for this race.
I announced that I had problems before the race started. It's dangerous for myself aswell as others on the track. If it ever happens again, please give me a change to rejoin.
(For anyone that wants to know what went wrong. I only saw Dennis and Remy on the track. The rest I didn't see. I announced it before the race started. I put my laptop next to me, so I could saw Wardez' stream. I saw everyone on track on that stream aswell as myself. And was looking at both screens at the same track. All is well, although she has 2nd-3rd degree burns on small random spots on her right hand/arm. Treated already... we're gud to go home.

Had to restart my PS3 on lap 16 after my game went all glitchy and I couldn't drive the car on account of the entire track being black.
Words cannot describe how pissed off I am right now. BECAUSE I WAS SET FOR A PODIUM.
It would have been my very first Podium in the GTP Race.

If it's any consolation you will likely earn some points as you DC'd on lap 17 of 19... Also you weren't the only one with bad luck, I was running with the leaders until Aderrm spun right in front of me and with nowhere to go I totally wrecked.. That said, I was surprised I was able to run with the 2 aliens for 5 laps even with the 50kg ballast I was carrying. Hopefully it's a sign my pace is improving.

Sorry to hear that Masi. Glad things aren't worse. I had a candle catch fire in my bathroom the other day too... almost lit the kleenex box. It happens so fast.
@wge - bummer about the connection issues. Seems to claim a few people each week. You had great pace, thats too bad my friend. I managed to get us some points in D2, so all is not lost.

Very tough race, I'll go over it more tomorrow, but damn, had I not had a few F'ups, I was in line for the podium, if not the 1st itself.. But well done everyone, especially Remy and Moleman for winning the D1 classes. Hope you like the 100kg ballast Remy

What a stressful race. After having pulled a 8 second lead I have those flying NSX's catch me by end of Mussolane* they are beasts on straights!!!
Coming onto first chicane chasing Lucky. Had the lead right up to braking point here. I collected him. Not sure what happen. I was looking left at my brake marker the two peole after 200. Crowd brakes and whap. Hit him. Was like how the heck? Reviewing replay. Sure didn't mean to hit him. It totaled my car. Running second aways from third.
Over shot that spot in the dark losing my tracking thinking about previous wreck.
Smooth up and run decent for a bit.
Get on worn tires to have the leaders come from behind. Reeevos goes by no issues. Got a lil run with him. Trying to let him go on start finish about looped it.
Then here comes lynchy. Lights a flashing. I look back. Then again hen again thinking what does this guy want and why is he flashing me. I ain't stupid. I seem you before you even flashed dude. So he keeps it up. I keep checking back. Note I use a t500 on 10. So to look back I go one handed. Imagine serious FFB on that bumpy jolting straight. Anyway. I get bumped over into from the road looking back. I'm like seriously dude why you flashing me breaking concentration. About caused us both to wreck. Sure it says not to flash people in the op. Last year did.
Anyway. I am rusty for sure. Was fun outside those to incidents.
And no not filing reports. Crap happens.

I didn't even have real connection issues. I'm a bit frustated they make a new room for Adam to join and I could just have get out and back in and they didn't let me. Maybe I should have come with that suggestion, but they just started the race not even knowing what was going to happen. It looked fine, because I saw everyone in the test race in the first room.
EDIT: Note that I still blame myself the most.
EDIT: I'm sorry Rees, congratulations on your win. We both got really bad luck the first 3 races. Let's hope everything will go allright the second part of the season.👍

Yeah, we were having a good race. I was taking it easy early on giving up my position whenever Huj got close because of the draft. The GT500 came and put a little distance between us two and Huj so i was bump drafting you on the straights... Sucks cuz I felt like my setup was spot on
I actually didn't go on the first scream, i was like "Yeah?!" ...second scream, i just jumped and ran cuz i saw the smoke lol.. she panicked so the fire spread, good thing it didnt reach the carpet. It was my friend btw, not the girlfriend.
Well anyway, im back home and might race a bit later

Why does everyone think it's all bad assed to swear now?
If you can't keep your messages clean after a bad race than it doesn't reflect well on your characters.
I had a great race with the guys. Fairly clean start and very close action battling for the lead with SupraPhantom after Remy and C-Falcon got some damaged and forced them into a two stopper which actually ended up working out better than my one stop strategy. Supra went off on the Mulsanne corner and I launched away to a 30 second lead. Then I pitted on lap 10 for my one stop and Remy and Falcon passed me while I pitted.
They were drafting partners for a good number of laps then I went past when they pitted for their second time. I was managing about a 20 second lead on three lap old tires and Remy started reeling me in, half a second every sector it seemed.
It got down to 18 seconds, I started thinking to myself, " damn, I think I picked the wrong strategy, then it started raining.
I thanked the lord for giving me another chance to pit since I assumed it was gonna start raining hard. I only had half a track to do to get to the pits so I felt lucky. Went into the pits to slap some wets on and I expected Remy to do the same thing thinking, " this is gonna be an awesome battle for the win"
I smiled while getting my tires and then looked over and saw Remy blow by, I chuckled to myself a bit then went on my way.
Once I was out of the pit and on track I realized how stupid what I just did was. The track wasn't even wet, it was super light sprinkly rain and I was burning up my rears already.
Sucked, but I guess I learned to trust the sky more than the little sprinkles on my screen.
I pitted for inters on the next lap and thusly my race for a podium.
I encountered Chorda when I came out of the pits as he fell behind a lot because of damage. We had a good back and fourth going on and came upon Shrugging Atlas in his Subie in the very last sector so it became reaaaally tight reaaaaally quick. I think that last part of us staying close yet still putting pressure on each other while we were still minding the slower class car is some of the best textbook multi-class racing you'll find any where.
Anyway, congrats to Remy on a job well done and his fondness of weight ballast
P.S: I guess my new video card overheated and my computer shut itself down cutting the stream off early. I have to check my temps and tweak some stuff ot make sure it doesn't happen again. Sorry to those expecting a good full show.
Also, full results will be submitted to the dump shortly. 👍

D1 GT300 was very close at the front - first 3-5 laps were a three way scrap between myself, Aderrm and Atlas. Have to say, Atlas, and only mean this in a positive way - you have improved in leaps and bounds over the last season, it was a pleasure to race side by side with you, hopefully more often from now! 👍
That broke down after Aderrrm ran wide at Indianapolis corner, spinning and collecting Atlas in the process. As a result I saw both of them clearly had damage as I had a massive lead at the end of that lap. I then proceeded to assume I had the race won and could relax provided I didn't make any mistakes... how wrong I was. Firstly, Aderrrm was pushing like crazy to catch back up, and Mule was on a 1-stopper, and I only caught him up on Lap 9 of 19, so clearly it would be close (I was actually planning a 3-stopper).
Then when I came out of the pit lane from my 2nd stop on Lap 10, Aderrrm came past and I knew damn well he wouldn't pit again. So I changed my strategy and stuck with him, hoping his tyres would fall to bits from such a long stint. Sure enough, they did, but I couldn't break the tow down the straight, so waited until it would be possible to make the pass late on. For us, the timer for end of the race started counting down just as we started our last lap, so we weren't going to make it round the lap. So, I sat behind Aderrrm for most of the lap, and only passed up towards the Porsche Curves with 10 seconds to go, and simply watched the timer hit zero - a bit of a shame for the end tbh. Would have still gone for the pass at the same place even without the timer, hoping to pull away through the final sector with my better tyres, I think I could have done it anyway.
For me, fantastic race, I love racing at Le Mans - would have liked a bit of rain though! Rain only teased us this time, but never got the track damp enough for Inters, shame!

It sucked when your stream was offline, because I had to rely on your stream to know where everyone else was. I was trying to get the stream back. Imagine me still racing and messing with my laptop. If it would not have gone offline, I would at least finish the race and get some points. But I don't even have that kind of luck.

This was really fun, until I realized that I suck at driving at night. Missed my braking points over and over again with the result that I had to visit the pit about 5 times. I am not used to run such long races so I had some difficulties with the concentration. As I already visited the pit so many times I tested rain tires when it started to rain, bad decision = bad grip. Has also been difficult to spot cars from behind when I'm using a view that I do not have a rear view mirrors. Did some other rookie misstakes but hey, it´s a first time for everyone.

Hard to be "positive" when I got screwed out of what'll probably be my only chance at a D1 Podium.
Honestly, I am so much better at Le Mans than any other track in this game. It makes no sense at all. I'll be stuck in D2 for now on. Just watch.

So. It was a slightly fun race.
For starters I was in D2.
First few laps I had a good battle with Hutjung and Masi. Then the first GT 500 came and split us. Someone gave a little tap that I would be reporting had I not managed to keep it on track. That was on the fast right hander just before Indianapolis.
Then Masi had to flew and I went for a 2 stopper.
Managed to catch Hut when he pited but the gap was to little. I thought about going till the end after piting early at lap 6, but remembered I didn't refueled the car. (Mole you remembered this time right), so I had to pit again and Hut had a great pace in a 1 stop race.
Oh well. In a track I don't like that much, with less than 6 laps before the race it was an ok result. Looking for the bright side I lost the ballast.
And to germany we go, to one of my fav tracks.
