you then check to make sure the results are correct as I have them now in the results dumps?

I will double chech the points by Sunday. I just got home from drinking some beer with some friends to cool down after the race. And now I need to sleep. And tomorrow, I'm bestman at a friends wedding. So tomorrow is not GT5 time to say the least.

Btw: I'm not listed in the GT500 results dump sheet.

You need to calm your self down both in the race room and in GTPlanet man.

i understand your frustration with owens but things happen after watching replay on my second trip through the field you hit me and forced me off. so, none of us are perfect we all make mistakes.

What's your replay show where I collected you from behind? I got myself apying brakes and then whop. No brake lights on your car at all. Which is what makes no sense. If you was slowing down as fast as it shows. You would of been on brakes. :(

Got lag punted tonight myself in the Cappy race. The servers issues? Second race was fine. However was not around same group of racers during second round there.

Lynchy sorry for coming over on you. As I mentioned I was looking back and got jolted by the bumpy straight. What happens when you break attention from going straight to see why your being flashed. If I had both hands on wheel wouldn't of happened.

Pointsystem.
Same Class: 55, 49, 43, 37, 32, 27, 22, 18, 14, 10, 7, 4, 2, 1
Mixed Class: 55, 49, 43, 37, 32, 27, 22 // 22, 18, 14, 10, 7, 4, 2

As soon as a driver dc's prior 85% completion, all drivers move up the pointscale accordingly.
Yes, it gets a bit strange that if you win D2, and someone in D1 got a pre 85% completion DC, you'll get the same ponts. But on the other hand, D2 winner always get bonuspoints in a mixed class race due to the pointsystem. So it looks kind of strange, but it's infact not. Yes, it can be "unfair" (As some like to put it) that D2.2 earns as much points as D2.1 if they both move up one step on the pointscale due to a pre 85% DC in D1... Sure.. But if that's the case, it's "unfair" that D2.1 earns as much as D1.7. It's exactly the same thing.

So we DO move up drivers accordingly. And we DO use the pointsystem that's in the OP (the exact same one as I posted a few rows up.

Also: I've recieved complaints from moderators that we can not use ":::::" or "--==" in our titles. It was removed for the third time, and the moderators sent me a message that we should not use any non-alphabetic asterix's in our thread titles. So do not put them back when removed. It's not me who removes them, it's the moderators.

As I said, copy and paste this post: (ONLY Masi_23 and Wardez)

Great race for me. Me, Atlas and Mole were having a good battle up to lap 6. Sadly I ran wide at one corner and I knew that I would have to straighten my wheel up so that it doesn't spin round but the car just flew round and had I no chance of catching it. It was all over in an instant really, lol. I collected Atlas which I am very sorry for, as it half ruined my race but ruined his much more. Sorry about that dude. 👍 I struggled back to the pits with engine damage and left rear damage going really slow, and then I crashed again at the second part of the porsche curves, hitting the wall and received rear right damage. Again, aplogies to the whole field that tried to overtake my very damaged car on the way to the pits.

At the start of the race, I was thinking of running a 2 stop so I could have broken the toe from anyone still behind me at lap 6 and that way I would have been set up if it had rained too. I ended up pitting on lap 5 anyway because of damage, but I was a long way behind Mole. I pushed quite hard (although it's easier said than done when it's pitch black!) for about 4 laps catching up the other GT300s and making a bunch of mistakes a long the way. When I went on to lap 11 I figured the only chance I have of winning is to not pit again, meaning finishing the race on a 14 lap old set of tyres. And if I come 2nd, well I might have only come 2nd if I did pit. On the corner I decided to switch to a 1 stop, I put a wheel on the grass on the same corner as on lap 5, and it was a few hairy seconds before I re-gained control (it didn't do anything for my tyres, either).

So Mole caught me up at lap 12 I think and this is where I tried to get in front of him at every corner, particularly the first sector and the porsche curves section because this is where he had the tyres to break the toe. He nearly did at one point, but he ran wide twice meaning he had to slow back down for me (although I think I still was in his toe anyway :P). When Remy crossed the line, me and Mole were only about 40 seconds into our last lap. So I figured the timer would run out just before Porsche curves. And it did! Mole played it tactical, and kept behind me until he overtook me just before the tight right hander where he overtook me with about 5 seconds to go. I play a bit of tactical gameplay, but I hate the slipstream that much in this game that most of the time I battle all the way up to the flag, not caring who is in the lead at the final corner.

Great race though everyone. It was definitely a different experience being dead last and having to work through the field, having no idea what position I would finish the race in.

By the way, The GT500's couldn't have waited a whole 2 minutes. And if they did, they must have gone well above 55 mph. When I had damage at lap 5, all gt500s overtook me on lap 5 between the Porsche curves and the pitlane. That means if you did wait 2 minutes, you would have took 20+ seconds out of the gt300s per lap which definitely isn't possible at race pace.

Remember, for the first 20 seconds or so the gt300s are sorting themselves out from the grid and so you need to wait more than 2 minutes as displayed on the race time in the top right. Really, you should wait 2 minutes from when we are sorted out. Although I still don't think 2 minutes is long enough. Even if you waited 4 minutes, most of you would have overtaken us. I'll keep an eye on how long you decide for the next race. :ouch:

Also wge, it's a bit different creating a new room for someone when there's 20 minutes until green flag, and creating a new room when everyone is on the grid. That aside, I think once the room is created from now on and as long as there is not a problem with the room itself, we should not create a new room. As wge experienced, creating a new room sometimes only creates new problems for people who were having no trouble before and most of the time doesn't solve the problems for the person having problems trying to get in (as I experienced). I know what caused my problem now anyway, so it shouldn't happen again. 👍

Paginas Divison 2 Race Report.

Qualified 3rd -

The start went really well for the GT500 guys, i think no damage happend for a good few laps (lol). There was a big battle between at least 5 of us for the 1st laps or so untill i came up to the big right hander after the 2nd straight, Lynchy was ahead of me and i think i was sitting in 4th, i lifted of the throttle nice and early and then started to break lightly, then suddley Lynchy's car jumped in my SCREEN (scared me to bits and i think i soiled myself). This resulted in heavy engine damage plus my front wheels where wrecked.

Lap 3 Pitted, far too early as i only wanted to do a 2 stop race, however i thought this could still work as the guys in front are still fighting/slowing each other down. Me and Lynchy started drafting each other to catch the guys at the front, it was going well untill around lap 7/8 we came arcoss a lone gt500 who was going super slow, Lynchy was ahead and was a bit agressive in trying to overtake him which resulted in knocking him off the track which then resulted in more DAMAGE for me. Back to the pits.

Lap 8 pitted. After that i was alone in the dark but putting some good times in untill the damn cat wanted to play right at the end of the lap resulting me to crash into a wall, lucky enoug i could see the pits. This was around lap 11/12. I thought i would have to make another stop so i didnt put the right amount of fuel in, BIG MISTAKE,

Around lap 15/16 Red went into pits and somehow i was in 2nd place only around 11 seconds behind, but nooooo i didnt have enough fuel in to make it to the end. Pitted again, whacked new fresh tyres on and a dribble of fuel.

End of lap 16 it started to rain and thought YES, hopefully red will panic and pit or he will spin off, i was around 50 secs behind, and got it down to around 40 HOWEVER i ran out of fuel at end i lost about 10 secs lol

Great race even though i got my pit crew working overtime, i feel that i could of gave red a run for his money as i feel im the La Sarthe King (lol)

You're both wrong by default! ON the count that you both tried to refer to a driver that's really good at La Sarthe as " La Sarthe King"

That's kind of like calling Neo from the Matrix, " Crazy dude that's gonna be the one that solves everything"

It's MR. LE MANS

I nominate myself...

for no reason :)

Oh thanks for clearing that up ha.

I will try and look at D2 Fastest laps at somepoint today and then update them to sheet ;)

Ok, i've read most of the comment about me and most say i need to calm down. I am a calm person but when i'm overtaking i turn into Lewis Hamilton. Sorry for any distress i caused. Next time i hope my anger don't take over also Sorry for the bad language. I was just real angry after the race. So lets hope we can all be mates again.

Feel free to add them to the sheet yourself in the future. You should be on the editor list for the results dump. Same goes for all stewards.

What the.. Haha. I was on the limiter at 171mph, if I set the ratio any higher it was horrible through the rest of the circuit

:P I noticed that watching the replay. You did gear your car very short though compared to Atlas. You was nearly redlining at the end of a straight whereas Atlas was at just over 6000 rpm. You had about 20% less fuel than him at the end of the race which would have helped with the weight. Mule's car looked very thirsty too even if he was shifting at 5000 rpm!

I think I did a faster lap or was that lap unclean?

Lap 2 is the lap I'm thinking about by the way.

Will do. 👍 I'm signed in on my google account on the gt300 results dump but I still only have 'View only'.

Erm, not sure. All I did was let my replay run until the last lap and then checked everyone's lap. The next fastest gt500 lap was C-Falcon with a 3:52.1xx

I don't know if I ever got your E-mail Ad. PM it.

Am I able to edit it wardez? I know I'm listed as a capable host and you had my email and you said I should have corrected what I saw last night but I'm not aware that I'm a steward??
