The OP needs to list all these confirmed changes. C'mon man! Quit slackin!
I noticed that the stock GT86 uses 6 Kg/mm spring hardness for front suspensions and 2 Kg/mm for rear suspensions. I feel there's something wrong with this, but it might have to do with suspension geometry (still I'm not sure that GT5 has that much detail - chances are that stock suspension settings for this car aren't working like they're supposed to).
wow they flash again? Awesome!
When you click someone's name in 'Community', the Photo and Track icons will now be highlighted if that user has any Photos/Tracks uploaded. No more wasting time checking if the user has or hasn't uploaded pics/tracks.
Z CrazyIf I missed this previously posted, sorry... but I noticed you can get prize cars from previous seasonal events you completed in all gold simply by going into the event.
Also the penalites working in Free Run is great, no more fake pole laps.
Minor thing I noticed, there is a confirm / cancel on race restarts. This is nice for me, as I have kids and have lost many races due to accidently hitting restart instead of continue, after pausing.
GtunedThe GT86 You can buy, the concept you can't.
Bloom in photomode is back - yay
You can now turn on/off separate hud elements! - how the hell they didn't list that!?!
Filters aplied in camera mode now are seen in whole replay, not only in camera mode
You can change how the view in your garage to a grid, 2 by 2 and a list without thumbnail.
I was excited when I saw the HUD options.
But you still can't choose just to have the lap times and the tyre temperatures and fuel gauge. :/ You have to have the whole speedometer on, apart from the suggested brake/gear indicator, which makes it largely pointless.
It also seems that they've changed the physics a little big.
Usually doing a burnout was difficult (your engine would usually stall).
But now, testing my ZR1, you can now stay still (or at least move very slowly), while burning out the wheels, which i did with racing softs. Doing burnouts is much closer to what I've seen in real life.
But there is also a bug. When you are moving forward slightly when doing a burnout, your move in the opposite direction of where you are steering (if you are steering right, you move left, and vice versa).
And although the chase cam was mentioned before, it seems that it follows your car also along the x-axis (when on a slope on Daytona, your camera would be at an angle with the car, unlike previously where only the car would be at an angle.) You can check this out by trying to flip your car at Trial Mountain (your camera would be upside down momentarily until it flips when your car is completely upside down).
And as part of the new sounds, the tire squeal has been toned down (at least from my 10 minutes of gameplay today)
And those who bought the DLC twice get the FT-86 Concept II and those who bought it three times get the Subaru BR-Z (i think, can someone confirm this last one?)
The BR-Z? Can anyone confirm this?
Apologies for the double post.
You get the FT-86 Concept II, not the BRZ.The BR-Z? Can anyone confirm this?
Apologies for the double post.
