Trust me, judging merely by the way you talk and carry yourself I can guaruntee you that if you simply start racing in this series you'll become so much better by the end of it.
Don't worry abotu getting in anyone's way. If someone faster's pulling up, you'll know how to move over, that's all there is to it. Just have fun with it man. This is what I believe leagues are mostly for, training and gaining experience.
We'll be here for you if you need any questions answered, no matter how dumb you'd think they are. Most of us are down to do lead and follow so don't get discouraged if your times are a bit off.
If you somehow end up ruining every one else's race by having your car explode on track, then I might say it'd be a good idea to resign, until then, go for it!
