Looks fun but Sunday's family time. Maybe late at night for sure, oh well.

I'll be a spectator :D

How would you say that? What are you having trouble with?

Trust me, judging merely by the way you talk and carry yourself I can guaruntee you that if you simply start racing in this series you'll become so much better by the end of it.[/

Don't worry abotu getting in anyone's way. If someone faster's pulling up, you'll know how to move over, that's all there is to it. Just have fun with it man. This is what I believe leagues are mostly for, training and gaining experience.
We'll be here for you if you need any questions answered, no matter how dumb you'd think they are. Most of us are down to do lead and follow so don't get discouraged if your times are a bit off.

Pretty much this. We're all helpful people. Racing with people who are faster than you will give you a great amount of experience. Don't quit before the practice race because you're intimidated.

@Mule (just to cover base)
I'm not gonna be able to make the pre-seasoner tomorrow as I'm a dipwad.

Or I have to help someone move a TV.

Either way, I'll see you soon!

That's fine.
I bet you guys had a sigh of relief with the 1.12 patch fixing the LSD's in these cars.

You guys was my first thought when I read about that bug. Was like oh that's not cool.

Woot

My LSD was already set, but yeah, Thank You Based Kaz for getting that patched quickly.

(you should join up ;))

Alright I guess I'll give it a shot... I already did a race in another league at the same track and didn't do too good, though...

Made a bitly link!

You could even put it in the room name like this:
bit.ly/gtpiwcmain

Edit:
Hey Mule, I just learned that I might be able to just make the race if you push back the race start 30 minutes. Would that be cool? I can be home at right around 4:00 EDT. If not that's ok too, just letting you know I had a bit of extra time open up.

We'll likely get pushed back anyway, seeing as how we're doing all the qualifying before the race.

Works for me.. Link's sexy, btw.

Right, I can't get under 52:7xx how ever hard I try. I'm not sure if it's setup or lack of talent but I think it's the latter but hoping it's the former! Just been concentrating on how to make the tyres last. Hope I can make it thru qualy!

Thanks syjones! I know it should be 9pm, but as they're talking about pulling it back a bit, I'm asking for "official confirmation from the organisation" :P

I'm coming back, i'll be there in like 30 mintes would you guys mind waiting? I'll just start from the back.

We could probably wait until 4:40 EST because we're still doing qualifying runs. doing the last 2 now. 10 min wait wont be too bad.

Have to stop for a very annoying person's inability to be patient. Go ahead and start without me, sorry guys.

No, I'm probably not gonna be back for about another 30 minutes. No worries!

Feel free to come in and watch when you can. There's 10 of us in the room right now, with Nepalii trying to get in.

Well, that was, for the most part, a great race, especially at the back. Nepalii, Seth and myself were having a great battle in the closing laps, until a certain someone had to ruin it.

Guys, if you see a group of people a lap down all battling for position, and it's near the end of the race and you have no chance of gaining any more spots, just leave them alone and let them have their battle. DO NOT run them off the road.

Race results:

1. GTP_Aderrrm
2. Wiifreak
3. syjones
4. BlackIce
5. ForceKahvi
6. GV27
7. sethfraz22
8. MULE_9242
9. NEPALII
10. soishiro_37
11. Torzilla (DNF)

I'll have a mini race report in a bit.

Thoroughly enjoyed the race but apologies to anyone's races I ruined. It's the first time I've run up front in one of mules races and trying to look after the tyres, be safe under breaking from a tow and be fast was very challenging. I must say sorry to Nepali for putting him off the road at the first corner while lapping him and blackice at the last corner for missing my braking point. Sorry guys. Having not watched the replay theses are the only ones I can remember so if anyone's got any 'beef' PM me.

Great job again mule.

Thanks to everyone who's raced with us today!! And sorry if I hit someone. Obviously not on purpose. I am aware, however, that I have to improve when overtaking, since I have not that much experience when drafting and breaking at a higher speed. Will solve this for Suzuka!

As a related "self-note"; I have to learn how to set up the car, as I should be faster! :)

im just back from the touring car at knockhill its a shame i was constantly in the 52.4s so id of been up front :sly: but i look forward to suzuka ;)

Yeah, don't worry. You have the outright speed, you just need to learn how to handle the slipstreams and how to adjust your braking points in them.
