Noup. I don't have it.
As I was throwing the cars from last night in your box, I saw the wheels & I was like :ouch:

I'd so have put those wheels to good use, you know, when I start my wheel swap projects. Coming early-to-late 2013. 👍

You guys didn't consider using putty at all? That's probably one of the easiest solutions here if you wanted to shrink the well size.

Sneaky preview-ish. (Splitter + Intercooler = WIN)

Mwahahaha never

Also, That looks quite bad-ass, Jason.

Aluminum tape rocks by the way. I was trying to figure out what to do with the end tanks on the intercooler, then it hit me that I still had a little aluminum tape left. That stuff is awesome. It's the same stuff I used on the exhaust pipes for the Copo Camaro.

Can't attach the splitter until I clear coat the body.

Cano's right, I meant to say splitter. I thought there were considered part of a front spoiler.

I wasn't talking about the opening, I was talking about the black piece of material the red body is sitting on.

Mazda is looking sweet Jason. 👍 Is the aperture off center, or is it just an optical illusion?
I just set it on there to get an idea of what it would look like. I can't physically attach it to the car until after I clear coat the body. That comes after decals & detail which I have yet to work on. Car is still a little sticky, I figure by the end of the weekend she'll be set to handle.

On most time attack inspired cars, this would be considered a splitter:

I mean't the opening/aperture. I think it may just be the angle it's being viewed at. Please tell me you're going to add the tension strut thingy's on your splitter (like in the Toysubion pic). That really would complete the look.

Oh yeah, probably just an illusion since the pic was taken at an angle.

And I definitely want to add the struts, just trying to figure out how exactly. I was going to use a spare axle for them, but it might be too big. Gotta find something a bit smaller, maybe some wire.

If you ever find random privately owned stores that sell random scrap material, that place is the best place to do your crafts shopping. They're usually not located in populated areas like malls or piazzas, but rather in off-beat areas like in industrial suburbs or downtown in crummier areas.

There's one here in Toronto and you find stuff you'd never think people would ever "carry in stock" or even sell in the first place.

Here is my Datsun 510.

I got the wheels off of an old NASCAR Hot Wheels car. I also filed down the windows and windshield lines since the casting made them rough. I designed decals but maybe I'll keep them off. I'm learning so much as I go.

That Datsun is in one hell of a nice colour. Try using Photoshop or GIMP or something to superimpose the decals over pictures of the car and see what it looks like. I personally prefer cars with either proper racing decals or no decals at all. Random pictures of alligators just don't cut it for me.

After two repaints, the MR2 is nearly done, just have to fix some nicks it's gotten during travel, and snag done wheels. If I remeber right Cano did a MR2 of the same vintage a while back. If so what do you think of Ferrari 5 spokes on the MR2? Tge old wheels are the basket weaves, and have seen a lot of abuse.

-edit-
Also, the paint nicks and scratches easily; if there any way to stop this? I striped and the paint, washed and dried it, did a layer of primer and then my spray paint. All of it was metal specific, but I still have the issues. After I'm done detailing, I'm thinking about just getting a hard clear coat. I hate seeing my work undone.
